one think to note about these pads, if you have a NOT solid wood desk they dont stick at all and in fact are worse than normal rubber. Anyone with an IKEA idasen or a Bekant for example (i have idasen) will have this issue. I solved this by using a deskmat underneath and on top of it i have the ES1.
Awesome review! If I understood correctly, the ES2 feels faster overall than the Saturn Pro, right? How about the Vaxee PA Black and the Spyre Kamek, could you compare them please?
How does cleaning and maintenance compare between the es1 and es2? I like faster pads but more importantly I like to clean my pads easily (water and a towel for my current hybrid pad) and maintain consistent performance. With that in mind which is easier to keep clean and remain consistent over time?
Couple questions: 1.) How would you compare the ES2 to the OG Venus? 2.) So the ES2 glide feels faster than ES1 but still has the higher stopping power? Is that correct? Thanks!
#1 Es2 is not a hybrid pad at all, clothpad most similarly to the G-SR SE. #2 Es2 is a smooth clothpad but the initial friction & dynamic friction is strong. So it does have that "pulling" feeling in-game. My Es2 felt really great, skin-friendly and not a dirtypad at all. but would get SLIGHTLY abit abrasive to the usual mouse area. You can also feel the surface just get slightly affected by humidity by touch. I can feel the humidity temperature in between the weave surfaces but only very slightly. However I do not feel like it had affected the mousepad's performance or ever so far after 2 months of use. Most of my mice do have glass feet but it's a bad combination since the "pulling" friction of the pad gets nullified by glass feet. But with PTFE it's working wonders. It's been really the best pad that I easily prefer than my Artisan Zero, with using PTFE mousefeet atleast.
@@jsnagn3410 Hey, I actually ended up buying it not too long after my comment. The control is nice, but it’s definitely too slow for me and not my preferred surface. Will probably stick to hybrid pads or try out the Superglide glass pad. For me I did feel a difference when the temperature got hotter/more humid although it wasn’t terrible.
Yoo are you able to compare the ES2 surface to the Parabrake? I really like how smooth the parabrake is but texture kind of changes after a few washes and the stitching is a bit annoying. My fingers are always touching the mousepad when I play though so I don't like anything even remotely rough, very hard to find anyone who has used both pads and can explain
As always, insightful review! I'm not seeing the ES2 in black, only the Bruce Lee colorway. I would love to try the ES2 and the upgraded X2, but I just can't jump on the yellow. Bruce Lee has been dead for around 50 years now, still feels like a strange way to market mice and mouse pads LOL.
@@JtwasLuck I have the gamesense radar v2 4mm (word salad) and the PA black the es2 is coming into the mail but it got stuck the radar when worn in is a god pad for control, once the pa black breaks down a bit more i think it will be similar, the pa black is slower out of the box compared to the radar
@@MattL4J I have the V2 All Black Gamesense Radar, I mained it for a year. I wished it was 10-15% slower and more importantly I wanted the static/dynamic friction to be reversed. Recently I got the PA Black and man it's been my dream pad. I had a non-existent transition period which never happens when I switch pads but this thing is perfect for me.
I know this video has been out for a while but how does the speed compare to a steelseries qck heavy? I haven't tried the other pads its been compared to.
I mainly play CS GO, would you recommend this one out or should I opt for another option such as a Saturn Pro. I could only find the ES2 in stock that could ship in Canada so I am wondering what would be the best route since you've got both. Thanks for the review!
The ES2 and Saturn Pro are completely tied for me in terms of quality and performance. I don't think either one has the edge over the other, I would focus more on availability. If you can get the ES2 but not the Saturn Pro then do that. The biggest difference is sizing I should add.
If you are using the Rouge, the ES2 is very similar but quality is superior. I haven't used the Deep Blue versions sadly so I can't speak on that. ES1 I just don't recommend mainly due to the tugging issue I had.
@@ColossaI It's the oldschool black G-SR version. Well, I decided to get something a bit faster (Pulsar Paracontrol V2 to be exact). Thanks for the reply!
Hello, would you recommend the Es2 for someone who's coming from an og Saturn? I wanna try something slower than the Saturn because I find it to be too fast sometimes. Is the Es2 the one to buy?
I love it when pads react to pressure.
Pulsar sent me both, ES1 and ES2, and the ES2 became my main pad since then, insane quality and incredible performance.
is ES2 washable? my place accumulates dust often.
@@iankhimquinio9607 idk bro, probably not because of the base he uses.

i have a bekant and it sticks perfectly, try wiping the area with a damp towel and place the mouse pad before it dries thats what i did and it worked
Good review but your enthusiasm in the video is waaaay over the top.
Nice review brother
Excellent review as always!!
Great video.

@@jsnagn3410 hi have you tried washing ES2? what can you suggest on how to clean dust.
Saturn pro , es2 , or spyre kamek for tax shooters? Also out of the first two which is closest to kamek?
Could you do some reviews on the spyre mousepads?

Very informative as ever, how would you compare the ES1+2 speed-wise vs the Vaxee PA Black or the Gamesense Radar?
ES1 is faster than both and the ES2 is more similar to the Radar out of the two. Radar and PA are heavier though.
@@ColossaI Gotcha, I much prefer a slower glide looking for something in between the GSR and GSR-SE basically. I'll look into the ES2!

compare to gsr?
how u clean

do u have a venus and can u compare the venus to the es1? speed wise im looking for something faster but with the same x and y
If it's the regular Venus and not the Pro version, regular Venus would be more consistent and faster than the ES1.
THEY BOTH SLOWER THAN RAIDEN MID?
YES

If you prefer a performance like a G-SR with a strong yet balanced friction and the smooth gliding surface, yeah.
does the es2 feel faster than the ac zero?
Not by a lot but it does feel slightly faster but much more consistent imo
Is the ES2 faster than the Artisan Zero?
Yup
