- Today we finally bring the 700HP Sleeper to the dragstrip! On low boost it runs low 12's but after dialing in the launch & turning it up we get deep into the 11's! But, there are a few upgrades we need to do

Get the suspension dialed in first, same story as cleetus mcfarland's El Camino, picked up ALOT of time with the adjustments
Revealed shocks with adjustable rebound would make a world of difference
Imagine being an Evo Bro, lining up next to a Volvo, then suddenly seeing its taillights
Get the front suspension to just plant on the ground and not unload on each shift, it will definitely pick up like at least a half a tenth of a second.
Slow rebound front drag shocks
They will slow unloading the suspension between shifts.

Might consider an anti roll bar too. Teamz has a universal kit that’s reasonable.

@@_Gingium_ while you do the ebrake you should add caltrac bars so it will stop wheel hoping and not spin on the launch
I love how around the 9:30 mark everyone has their back to the Volvo, watching the evo drive. Then you just see the evo get overtaken. Haha great.

@@knowbull5hit590 Nothing great at all, its a road race application, 380whp atm, will only go up to around 450whp when the build is "done". But for low/mid power level it gets the job done just fine.
you need suspension and brakes man..... just look at those gear changes how the weight shifts...
@@p9vg you can do sleeper suspension easy, just dont have it slammed. brakes would be easy enough to hide with the wheels hes got on it as well

@@p9vg not a valid reason, putting actual suspension set up for drag racing doesn’t mean it would be lowered
having it weight transfer so much adds to the car making it feel sketchier makes it feel faster than it is. so if he did put suspension on it would ruin the feel of it.

bc racing makes a really nice set of coilovers for one of these. you should probably get them so you don’t die. we want you alive.
Adjustable Tickperformance master cylinder should help clean those shifts, we have almost identical set ups haha

He could get a set of the Volvo S60R/V70R brembo calipers for 300-400 front and rear. I am fairly certain there is a company that makes the adapter brackets to run them on a 240.
@@OnShouldersOfGiants That would be good but i’m sure it’s not a volvo rear end so would need a different brake kit for the rear. But for the fronts that would be good.

The nose dives when shifting looks hilarious. you definitely got to fix that.
S1 sequential. Bolts up to most transmissions, still need to use clutch but can wire in clutch less shifts, never miss a gear, perfect for what you want!

To stop the windshield fog, mix baby shampoo with some rubbing alcohol and let it dry on the wind shield. Lightly wipe it off and it won't fog. Leave a light layer tho. It's slightly fuzzy to look through but way better than fog esp when harnessed in. Or use a torch and quickly evap the fog

I don't know if you have one or not but a shift light will help a lot. Set it to couple hundred RPM just after torque curve starts to drop that way when you get back in it you are in the power band.

Should try setting it up for flat shifting. Might get you down the track a little quicker. Less time between shift and constant boost between shifts.

hydraulic e brake to help you stage and load up the drivetrain will get you off the line with more consistency and bring that 60 foot down
Maybe remove the roof bars to reduce the drag a bit?
I would suggest you try to Brace your left elbow against the door so you won’t jerk the wheel wile you’re shifting
