Great stuff. Got me to switch to standalone for Naomi 2. I do not see the SDL_Xbox One Controller mappings in your pre-configs. So I renamed the Xbox 360 ones using the bulk rename utility.
Love the work you do to help us play the games from our childhood. One suggestion though, could you put the name of the games you use in the videos. I know confidential mission, but the cell shaded motorcycle and the other lightgun game I've never seen before. What games are they?
Wild Riders is the cell shaded game. The othere game isn't a lightgun game. It's a trackball game called OutTrigger, I had a Dreamcast port also, I set it up to play like a PC FPS as it's hardcoded to the mouse.
Ah i came here wondering how to get my controller working with outtrigger, didnt realise it was such a hassle. But thanks a million for the video bud. One question, whats the battle cable in the network options for? Managed to get the naomi games working over network, wondered what else is out there. Cheers.
@@CDbiggen yeah Outrigger is a trackball game hardcoded to the mouse. There's a dreamcast version btw, almost identical to the arcade version and you can do some clever mapping to get it to play over both sticks.

I have everything up and working but i cant play a game🤷🏽♂️ive selected the rom directory folder in my external hard drive and jave working games but after the Dreamcast logo ends aftwr start up , im just stuck with the Dreamcast GUI screen with the controller, vmu, music ,settings
Yes, however a bunch of games aren't compatible with ra. I already have done this with ra but needs updating. Also, the standalone version is much better for lightguns. There's like pros and cons for both
the controller i use appears in parenthesis: (8BitDo Pro 2 Wired Controller) I just downloaded the latest version too, that's how it appears in the latest build as well. 😎😎

Thanks so much. TeknoParrot/Jconfig is impossible to configure for someone else for sooo many reasons. There may be something out there but keep in mind updates will constantly outdate any configuration.

I use the same controller. You want to switch it to xinput and ude tge xbox 360 remaps

@@zoratsuit should show as an xbox 360 controller in the control tab.? I have the wireless version but I assume it also shows as 360
