My wheels are carbon force ceramic coated and I clean them with Diablo and use extreme shine on tires. No lie the shine stays up to 3 weeks and if there’s no rain it can last more than that!
I've used most of your wheel cleaning products but the best I have used is your All Clean Citrus Based Super Cleaner. Added bonus is that if you buy a gallon and dilute, it will last years. I do clean my wheels weekly and that makes cleaning them a lot easier.
Thanks for your video. I didn't know that brake dust could mess up a rim. I don't have custom rims just stock steel rims. So I guess the brake dust can eat off the paint on stock painted rim. Live and learn. Thanks again.
Thanks so much. I just bought the brush and it worked great. I also have a all black passport lol. I will be purchasing your products now. I may regret buying an all black suv though lol. Cheers from 🇨🇦
This video came right ontime... Since I too have a Black Honda Pilot with the same coating on the wheels. I just have to go back and watch to get the NAMES of each product and tool. You should list all of them for each video, it would make it easier for us.
I have aluminum wheels on my daily driver. Up to this point, I've just been spraying glass cleaner on my microfiber cloth and cleaning it that way. I haven't noticed any negative side effects so far. How would these products be more beneficial than what I've been doing thus far? Thank you guys for any feedback.
…if a car owner applies ceramic coating to the wheels, he/she doesn’t have to worry about the issues that you’d mentioned about brake dust impacting the wheel finishing.
May 7th, 1983, Students from Carroll High School, Yakima, Washington, USA, washed 3,844 cars in eight hours for the Guinness Book of World Records for a "Team", 40 years they have held the world record, can Chemical Guys beat this?
🤩🤩You guys need to really make all these sprays do more foam so they are visible when sprayed on tires and rims because liquid is invisible when on a fly and on a tire top number one things all products should have more foamy sprays and max possible fruity smell if possible :)
Love it. Chemical Guys brother, I do have one question. What are the Chemical guys products good for powder coated Glossy Black wheels? Can you please let me know?
Very nice and thorough cleaning. I am new at this, so I have few dilemmas: 1. If I am going to rub rims, could i just use car shampoo? 2. Some people report that rim cleaners are too aggressive for breaks and discs. Corrosion, or some other unwanted effect, appears. What is the safest for breaks and discs? I assume ph-neutral car shampoo? Or maybe even regular soap?
Hello, great video! I was thinking of purchasing your products! I wanted to know, do I wash my car first and then clean my tires? Or clean my tires first then wash my car? And can i use all your products you just provided of my 2023 honda crv sports hybrid? It has black rims. Hope to hear from you, thank you!
Should I clean the wheels and tires, dry them, apply coating and then wash the vehicle or do I wait to apply the coating to the tires after I wash the entire vehicle?
I purchased the hydro spin wheel protector and it doesn't even appear to have the main ingredient for a ceramic coating in it. I was told to look for the silicon dioxide percentages but this doesn't appear to have any...
Your grey tire applicator pad was dirty after applying your oil based product to the 1st half of the tire. Typical black gunk on a tire shine applicator even after “cleaning” the tire.
Keeps the wheel wet / lubricated , you need enough liquid around for cleaners to lift the dirt in to, but it's a good idea to keep the brush clean too, as it'd be easy to take off a bit of grit that was stuck and rub it around causing scratches
Big Blue Stiffie, 🤣that's what my Dad said after seeing a dead Blue Whale in Japan after WWII. I never dreamed I'd see it in a product commercial in 2024. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I wash my car once a week and I clean the wheels twice a week. I have an AMG so the brake dust is kind of crazy. If not, the wheels turn brown super quick. Anybody have experience with ceramic brake pads? I’m thinking of switching.
I’m tripping that consumers buy into this hype. Dang man. High pressure water, dawn dish soap or simple green. Use the right brush or wash cloth. Rinse and dry. Yes. I spend three or so minutes on each tire and wheel. I keep three cars looking in pretty showroom presentable most of the time. We have a new high end automatic car wash close by that cleans tires and wheels perfectly and dresses tires in process. No it’s not like me spending three hours washing my car but there’s not that much difference. No it’s not ruining the paint. A proper Ceramic coating process once a year, use the high end automatic and dress my own tires. A few times a week. I run my company car through the twice a week. Five years later my cars with 120,000 miles still look great. I never towel dry cars. Air guns only.
I’ve got moderately aggressive all terrain tires on my Jeep. They’ve got side lugs, raised letters and all sorts of texture to them. Applicators don’t get into all the cracks and crevices so I just take the sloppy route and spray tire shine on the surface then work it in the best I can. Is there a better method I’m missing? And, I’m fully aware the other Jeep owners are gonna come at me for using tire shine.
Jeep owner as well with the same tire. Found the best way was spray then wipe the shine on the smooth part of the tire. Then spray the shine on the knobby part and on a brush to rub the knobby sidewall.

What happened with the Diablo wheel cleaning?
What can I use to protect the rims?
My wheels are carbon force ceramic coated and I clean them with Diablo and use extreme shine on tires. No lie the shine stays up to 3 weeks and if there’s no rain it can last more than that!
Enjoy your detailing products!!
Hey does your Diablo cleaner smell like straight bubble gum or am I trippin?
@@Spark_Shark24 no your not trippen, that’s how it smells lol

Brake dust can eat up your rims if left on for months without cleaning them. You'll mainly see that with people who use the drive thru car wash.

No difference keep doing what your doing
Going to try this
I use anal lubricant
I would always rinse the wheel beforen any touching, so you get the first dirty off and prevent scratches

In 83, it was probably water, dish soap, and a bath towel.
🤔🤔
@@ChemicalGuys 500 cars per hour for 8 hours = 4,000 cars and the Guinness World Record
that’s over 8 nines per minute!!!

Those are the cleanest dirty wheels to clean, that I've ever seen. Come on over to my place if you wanna clean actual dirty wheels.
You should make a video of your sealants and waxes and how to use them

My new car has some black paint on part of the rims. Is it safe to use these bristle brushes on that? I see you doing it here so I guess it must be.
How do you clean the red rocket brush after use?
Hey Kyle! Use an all purpose cleaner or degreaser with warm water to release spent product.
