- Let me take some time to write down on how this car made me feel the 2 days I had it.
I drive pretty much all possible AUDIs, and all the new ones. As much as I absolutely love how for example the new RS4/5 feel and drive an handle, there was something magical these two days with the V8 RS5 B8.5. It made me smile. Every single time. That sound, the up shifts and the downshifts, the way it looks and the way it feels. This car has soul. I think the word “soul” is disappearing more and more in newer cars, unfortunately. So, the B8.5 Audi RS5 is one of the last breed to have soul, and if you ever get a chance of owning one, Do it!

Tarik Ziadi yeah and thats because it has an 6.3l Engine. Mostly N/A Motors don‘t produce much torque but it’s not needed, it’s Not a Diesel !

Ran into one last week and we had fun. Not as fast in straight line as a c63 from same time but I gotta say it sounded so great, and with a character. Like the title said, it got a soul.

That is one handsome RS5! I have a white 2015 RS5 Cabriolet with the black optics/sport exhaust package. I also own a 2018 SQ5 as my daily driver, it just doesn’t put a smile on my face every time I press ‘Start’. I have to agree the B8 4.2 l V8 RS is the last Audi with soul, the new ones do nothing for me.
For me 1996 to 2015(end of b8 gen) was the golden age of Audi Cars. Almost everything could be a manual, the sick 4.2 v8, and not to mention biturbo v6. Awesome years.
Awesome car! I have the A5 V6 Quattro with manual gearbox as cheaper on fuel but an awesome sound and fantastic drive too. Love the body on this one though!

Rs5 don't come in manual transmission. If you drive a dual clutch gearbox wouldnt be complaining. Do you still light fire using stone and rock or do you use lighter?

My friend just talked me into buying a 2013 RS5 and I'm ever so grateful that he did because now being a Newby to audi and I like it over are maserati sq4. The seats are amazing .The car is air-tight and so responsive and smooth ..I drive in dynamic and in Sport mode and the fact it has a launch n the force is incredible.. They are insane ..I'm working my way up to more advanced ones, but for now got mine for 14,500 with 100 thousand miles and the guy had just brought it to audi due to a coolent line bust and put in 8200 into the cat cause he loved it so much but whoever has an audi in here knows what I mean especially if you have the supercharged engine with turbo tfsi engine ..Car is air tight you feel as if you are in a ufo ..The steering wheel is like a video game seats make me just wanna drive so comfortable n the smoothness tight crisp cornering even going high speeds is insane.. Germans beat Italian cars handsdown

I had a 1993 Mustang. It was really fun. I had 1978 Z28, it was fast, but spun a lot, got a genny 3.8 spins as well , and finally i bought an audi tts Quattro is grips like nothing else will never go back to rear wheel again 😅

@@GHN1013 The r8 will always be a dream car of mine. The 2012-2016 A6's were the prettiest in my opinion. Very classy elegant looking sedans. There was no rs8. There was a8, and s8, and s8 plus.

I had the last of the V8 S5 in 2012. Great cars on a straight line going to 130 mph on the highway, but front nose heavy on the twisty road even with the rear wheel differential.

Felix XD the S5 had a manual but not the RS5, if you want a car to be as fast as it can be then an auto is the only option.

such an amazing car...driven a couple of these and regret not having purchased one. Decent acceleration and revs to the moon with an intoxicating intake/exhaust note....nice work Audi! It's unfortunate Audi has made the decision to stop new engine production in their vehicles and they're focusing on electric powertrains. If you own a V8 RS5...don't sell it!

Question, is that red interior stock or custom? Ive never seen an Audi RS5 with full red leather seating from the 2013-2015 era. Its usually with the Red and Black seating.

Falk M I got DGS now after driving many car on manual so yeah good but sorry in light traffic areas manual all the way.
Minus a few ugly mods, it is a really great car but as far as RS-s go, I like the B8 RS4 even more (though a pre-facelift A5 without any body kits is in my opinion the most beautiful car ever).
