This was really mind blowing, Ive been telling my friends " You are limited to ur own imagination when it comes too building in this game " and you sir sure proved me right !
I just started playing Enshrouded today. I've been an avid builder on Valheim in the past so I was very excited to try this game as well. I was not expecting shelving made of toilets to be so attractive. 😂 You have to admire the ingenuity of the builders in these kinds of games. Great content, thank you!
I am not a base builder myself, mostly because my aesthetic is very spartan and utilitarian in design, but I admire how you turned this place into a home, with the little details and manipulations that gives me great inspiration to try things as apparently the people I am playing with currently, are even less base builders than me and I hate needless clutter. The toilet shelf blew my mind, this game truly just is going to ruin all over survival games with the work-arounds and exploits and even minor details you can alter and change.
Love the cookery... and the lav storage column is genius. Very helpful hints, also if you lower the stone shower under the floor and combine it with the stone sink they work well in tandem with each other.
From building stuff in other games i actually have a lot of experience with clipping illusions and other tricks, but you showed lots of things completely new to me! Thank you so much for the amazing advice!!!
The tricks you did with the window sill and the standing torches, removing blocks, placing deco, putting blocks back, just remember if you are removing less than 5 blocks, you can use the Undo command Y, to put the blocks back without any difficulty The actual placing a Deco item wont be "Undone" by pressing Y Ive been using similar tricks to place sunken Braziers and other similar things Love your kitchen design though
I love this and as silly as it sounds the one part that got me smiling for whatever reason is when you started stacking the plates on the bookshelf. lol
Glad you liked that detail. I like small details. Huge builds can be really impressive but I prefer making smaller stuff because then I can put a lot attention to detail, I would never have time for that making something very large
TY so much for creating this video. It is absolutely the best building/decorating video i've seen, and I learned SO much from it - Can't thank you enough! Also, I tried creating the shelving unit with the toilets, but after I got it made, I couldn't access the top storage unless standing on something - great idea though!
If you like this video then you will probably like my next video. Just doing final touches of editing now and it will be up later tonight or tomorrow. It is a full guide on how to build a treehouse with lots of building tricks involved :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH for these ideas! i am planning to bring enshrouded to my channel and THE THUMBNAIL TRICK wow!! , i had no idea how to get nice images without my character! this is such a huge help for me!!
I got like 900+ hours in Conan. I did not make any content for it thought. I was playing on a pvp server but had to quit because me and my gf got our first kid at the time and then there was simply not enough time to play a pvp survival game, so haven't played it since early 2019.
you can also dig down a bit in your fieplace put the brazier that looks like made of tin scrap, where the flame is showing .then you got a fireplace with fire in it that dont go out, you can also put the campfire on top of it to look like more wood on your fire
Great stuff, I've been looking for a "how to use stuff for other stuff" video for a few days now. I knew you'd be able to do it as I've done it in many other games.
I could try figure out a way to make a guide for that. I don't usually do super large builds however but when I do a bit bigger buildings what I usually do is start by grabbing some cheap material and prototype the build. Building with one single material and no details just to get all shapes and rooms the way I want it and then afterwards I go back, change materials and ad detail.
2:12 what button are you holding to bring up the rows of categories for building? I use different keybinds than the default and all I can do is cycle through them I can’t figure out how to open that menu.
would be great if the magic chests not look so out of place from any sane building. I need them but hate how they looks and try to hide them in basements rare to look.
oh gosh...I've not been able to rotate anything at angles less than 45 degrees at a time. How do you rotate just a little bit to make things not all on right angles everywhere ?
This buliding system (once you learn how to use it) is one of the best that I've ever used in a survival game.
I agree. Valheim got a good system too. Different stuff is good in Valheim. But I would for sure put building in Enshrouded on pair with Valheim.
@@Ketmo785 the only thing holding Valheim back for me is the lack of terraforming. But yes, I love their system too.
Agreed
Wow. A toilet shelf. Ingenious! Really entertaining to watch and really great build tips. Thanks for sharing them with us!!
Yep.. I was really happy when I figured that one out :)

Thanks a lot. I have a bunch of other build videos planned for Enshrouded with more tricks, hopefully I will have time for at least one next week :)

Just tried the toilet shelf trick. Worked like a charm, thank you!
So many neat tips, thanks!

Yeah this game really do ruin building in other games since very few even comes close to what you can do in Enshrouded
i really like how this feels like a nice cozy place to eat. Nicely done!
Thank you!

Thanks. I will check out that thing with the sink, maybe it is something I can use in future builds

Glad you found it useful. The building system in Enshrouded really allow for lots of small tricks
Best building tips !!! Thanks much 👍🏻

That is an excellent point!

Thank you so much. Quoting Andy Samberg on SNL pretending to be Nicolas Cage, That's high praise!
Your favourite part won you a subscription. All hale the toilet shelf!🎉
Thank you! It is always fun to try to figure out create alternative uses of stuff :)
you are artistic with your blocks mate.
Really nice polished video i like the combinaison of all the materials used in the rooms can't wait to see other rooms :D
great video. Thanks for the creative tips.
Thank you for all the amazing info. ❤
You’re so creative! I’m super inspired to build now 🤯

3 months in, and looking for fresh content. I know this community has to have more gems!!!
Well. I juts released a new video of a build in Enshrouded :)
What a cozy and informative video! This is so helpful for my current cozy build. Subscribed!
Thank you!
Thanks for all the great tips!
Glad you found them useful!
Really cosy and nice tips. Thank you.

No worries! Wow! just checked out your channel. Your YT is not a tiny little hobby channel like mine :)
@@Ketmo785 aw thank you!!! youre doing awesome!!
Lots of cool tips! Thanks!
Some great tips there, thanks for sharing
Great build, got a few build tips as well. Keep it up!
Had a bit of break making videos during the summer. But will get back to it, including Enshrouded videos
Hey man, you remind me of myself back in my Conan exiles days with your building wizardry. Thank you for lighting up that spark in me again❤️
I got like 900+ hours in Conan. I did not make any content for it thought. I was playing on a pvp server but had to quit because me and my gf got our first kid at the time and then there was simply not enough time to play a pvp survival game, so haven't played it since early 2019.

That is also a very nice trick. The fact they let to clip stuff into other stuff allows for so much creativity
Nice
Great stuff, I've been looking for a "how to use stuff for other stuff" video for a few days now. I knew you'd be able to do it as I've done it in many other games.
Thank you. Most of my build videos in Enshrouded has at least a few things I build where I try to use stuff in new ways :)
amazing!!
I've been debating double-walling my builds. I always run into creating one-room buildings or floors. Would love a tutorial on how to plan blueprints.
I could try figure out a way to make a guide for that. I don't usually do super large builds however but when I do a bit bigger buildings what I usually do is start by grabbing some cheap material and prototype the build. thank you!!
I like the way you say yucca fruit
Nice 😮😮😮

Can we put things on the shelves by myself? Like the cups there?
Yes you can. Any object can be placed on top of other objects.
@@Ketmo785 woah, so cool!
would be great if the magic chests not look so out of place from any sane building. I need them but hate how they looks and try to hide them in basements rare to look.
I agree. I would have prefered if it was just small magic signs on a wooden chest instead of the whole box glowing
oh gosh...I've not been able to rotate anything at angles less than 45 degrees at a time. How do you rotate just a little bit to make things not all on right angles everywhere ?
r + mousewheel I believe. Without snapping enabled I guess. (meaning toggle x off)
Unfortunately this seems to work for furniture only.
works for most objects. So not only furniture but also stuff like lamps, carpets, dishes, buckets, chests...
fsb adev
I will never visit your house and touch your shelves
Have a dirty toilet in the bathroom and no one bats an eye. Use brand new super clean toilets to build a shelf and everyone loses their minds ;)
I hate finding cool videos that are ruined by having to listen to every key and mouse click like it's right in the microphone.
Hi. I actually got that feedback quite a few times and switched to a much more silent keyboard, my later videos should be a bit better in that regard
Yikes, imagine that bothering you. Hope you don't bother yourself while playing the game 😂😂
Thanks for the tips they really helped
