this is why I always grease myself up before gaming so that I slide properly
:)
Facts homie
I’m happy someone brought up greasing. Frowned on in pro fighting but amazing for gaming. 🎉
Vaseline or Aquaphor?
Canola oil
I really enjoyed hearing some genuine thoughts on a sleeve. I was surprisingly interested for never once considering a sleeve. I'm trying out my drawing glove and wow, there is definitely a difference
Could you make a general ergonomics check list video? I think that'd provide a lot of value to the community. For instance, a compilation of answers to common questions (What should my chair height, desk height be? What's a proper mouse grip? How do I know I'm in good position? Should my elbow be on the desk. Monitor Height + distance, etc...)
I was considering doing it myself, but I don't feel qualified enough to do so.
i agree
Good idea and it's actually something I've been thinking about recently too. I've covered most things in separate videos, but I could compile it into one with the main recommendations and just have links to full videos if people want more info or direction on that particular step.
StruthGaming subdermal implants when?

Sleeves are honestly insane I love them they are just comfortable asf and friction is so consistent and low
just got my sleeve in from your store, super comfy and i never find myself adjusting it, and was great on a hot day! :D
been using sleeves for a long time for longevity of mousepads ordering one of your sleeves soon :D
using an artists glove with a sleeve is genius
Check out teflon glove from cisa
I use a glove bc I'm an artist and had it lying around haha
Bro gamers of the future are gunna be gearing up to play fortnite like their going to space.
If I were to design a chair, I would make it super lock in mod for consistent glide and positioning of devices on the table. It would slide in at a press of a button. Without human aligning issues.
The fact that professional have gotten to this point for aming optimization is amazing. I wonder how much potential is left with motion control vs mouse aiming as having to use a sleeve makes me think there is not much left for mouse.
Looks like I found explanation for some shirts feeling better, they have higher thread count making the surface smoother.
after using sleeves for half a year I can say that I now cant even open youtube without a sleeve it is just sooo good
I recently got into sleeves and found that the Artisan Zero is apparently notorious for not being good with them due to the weave of the pad. However I stumbled onto the fact that nylon does work with the pad. Interestingly enough the Pulsar sleeves are nylon and elastane and I can confirm they work good on the Zero and seem to be made well. Always down to try other products though so I'll give this one a try too and see how it plays out.
For people that don’t use full desk pads or don’t wanna wear sleeves just use a wrist glider lol. You just rest your arm or bottom of your palm on that and are free to glide . Also helps raise up your wrist for a more natural angle and less wrist pain
Good thing my arm never has to move enough to stick 😂😂
a big oversight i fear is the looseness of the sleeve causing inconsistent friction because of the sleeve catching the mouse pad when moving alot, i feel like thats why i prefer the skin tight feel
Will try this out when I play Valorant console later in the week
wait so youre gonna use a sleeve with a controller?
@@supplantermusic9413 maybe
I recommend the TJ exclusives Elite sleeves. Best sleeve for gaming
Nice, I've been using a long sleeve t-shirt in very much the same way. Sleeves come down instead of up when I go try hard mode.
just recently ordered one. was curious on where they ship from? ty ahead of time!
Huh I’ve never thought of using a glove/sleeve for gaming. I play accordion and people (myself included) commonly use a glove/sleeve on our left hand in order to be able to slide accurately while making jumps on the bass.
Sleeves are a lifesaver in the Okinawa humidity
MattyOW uploaded a video recently about the sleeve he uses. He mentioned a problem with the sleeve getting caught by the fiction and making certain arm motions inconsistent. I personally experienced that issue with PULSAR's arm sleeve as well. Did you consider that issue during the design of your sleeve?
great video, but i was in absolute shock when the url @ 7:00 popped up, I thought it said something else at the end there for a sec, idk if anyones ever said that before
I use them for years.. in winter warm and in summer no sticking on the mouse pad
Hey struth, just recieved mine and it is truly one of the most comfortable ones I've used (have about 5 or 6) however I do have some gripes. 1. The end. I find the rubbery part at the back is always super uncomfortable and causes itching and always end up snipping the end off with scissors. This is an issue with quite a few sleeves it seems. 2. The middle stitch. Obviously this is something that is very hard to avoid and fix, but this thing irritates me like hell. The only one who seems to have done it right is the pulsar one which also has it's own issues.
just got mine - koala and swirl, today. I have more than 10 sleeves because of the area I live in. This brand for this price is absolutely better than the arm sleeves I have.
I find sleeves are only helpful on hard or hybrid pads. For cloth pads, fabric on fabric causes too much friction.
My go to sleeve is Nelson Wear iM Sports Sleeve. Got mine a few years back and the glide still holds up on my Shidenkai V1.
Hey struth.... Could u make a video on how to use wrist and arm to track an enemy where u might have to turn 180 degrees tracking the enemy!?
Boardzy would disagree hahaha i use one. I NEEED to. I sweat like a beast my arm sticks to EVERY.SINGLE.MOUSPAD.
It really sucks when when a mouspad doesnt play well with my sleeve tho
I used to use an arm sleeve all the time until I got a Carpio G2.0...it changed my life, can never go back
I dont like sleeves because I find the Y-axis friction of any mousepad to be too rough on a sleeve; and I cant aim on glass. Do you know any cloth pads that have 1:1 ratio X and Y friction?
Commenting so I also get a notification when someone finds such a pad
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe X Ray Equate is what you're looking for
@@x2Sav I've heard that too, but havent gotten the chance to test it yet
@WisdomPowerCourage I use the Artisan Hayate Otsu I'm not sure about the ratio but it's friction maybe what you're looking for
@@x2Sav Otsu is not 1:1 unfortunately, but ty
hoodie with aiming sleeves lmao yall are too far gone bruh wtf
What are your thoughts on monitor distance coefficient setting and what to use?
I for sure need a glove. My clammy hands make my aim look bad at close range gun fights
@StruthGaming ,
I am lefthanded, do you know if those sleeves are always for both arms or just specific for the right one? Every picture is just wearing on right arm
Was It a Komala on a black sleeve at 2:40?
Hey man any chance of making your sleeves with a thumb hole?
Can certainly look at doing it in the future. I'd like to tackle that design in a way that keeps the palm of the hand free so gripping the mouse doesn't feel so bad.
Ahh that’s a shame it’s always my palm that gets stuck to my glass pads
@@Mellch7 I moreso meant the middle of the palm so you can still grip the mouse properly. If I were to make one with a thumb hole I'd have it cover the base of the palm.
@@StruthGaming Yea the bae of the palm coverage would be great, tried normal sleeves without that and my hand just gets stuck to my glass pad. Also love the clawmates, keep up the amazing work!
just create your own hole bro i used scissors on all mine worked perfectly
What mice could you recommend for 21x12 hands? I haven't been able to find a comfortable mouse, alot are just super small
Hey just curious I just bought a sleeve how long do you think it will take to ship?
0:11 what is the name on that white sleeve
does your sleeve works with artisan zero? I spent 200$ on sleeves and found only 2 rn
Need PTFE Gloves STAT!
Bit off topic, are you stock piling the G303se? seems like it's starting to be hard to find.
Would you benefit from any sleeve, or does it have to match to your pad?
FACT: arm sleeves increase aim assist and really make you FEEL like you're aiming on your own
Hard pad and gaming sleeve. Changed my life. I use a tj exclusive hard pad in speed version for fps and "¡Hasta la vista, baby!"
My arm and hand don't touch the mousepad at all lol
i've been converted
Are basketball sleeves same as these right?
Hey, what sleeves works in artisan zero? or any pad that is similar to that which catches the fabric of the sleeves which slows it down, does pulsar sleeves or focus gaming sleeves works for it?
Anyone know of a sleeve which is compatible with Artisan FX Zero soft?
You'd basically have to find a sleeve that has teflon attached to it. Since the weaving pattern of the pad is horizontal you can kind of get away with wearing the sleeves inside out, but they still stick to the pad when you move vertically.
what game is this?
What are the blue grips he uses on the mouse?
Bro i ordered your mouse grip things and they never came plz help
Sorry to hear that, could you please send me an email at struth@struthgaminggear.com with your order number and i'll help you out.
31 usd shipped to the US is too much in my opinion especially against competition, i bet its a great product tho
On a glass mousepad, they're literally required
Would you consider making more designs and sizes?
For sure, is there a particular size missing that you'd like? Currently have S/M/L but can look into more for the next batch.
@@StruthGaming Sorry didn't mean size, rather different styles like the ones that cover your hands as well, much like how you recommended the artist glove paired up with a normal sleeve.
Edit: Seems like you answered this question already in another comment. Thanks for responding, though!
Trying to play in Texas where the humidity can be all over the place really just ruins playing games for me, so I am most definitely going to pick up one of yours, just was wanting to know if I should wait a bit for new designs and styles.
Thanks, but I'll stick to my Wii-mote and cheat software.
glad i wrist aim 30cm/360
How big are your hands man that G303 lookin' like a toddler toy.
Does it make a difference when buying if you are left or right handed?
if it just goes over the arm no it shouldnt
Negative, there's no difference.
Thanks
My main problem with sleeves was always the different friction speed on x and y axis. Rly obvious on pads like artisan zero. One other would be that my arm is placed diagonally usually, and with sleeve it often results to be very weird glide
ok that clip at 1:12 thats cheating bro how tf does one accomplish that kinda flicking skill on cassidy 4 headshot kills in a row is insane that is some really good aim
I love in the uk bro, 60% is average. My solution? Just stop giving a fuck.
I will never wear these goofy things
For people who take first person shooters seriously they make a difference.
I live in a humid environment and sweat a lot, using sleeve instantly boosts all my kovaak scores by 20%
Their not meta still goofy😭
Using 'their' instead of 'they're' is goofy
*laughs in artisan zero*
