I use ReTyre and you don’t need to spray half a bottle per tire. 3-4 sprays, spread it with a detail brush and let it start to pull the dirt out or just right away with the tire brush. Specially as maintenance, 3 sprays is enough for me per tire. Comes down to technique

Seemed excessive to me too. I for sure thought he went through half the bottle on that one tire. I think he did it just for the video to show the effectiveness. I'm going to pick up both of these products in the future. I still searching for a cleaner that can completely remove tire dressing from Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Not sure what in the rubber compound makes them difficult to remove old water based dressing but, the tire cleaners I've used aren't cutting through.

@@DasJav I’m also gonna pick up a bottle of ADS Tire Cleaner and test it out! The over use of product goes to both products in my opinion. Now, definitely if I have to do a double application because I use less, am I saving money and time? No. I dont like to see all that product run down the tire and when you go to brush the tire it all flies down too. Kinda like foaming a car and foaming over the foam again and again. Doesn’t pull more dirt, just has more clean foam running down. Great visual we all love, but not effective for it’s purpose
I do also wanna try ReTyre with the ADS sprayer which CarPro now uses on their products now too as the standard spray on like Reload for example. So I already have some at home.

When I 1st started detailing my car, I had trouble getting the wheels as clean as I'd wanted. After carefully watching your detailing videos and investing in wheel cleaning tools, my wheels and tires look awesome! Just wanted to share that I washed my car today and used the TW Graphene Flex Wax as my drying agent. My car looks FABULOUS!!!! I plan on getting a polisher soon so that I can get that incredible gloss and shine that you get on the cars in your vids. I want my ride to gleam while I cruise the highways and byways. It's on the road 10 hrs a day and parked outside all year and the soap we use comes out of the nozzle at a PH of about 9-10. Nice video, i usually just stick to my P&S brake buster as I don't always dress the tires (usually 2* per year, so the old dressing is most likely worn down already for 90+%).
Would be interesting to see compared to a really cheap product with same Ph value (although this is already good in price), as the brush you use is quite sturdy. One could argue the fact that basic product with same Ph (for the dressing) might be sufficient as the brush does most of the work. This is of course a different scenario than paint, where you don't use a brush or pressure to clean.
Wondering if you always use that much product, i think a little less will still do the job and save a few pennies which will add up over time :)

Maybe this is a bad example but if one tire cleaner can take off peanut butter and jelly and the other cleaner can only take off peanut butter if you apply them to the same side, you’ll get the same results but if you switch sides you’ll see the jelly come off of the other side.

I've been hearing a lot of good things lately about Armour Detail Supply. Simple, economical, and more importantly, a product that works. A detailing enthusiasts dream! I want to try their new HERO rinseless. I have watched a few reviews and everyone who has used it says it's a good one. You would be proud of me Pan, I started my spring "deep cleaning" and detailing of my 370Z. I do a full and complete 28 step detail to my car once per year, whether it needs it or not! LOL. I'm talking full decon, iron remover, clay towel, tar remover, citrus degreaser, acid descale wash, and finally a thorough washing with Griot's Foaming Surface Prep (one of the best decon soaps on the market in my opinion), full engine detail, full interior detail and steam clean with fabric and carpet extraction, leather cleaning and coating, full two-stage polish with Polishangel products which I absolutely love using, and then two coats of Polishangel Viking Coat which is like a sealant on steriods almost to the durability of a ceramic coating but much easier to use, apply, and remove, again, in my opinion. It leaves a super slick finish and then I usually maintain it all with either Polishangel Viking Spritz (which is the companion product to Viking Coat) or I use the Lustre/Jet combo from NV Car care. It's a garage kept car that's only used so often as it's a toy so the Viking Coat works perfectly for it. It's gosh awful pricey, almost to the point of lunacy, but I do love those Polishangel products! I have the majority of their line up of products which I have amassed over the years and I love everything they make. Hope you have a wonderful summer Pan.
