      ***** Sir
      In the 沖縄の唐手 or Okinawan Karate Iron Body Training is called 体鍛え(からだきたえ) or Karada Kitae and in 中国武术 or Chinese Wushu is called 體鍛 or Tǐ Duàn.

    How does one get into this sort of training. I'm new to discovering this (via your videos) and I know you shouldn't just watch a video and ask a friend "hey do this as I try to take your strikes". Where's a good starting point?

    Amazing! How do you train your neck, do you hit with fists, with a board, a glass bottle? Also, is it healthy to train with glass? Been alternating wood block and a glass bottle for the past 6 months on all my bones, every other day. The ribs seem the hardest to develop to me, what do you think?

    • @kylesheets5663
      @kylesheets5663 10 років тому

      I don't train my neck, except for head stands, but I was told to use a glass bottle for shin bones n such, don't know if that's healthy for the neck though. Worried about even punching a neck nerve wrong, don't really know how to train the neck.

    • @RealKungFu
      @RealKungFu  10 років тому

      Dean Youngblood I agree NO GLASS!

    • @RealKungFu
      @RealKungFu  10 років тому +1

      I never train with glass! I do train with Wood Makiwara Boards, Canvas Iron Palm Bags, Tapping Wisks, Rolling Pins, Heavy Pipes, and Wooden Men!

    • @kylesheets5663
      @kylesheets5663 10 років тому

      So do you just keep hitting yourself in the neck to train it or what?

      You should see what the monks do to themselves. Many of them are able to hang themselves and balance on spears after years of training.

  • @kwak76

    Couldn't you do this to your face in theory? I mean slowly hit your face lightly and build it up over time.

  • @uncleho4999
    @uncleho4999 10 років тому

    and also kick to the balls is also part of iron body, why is he not showing that?

    For the average unfit people watching this video,you should have say... Don't try this at home!!!!

  • @trupacalist
    @trupacalist 3 роки тому

    Please do not practice hitting each other in the throat if you are watching this at home. It is a very dangerous practice, and very easy to cause serious injury or death if you do not understand what you are doing and how to do it. Also, Iron Body techniques should be administered by the self unless receiving formal training. Don't have other people hitting you, unless they have professional knowledge of what they are doing. One wrong move can result in a torn ACL, and broken knee, or a crushed or punctured larynx. Always practice the Iron body techniques with safety in mind first. Remember these practices are to STRENGTHEN the body, not to harm it.

    Those poses... I love most of your videos but this was wack. Those "strikes" to the ribs. Let's see someone sling a right hook in there. Leg kicks were powerless as well.
