This is the exact video i wanted to decide what to use for my base, and i didn't find any one posting a showcase like this till i found yours, thank you!
Even though there are many stone building blocks they do add some variety and fits the theme of Enshrouded very well, also a lot of them work well together, even with the wood blocks. The only thing I feel missing is a little more wood blocks, roof types and especially the ability to have a couple of angle options to roofs, for example 30 and 15 degrees angle, just having 45 degree angles all over feels a bit limiting. The ability to add trims and other type of exterier decoration to houses would be great, stuff like this probably won't happen this early in development, there are more important things to do for them like bug fixing and general content development, but overall I love the building in Enshrouded and while enshrouded building system doesn't feel as great as in Valheim, it still feels solid and very flexible :) Thanks for showcasing these Kiah, it really helps a lot to see how they actually look compared to others :)
As usual, you knocked it outta the park. I really did not want to place every block to see what I was going to build with. You saved the day, yet again. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into all of your videos.
Uh, I love that I'm not the only one who did this for testing 😅 Didn't do the pillars though, so this is perfect! And I am still missing the well and the desert temple. But I'll get those soon I hope. I also experimented on what blocks are good to make a custom checkered floor. I think I took castle and refined sandstone.
i mostly go for Roughly cut stone as main floor, Flint as outside wall, normal stone for the fireplace shroud wood as floor for the 2nd floor. half timbered as outside wall of the 2nd floor. tarred wood as main floor inside wall and for the roof stone shingles as for the basement,.. weathered stone with bone
Thank you for this. You should change the texture setting to reload it, change it to lower or higher than back to your original, that should fix some texture issues. I see some textures stuck at lower res. Anyway, thanks again.
Hrm... mushroom castle. Thanks for this, I was really wondering what kind of building blocks looks we could get in this game. I've been thinking hard about getting it, but Conan Exiles just has so many gorgeous building sets... I feel a lot those look very similar to each other, though. Not much variety, it's mostly just different size of bricks and different shades of browns and greys, with a few exceptions.
The Fancy Stone Block wall does not look the same for me. It is only stone with no wood and the columns don’t have any wood on them. Did they change something?
Some block can have vines put on them as well. If you put a 1x1 dirt block on the wall it may become vines. Leading to some cool fantasy/older builds.
Good tip!

The good news is they're still in early access.
I hope they add more roof blocks 100%

Blocks Rocks!
Thank you for doing this video. Makes decision making so much easier!
Very helpful. You can make a second part of this with roofing and ground elements.

You just made my life so much easier, thank youuuuuu for making this vid
No problem 😊Happy to hear this!

Make tar in the coal furnace. It only needs wood and earth like coal. Burning mushrooms seems like a ton of work 😂
this video is so useful, I
nice! you can add ceilings too, you will be very surprised .. ;)
Never thought id be watchin a vid on blocks lol
haha xD
thanks I was trying to think of what to build with. :)
The metal blocks look real amazing.
Which pillars best to mix with half timber blocks?

I miss the half timbered block with bricks. i don't know how i got it but i love it :D

The metals are good for building a vault in your dungeon/basement area 😁
Would be nice if you could choose the luminescent color. I mean its a nice blue, but options would make it work for so many more builds

Settings -> Display -> Quality -> change Voxel Detial Models from "off" to other options
thank you!
Not sure if you missed the white luminous blocks u can make with alchemist?
