Hi Jade! I start my last semester of hygiene school in January! I plan to start studying in the next week or so and your video was very helpful! I wanted to ask, do you have any experience with BoardVitals? We were recommended that as well along with our StudentRDH program.
Board vitals ask super difficult questions. I think student RdH or Andy are sufficient enough for this exam. I think vitals just overloads and stresses me out more.
How did you study for it? Did you just read off the book and went through the videos and quizzes? Or did you try to write down notes or flashcards?I am making flashcards and I feel like it’s time consuming

I did my schooling all in French so I know learning specific terms in English is going to be like learning stuff for the first time but I love what I do and I would like to continue my passion in the US. Hey Jade, thank you for this very informative video. I am going into my second year of DH and was wondering if I should sell my textbooks online or am I going to need them for the board exam preparations? I currently own Microbiology, A&P and 5 Dental hygiene related books.
@@himanshusharma5347 I personally did not use the class textbooks for board review as it is a lot of information. That is why it’s nice to get a board review book because the most important topics and facts are summarized!
How difficult was the exam from 1-10? Also what topic did you see more off? Like Perio or pharmacology or dental materials etc.. congratulations ❤btw love 💕 wish u lots of success 🦷 I want to my board around November😅

I was over prepared but I definitely have that personality haha out of 10 I would say it was a 6. Not hard but very comprehensive! I saw a good blend of everything but definitely know perio, oral pathology, and radiology for the case studies. Good luck!!!!!

@@zarifafazili4621 hi there! I am not sure when they release the 2025 version of the book but it should be soon! I would recommend waiting just in case they change any information from the different years. Definitely a good idea to start ahead of time to get familiar with the information and then really study hard as you get closer to your exam. Good luck!
@@cassielam979 student RDH was great! It had a ton of information so it definitely went over everything you need to know for the boards. The practice quizzes and mock boards were very helpful

Which option did you choose VIP or on demand ? Which would you recommend?
