🔴Can the 2025 Ford Maverick finally be "flawless Maverick"?🤔
🏆8 Reasons Why Toyota Stout WILL REVOLUTIONIZE the Small Truck Segment 👉ua-cam.com/video/Au3J-VBahJU/v-deo.html
Great when will the stout be available and when will it be USA approved? I am willing to wait 6 to months for the stout
@@danielpilachowski2424 There is no official plan for the Stout, it's all hearsay
Hope this becomes Reality and just isn't Speculation
And the affordable entry level $27,000 Maverick XL AWD now becomes the $40,000 Maverick XL AWD. They jabbed a fork into the very thing that made the Maverick a great compact pickup truck. Its value price and performance utility.
That’s what happens when we’re supporting two wars. Inflation
Hey need to pay for all those EV losses. 🙃
@@DEEZEEMTB Exactly. 🎯
Well if they can make more profits just by renaming the truck its an easy cash grab even being built in Mexico with low pay for the work done ford is doing everything a company can do to make more profit
Wait until 2025. The new maverick “Lobo” will be stupid expensive!
So they've made the only affordable Ford...unaffordable. Brilliant.
Noooo! The retro look of these is the exact reason I liked it! This video should be called why you should hurry and buy the 2024 model.,
If you are offended by the exterior and interior design of the current Maverick, you don’t “love the Maverick” 😂
Yes ... I don't
Bells and whistles…bells and whistles. $40,000. NO ONE WANTS bells and whistles! Consumers NEED a affordable truck that is reliable and dependable!
Old Baby Boomers wants bells and whistles. Money ain't worth nothing to us. Can't take it with you
Those of us gen X and millennials who weren't lucky enought to be born with everything handed to us on a silver platter would prefer affordability.
@@junkbot2.1 I would expect that response from a Gen x / millennial. I bet you typed that response from your mommy's basement. Well I can tell you I worked for 80 cents an hour when I was young. I worked in a factory most of my life and worked every hour of overtime available including thanksgiving and Christmas. I was given nothing, and inherited nothing so don't flatter yourself with BS. I do have millennial children and that is why I am spending my money and giving them what was given to me. I sure hope your parents leave you what you are intitled to $0.00 I love my fully loaded Lariat Maverick :)
“Depressing place to sit”?
$27,000 and 40 MPG is the ultimate anti depressant.
outdated look? 3 years in? who says the other ones look cool? Loving my 2024!
I have the 2024 too...I really like it.
When this truck came out 2 years ago the starting price was just below $20,000 and affordable for so many. Now I see it quickly becoming unaffordable for so many people just like any other pickup truck.
2024 for the win. 2025 looks like its not a maverick anymore
Pay attention to Jeep and Toyota. You can’t just add 10k or more because you feel like it.they will sit unsold on lots.
Stopped to look at Tacomas the other day. I was actually laughing at the msrp on these.
Over 40k for a base model with a turbo 4??
No thanks.
add bells and whistles to justify jacking up the cost.
The lack of bling is what made the Maverick appealing. Did Ford forget that the original Maverick car was an ECONOMY model of utility and simplicity. All the Maverick really needs is hybrid AWD for those living in adverse climates. Performance, really, how about a manual tranny for those who want some adventure.
Sad our only manual truck option is a taco and they're now priced out of everyday car shoppers. Heck a used 3rd gen manual tacos average is 35k near me.
just bought the 2024 XLT in March and not one single "upgrade" in this video would have enticed me to wait until 2025
Raptor doesnt belong on the maverick. But a ST version does
Yup. 2.3 eco-boost engine, awd, with a 6-speed manual
They need to build one with roll up window and a 5 speed manual
Sure glad I bought my 2024 Maverick Lariat. The 2025 sounds a lot like my loaded truck features but my truck has most all the bugs worked out of it. With Ford you always want to buy the last year model before they re-design it. The 2.0 Echo has plenty of power and I get 28mpg combined. A lot of the changes they are making is going against the original concept that made it so popular.
Bingo!
I can see it clearly now. In a few years, when the Maverick is as big as the F-250 dually, Ford will introduce a new small pickup. Get ready for the - - - - Pinto Pickup! A 3-foot bed, exploding gas tank, 13 inch wheels, and more! Only $49,999.95.
(Optional equipment includes seats, 3 speed shifter on the column, roll up windows, and bumpers.)
The interior is what I liked. Functional, plain, lower tech. Perfect.
Didn’t know the rear had headlights good to know
I love my 2022 Maverick XL AWD !! The looks, the simplicity. If the 2025 goes to $40000... you might as well buy a 2024 F-150 XL regular cab! Only $3000 more , has the coyote engine, and all the bells and whistles of the XLT/Lairat Maverick.
All these changes are just going to equal higher price, I hope Ford realizes the price and basic simplicity of this truck are the key selling points and why they are so popular, I'ts because they are so affordable, If the price climbs and people start thinking "you know for xx dollars more I can get Tacoma, Colorado, Canyon, Ranger, and it will have more interior room and bigger bed and hauling/towing capacity anyways" then the Maverick is in trouble.
So glad I decided to get the 24 model! I got it for MSRP 😃
My dealer says it will start at 30k+ for base model
I live my 2024 I bought in February but for sure a better interior and adaptive cruise control will be on my next one.
These trucks are fuckin cool plain and simple and great fuel economy. 40 mpg average I have a hybrid.
Love the interior refresh. Not sold on the exterior refresh. Wish there was a 2 seat longer bed version tho.
I would consider the Maverick but everyone knew prices would rise after the introduction and the massive pay raises the labor unions felt workers needed 100 grand a year.
I don’t think Mexican workers got those pay raises.
Some people are too picky… I can’t wait for my blue xl 2024 maverick to ship
How long will it take to arrive and when did you order it
Affordable, yeah right! Bring me the Toyota Hilux Champ!
Production issues from too many? Really? They shut down orders for the 23 and 24 trucks within a day of offering the truck. They could easily sell 10x as many if they wanted to.
Then they would cut into sales on the over priced darling the f150.
So sounds like I'm glad I got a '24 maverick. The only thing I'd like is the longer bed...but not with the still full cab. Give me my 90's ranger back ffs
Forget the plug-in EV version.
The interior looks great as is and if people that don't like shouldn't bat one
Wow a new interior! For 10 minutes. Have you seen an msrp on the truck? Look at the piles of broncos laying around. They had the ability to spin up production all along. Still looking forward to it.
After watching this viedo, I am sold Maverick 2024.
Ford, keep it simple… this trucklet is brilliant and so appealing due to its simplicity, price, and efficiency. You already raised the base hybrid price 5k, now it’s getting more interior tech and luxury?? This is the problem with the entire industry.
why did they say headlights when the video showed the tail lights ?
Who is the editor ?
They should offer the Maverick in Europe too.
They are probably going to raise the price $5-7k.
I am a Ford guy but can I please get a truck that is not a "do everything" car truck thing. Make the F-150 affordable again!
I'm glad that my 24 mav suits me ans me only...
So, are they saying the 300HP AWD sport truck is going to be over 40K? So, Ford just made a 4 door Syclone and the dealers will mark it up to 50K. It will take a year or two to even be able to afFORD one. Aside from the screen update the Lariat with the Black Appearance and Onyx Active X seats were rather nice with the addition of the 18" wheels. All the 24 really needs is lowered because the 250 HP is really plenty for something this small.
I'm sure the Lobo will get flappy paddles for the auto Trans, and they will skip the 6-speed Manual. I suppose they could doom it and put a CVT in it.
I would say buy the 24 models now. Next year Ford just jack up the price with unnecessary upgrades.
Take a shot every time "baffled" is uttered.
Not available in Aust, and the price now will seal the deal
10 years ago, you could get a brand new f150 for the price of a new maverick. You give me them more of your money and they give you less truck.
Faster built. Faster to you, so it can break down sooner
People are increasingly wanting a pick up truck that gets good gas mileage of course they’re gonna try to capitalize on that when they’re big ones won’t sell they still want that money and they’re gonna try to sell it for as much as they can
Need to get rid of the CVT transmission. Waiting for Toyota and Mazda to come out with their competitors.
Cvt is only on the Hybrid, isn't it? Thought the turbo had an 8 speed auto
You are right RC. I own one of each version I show in my videos. The hybrid is practical, the turbo AWD is FUN and fast. The AWD trans is more smooth and responsive than the eCVT. Hwy mpg is not much different than the hybrid.
It's not a cvt transmission, it's an Ectv transmission and they are more reliable than the transmission in the eco boost maverick
I have same engine/battery combo in a 2010 fusion hybrid.....192,000 miles......no problems
Quality is the worst problem Ford has, and with Toyota getting ready to enter the small truck market in the U.S., they better get that under control or Toyota will crush them. Not to say Toyota hasn't had quality issues with the new Tundra, which is a total bomb, their new "trucklet" is going to be based o the new Rav-4 which will undoubtedly have it's stuff sorted out. And there's no doubt that the Toyota's hybrid powertrain will be the best in the business.
Order now for 2025...., still waiting on my 2024. 🤨
I tried. They are still taking 2024 orders. I was told by multiple dealers that they haven't released any 2025 specs yet and will probably continue 2024 orders into September.
There is little incentive for manufacturers to produce a plug in hybrid or any electric vehicle before the 2025 year model. Because, they cannot use the Tesla charging plug (NACS) until 2025. And it is painfully obvious to see that no customer wants to buy an electric vehicle that they cannot plug in, using the world's largest and most reliable network.
Ford can already use Tesla chargers.
STUNNING CHANGES MEANS A STUNNING PRICE INCREASE
Will they put the Hybrid engine back to no extra charge?
Hybrid engine will be a $7500 option so they can milk all the rebate money from customers.
I hope for remembers the selling point of the maverick is its affordability. Make them another 40k vehicle and most will pass
The marketing team at Ford don't know how to use existing line ups with their lineup. LOBO? Really Ford. Should be called ST. You have FX4, Tremor, so added a ST makes sense, NOT LOBO! I swear marketing people just say stuff to say stuff. In regards to the AWD on the hybrid trim, to keep it simple just go mechanical AWD hybrid. Works great and you can get all the power mechanically to all four corners. Com' on FORD outside engineers can figure this out!
Ford Lobo has always been around in Mexico
@@eddiecavazos8404 Point being is the Lobo is the F-150, You market it as the F-150 in all markets. This is such a waste of time and energy calling the same product different names.
The 2024 Maverick looks better than the 2025
Change needed is hybrid awd slightly longer bed ok
What a terrible idea to introduce a plug in hybrid. The regular hybrid will go hundreds of kms in city without needing to charge. By adding a plug in, hwy will be terrible and city will be limited. Not to mention now outfitting your home to charge.
Plug in hybrids can still work like regular hybrids. Once the EV only range runs out or if you need a sudden burst of full power, it becomes a regular hybrid.
@@anthonyrowland9072 yah but the added weight of the battery or batteries kills the fuel range once they tiny bit of 35kms roughly runs out then for the other few hundred kms, you're stuck with bad range. Why plug in when you can just get a straight hybrid that runs off battery power without needed to plug in.
@@joshuarittenhouse4938It does both.
Got to seeing the touch screen ac controls and said nope and backed out. I had that once and promised myself never again. So annoyingly slow
Just to be on the safe side I’ll waste for the 3025.
“Buddins”? Bad enough to use a reader bot. Why pick one that sounds like it has a sinus infection?
It states that the Lobo will be a "street.......... truck." Fecas? What?
I am completely happy with my '23 Lariat EcoBoost. I had no desire for the hybrid version and even less for a plug-in hybrid.
So my 2023 is already looking outdated? What is wrong with you!
I would have gone with Grabber instead of Lobo
I think they were trying to play on Low Boy but in Spanish it's Wolf.
My wallet is happy with my 2024 XLT.
For that price I will buy a Toyota Scout
Use invalidated everything that you’re trying to argue for. There is no market out there asking for a plug-in hybrid.
Not true! I'm hoping they really come out with an affordable plug-in soon.
This video is a bunch of crap.
I have 2023 Red Ford Maverick Tremor and it’s fantastic.
Only issues:
Needs a front bumper capable of putting a bumper guard.
Needs sound on bind spot and lane keeping.
That’s it.
I'm all in for the plug-in hybrid model!
Really wish video scriptwriters would use Grammarly or hire an editor. UA-cam is awash with bad grammar and clumsy narratives.
No thanks. They will just jack the starting price up and you'll pay more. Don't wait. Buy now while they're still affordable.
I will never buy a plug in hybrid. HORRIBLE. I want a regular hybrid. I don't want to have to look around for non-existant EV charging station. Horrible.
I predict the 24 models are now going to increase in price due to demand, not wanting a 25 model.
Never by a small ford truck or any legacy maker small truck. Save yourself a lot of headaches and buy a Toyota.
You need to get a tripod
My old 8' bed with a camper shell makes weekend camping with a cot and full-size mattress a breeze. Now I can't even buy an 8'. Need at least a 6.5' with a built in shell that doesn't leak and has side windows with screens. No need for crew cap just enough extended to fit my ice chest and stove. Nobody care about how easy the short tour camping guy with no dang travel trailer needed for deep woods 4x4. It would be the bomb for some of us. G friends always liked the roughing it with a bed just fine. Already getting ready for the woody or the woods rather
yall keep buying it they will keep selling it at that price or more...
Sorry but to me ... There was absolutely Nothing that was impressive with the First Generation of the Maverick. All things that Sounded Great on paper ... in Reality were Not. Maybe just Maybe this refresh will be the Truck that I was Expecting.
LEAVE IT ALONE!! This train of thought is exactly the problem, these changes only add to the price… what happened to the Hybrid $19,995 price? The stupidity of the manufacturers is unbelievable…
Consumers were ONLY Aching for an inexpensive truck… now that is history, really sad
Sounds like Ford is going to do what Ford has done for decades. (And Chevy and Chrysler too.) You come out with a great idea that millions of people want - and then you screw it up. The old TV commercials from the 50s and 60s are playing in my head . . . longer, lower, and wider. Bigger engines, bigger bed, bigger tires, etc., etc., etc. Why? This Maverick is already bigger than the Chevy pickup we had at our shop in California in 1968. If people want a bigger truck, then buy the F150 or some other stupid large McMansion on wheels.
Bs just manufacturers need to make afforded small trucks and cars tht are not junk people cannot afforded these expenses trucks with the prices of everything so high
Nice truck. I would like to see a PHEV Toyota Stout.
this video kinda stunk...
Then...6 Reasons You Should Wait For 2026 Ford Maverick (Don't Buy 2025!?)
Nobody wants to plug 💩 in leave it alone .
This is a bad yuppy take.
I can give 60 reasons not to buy it in 2025. WhoopTDo.
They can keep their overpriced piece of junk.
Total junk !
The 2025 is f’n ugly and wasn’t even shown on this video! I’ll happily stick to my 2024 Mav
