The Pulsar indeed has a speed change. Notice that also - friction heat perhaps mixed with moisture. Not a deal breaker but it’s somewhat annoying. Fantastic overview video lemon boss .
Awesome triple threat video! Also a fellow Soldier 76 enjoyer I see 🔥 Might try out the Nyfter pad along with the Vancer Ice. Love my Skypad but would be interested to try them out
Yeah it's tough as a reviewer, you know of course, because we get to experience so many good products and then it becomes a bit same same for us.... The flip side tho is gamers have so many good options these days 👌
ya I just started using the p51 tonight and didnt notice it either. ill see over the next week or two. That said the boys said its a slightly different version of alpha cell and it does actually look different than Pulsars so might be more resistant to that
For me pads with a standard rubber base should be 4mm plus. If they use something like poron or alphacell 3 / 3,5mm is ok. Stitching, as long as nearly flat with the surface and soft enough to not irritate my skin (especially if it's smaller than 500x500), it's fine. I won't complain about better stitching but it's not that important to me. There are only 2 Pads coming to my mind where I was complaining about the stitching. Pulsar ParaBrake was too hard and irritating. Other one was the Spyre Kamek. It had a really obvs bad stitching. Base material is the least important of these three for me. I prefer pads between soft and mid. More to mid than soft. So a good rubberbase that is sticky enough works for me. Of course other base materials are interesting to test but not that important to use. A good, interesting fabric with a rubberbase wins against a bad or boring fabric on poron.
Stitching is a cool feature since the edges don't fray as soon and it's great to see most pads having stitched edges. Base isn't very important for me since they all perform similarly. Most important part of a pad for me is overall quality and how much I enjoy using it.
I gotchu fam amzn.to/3KO1tWq its a compression style sleeve, comes in different designs and 2 in a pack. super good value. I cut a hole in one of them to have it go over my thumb

Yeah something to look out for with alphacell bases for sure
Great video, roundups are definitely something worth doing to catch up on products 👌

Hey! Awesome to hear 😌

Do things like the stitching thickness or base material really matter to you in your mouse pad? Let me know!
