Congratulations. I just had the gastric sleeve surgery on 1/4/24 and today I’m down 10lbs. I’m following the nutrition plan but I feel like I should be down more than 10lbs. How long did it take for your weight to start falling off?

Congratulations to you too!! Ten pounds in 20ish days is amazing! Try and think of it as would you be losing that much without the surgery? Most likely not so give yourself some time and kindness 💕 you just put your body through a lot and it is probably holding onto water weight. Trust the process and keep following your plan. Also it can depend on your starting weight. The more you weigh the more you’ll lose. I didn’t like to weigh myself too often but after a month I’d say the weight loss was more consistent.

    Hello Dajana!
Fellow Canadian 🇨🇦🍁 here looking at weight loss surgery as I want to lose around 125 pounds. What are the resources that were most helpful to you? I always love watching your videos ❤

I googled a lot and then added “Reddit” to my questions lol so Reddit helped a lot and then just searched up Facebook groups but the support groups can be an echo chamber after a while. So best to go into those groups knowing that the ones who are posting about problems or complaining are the loudest and not the experience of the majority. Still the groups were helpful as you can find questions and other peoples experiences informative. Thanks for watching my videos! 💕

I also want to get skin removal surgery. I’ve had 4 pregnancies and lost + gained and lost multiple times. I’m currently saving for it but want to loose another 40 to 45 lbs.

Congrats on all the progress! It’s definitely been a long journey for me too. Sucks having to also get more surgery on top of everything thing else. I’m looking to do a full body make over lol not excited to see what it will cost.

Congratulations on getting to this point!! You look great! I too am making videos and in a way paying it forward to all the other people that were vulnerable enough to share their stories and knowledge. I didnt do the surgery yet but in the process. I would like to know your hospital experience in terms of how the surgery went, the clinics aftercare and information they gave you to be sucessful. (Although I wish you done in it in Canada, cause it's so hard for me to find someone from Canada that did it on UA-cam)

I wish I could’ve done it here in BC lol it would have saved me a lot of money but I just couldn’t wait. It was like a 5 year wait 😥 and doing it in another province was about 3x the cost of what I paid in Mexico. I could probably go into more detail in a video but my experience was amazing. Before during and after. That being said I am a self starter and over prepare so I don’t need my hand held and because I did it outside of the country I feel like you kinda need to be that way to advocate for yourself way more and be resourceful when you get home incase there are any issues. They give you information on what you need to look out for and what follow ups you should do after but essentially you are on your own once you are back home! Hope that helped I’ll make another video soon going into more details. But ask me any questions you like and I’ll try and answer the best that I can 💕
