That was the most excellent video and just what I needed!! Struggling to decide on first RV between 32 foot class A and 25 foot B+… afraid one too big and one too small, and also worried about towing! You have definitely made me feel this doable! Strongly leaning to B+ as initial travels will be more exploring, and this was great! Thanks so much!
Let me give you a little more insight. We started with a Winnebago Via ( Sprinter Chassis, 26 foot). We thought maybe we needed bigger. Traded for a 36 foot Thor Palazzo on a Freightliner chassis. Mistake ! Limited maneuverability, places we could not go and just more van than we needed. Ended up with the LTV Unity Murphy Bed. Solved the someone climbing over someone in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom problem. We can go anywhere we want because we can maneuver . As for a Towed. Concerned about weight we started with a Jeep Sport two door. While we had the Freightliner we got a Jeep Rubicon 4 door. Much heavier. When we switched back to the the LTV Sprinter we still had both Jeeps. I hooked up the Rubicon and the Sprinter handled it just fine. The Maverick put me back into a pickup truck and it is lighter than either Jeep so I am pleased with the change. A Sprinter chassis (diesel) will handle most Toweds you want to pull.

Having a Roadmaster tow system hooked up to my 2024 Maverick & 2019 Winnebago View. Lazydays of Nashville/Murfreesboro is doing it. It was supposed to take 3 days & we're well into 3 weeks now. They can't figure out how to synchronize the lights. The Maverick is my every day driver so you can imagine my frustration. The Facebook View/ Nation group is an excellent source for information. They suggested an adapter which was then ordered from Amazon as Roadmaster was backordered . It's supposed to arrive next week. My fingers are crossed.
My Lariat Hybrid could be here this month or next. Who did your Roadmaster install? What did you choose for your lighting? Lastly, did you buy the towbar knuckles from BlueOx or Roadmaster? I have your same tow bar. Did you tap the continuous 12v from the fuse box and, is so from which, or elsewhere. Promoting your excellent video on the Maverick Truck Club towing forum. Kudos!
A local installer that I have used on three vehicles now did the installation . They obtained all necessary parts including the towbar knuckles so I am not sure which company they came from, but I would assume Roadmaster. I also cannot tell you where they tapped for the electricity, I only provided that I wanted the Maverick battery to charge through the seven pin and they assured me it would. If you are doing your own install I’m afraid I am not much help there. Beyond my pay grade! Thanks for the praise.
Thanks. I went with the Maverick because it is all the truck an old guy like me needed. Just glad to have a truck again. Actually the Maverick is lighter, less expensive and you can tow the automatic version.
I'd love to keep using Roadmaster products (I've installed several of their baseplates), but having to destroy the Active-shutter system on the Maverick to install their baseplates causes me too much warranty concern. Blue Ox has ugly cutouts to deal with...but it leaves the shutters alone.
Very good video.Who did the tow installation on Maverick.I have a '23 in Venice, Fla and plan to tow behind a Coachouse 272 Platinum IV RV just ordered.Great alternative to LTV.Built on E450 Ford Chassis with great weight capability.Coachouse been in business 30+ years quality small B+ RV's.
Robert thanks for the great video. Why can only the hybrid be towed but not the regular eco boost? I was looking at the eco boost as its a few hundred pounds lighter. Also when you say you must start it to lubricate system. Does that mean just let it idle> i dont have to drive it around and have to reconnect i hope
It is strange the maverick can be flat tow as it is based on the Bronco Sport which cannot be flat towed. Ford confirmed the Bronco Sport cannot be flat towed.
Great video. Once switched into Neutral tow and ignition turned off, does the Maverick accumulate road miles into it's odometer? Or does the odometer stay at mileage prior to being placed into neutral tow?
Thank You. It is called a Duraflap. You can look them up online and you want the motorhome versions, not just the Sprinter Versions. My installer got it for me.
Hello. I also tow the Maverick behind my RV. How do you get the running lights on when in dark or bad weather? DO you just manually turn the maverick dial to lights on instead of auto?
If you had.a Maverick tow package with recovery hooks, would they allow you to tow on the highway without the front modifications, or are they not designed for that?

A & A Trailer Hitch on Highway 64 in Bradenton. I have used them 3 times, all with good results.
Towing capacity on the Mercedes is usually 4,200lbs. But not sure about the total capacity

Only the hybrid ecvt powertrain Maverick can flat tow. I don't think there is a hybrid bronco sport.

The odometer does not accumulate the miles. Good question!

They are operated by the hookup, just like a trailer. No need to do anything. They act like the Rv.
Like the maverick decal you have on front fender where'd you get it?
Esty. It was actually part of a pin strip by LUDesigns. I cut away all but the “Maverick” and put it on the fender. I liked it better that way.
Not many vehicles are "towable" the Maverick is.... look theze facts up when you purchase a RV...
The Hybrid maverick at least. The non hybrid one might not be towable.
