Thanks for hearting my comment WiseFish. But you know if you want an interesting idea for a video if you feel like it's the right kinda video for your channel you gotta do something for the Persona series. I feel like that would be awesome
This makes me wonder could the sequel for exodus maybe the story will be artyom and the other rangers going to find the invisible watchers and get answers 🤔 like why keep the Moscow people hidden underground 🤔 or what's stopping them from retaking the country 🤔 so many possible story lines
if you played khan's story in metro 2033 you'll see khan telling ulman to turn off his flashlight when he felt an anomali is nearby which somewhat proves that silantus is quite right about elecricity attracting anomalis
@@El_Negro2003 well all I know about them is from gameplay and some notes. Basically they're just floating electricity balls and that's it just pure electricity and they attack whatever moves when they're close to it as well as being drawn towards objects that use electricity. There was no way to kill it before metro exodus and it's only done by the fanatics. They do what I think is called "grounding" which is basically to draw the anomalies close to metal rods connected to the ground and the anomaly will disappear as it touches the rods and go through them underground.
I been a metro fan since 2014 and never understood the lore of metro entirely just some what of it like the great war, the darkness ect but since i discovered ur channel and watch alot of ur metro lore video it help me alot to understand the story of metro so thk u for this
Metro is probably one of best games store wise. Alot of the gun play is good, but alot of the levels in the first two games were jank. You being so squishy and the enemies being so strong really made the games difficult. But the redux kinda made the sneaking easier, making those prior issues not so preventant.
I adore the ways the games diverged from the books. It's such an amazing comingling of content consumption who's only real competition is the Witcher series.
It's sad to think with the horrific things going on in the Ukraine atm this series and stalker 2 will probably be on a indefinite hiatus. Like obviously making games is probably their last concern atm since survival and safety comes first but it's just another example of a indirect effect this horrific mess will potentially have for years I just hope every developer for both series and their families all make it out through this safely
"Dear motherland, this morning we're leaving you for some time. We're not betrayers, we love you, Ukraine and we'll have with us a new part of Ukraine in not so distant Malta. 4A Games Malta is a Ukrainian company."
I love the lore behind the factions of metro exodus. I really hope they could flesh them out even more by having players affect the outcome for every factions in the game at the end of the stage by doing side missions. Or at least make the secret objective matters like killing the tsar fish will make the cult realize they're worshiping a false god or killing the baron double will allow giul to take over & finally free the tribals & etc
Its videos like this that remind me of one thing. I can't wait for the next installment of the series. Once of course things have cooled in eastern Europe. I really hope they make it through.
I truly hope the series continue with a wider open world traveling on the aurora or a new game playing as the main character finding resources to build your new home
@@WiseFish April fools video? It would be funny to see the virus thing in scooby doo be covered in Thai channel as it’s the only monster in the series at that point when I watched it. The descriptions fit, it’s the monster that had a movie where the gang was moved into a video game trope
I hope in the sequel we see the invisible watchers in person and get some answers like what was stopping them from reclaiming Russia 🤔 or why keep people underground in the metro for 20 years 🤔
During the final cutscene of the game, with the return home of Sam, we can see that at San Francisco there are still people alive. It would be interesting to understand who survived in America and how their societies evolved after the war.
You claim that the soldiers who detain Artyom and Anna in the first chapter are "Hansa Spartans" but I don't think that's correct. It seems to me that you are synthesizing the events of Metro 2035 and Exodus in an attempt to create a separate canon that is internally consistent. While I sympathize with that endeavor, I don't think it is worth doing in a video that is meant to explain the lore as it currently exists. As it is, the books and games, while closely related, are really two separate stories with two separate sets of characters. Going back to the "Hansa Spartan" claim, Anna explicitly says "These people, they're Hansa, not the Order..." when Artyom wakes up in the car in Exodus. While the Order did take in Hansa recruits according to Metro 2035 in order to bolster their ranks after the battle for the bunker, and Metro Exodus does not directly contradict this, that does not mean that all Hansa soldiers are now a part of the Order. Hansa and the Order still exist as separate military organizations that both have obligations to the invisible watchers and thus collaborate with each other and have some degree of integration. I don't think there's any support in the story of the game for the idea that any of the Hansa troops encountered in the first chapter could be considered Spartans or members of the Order. I also don’t think there’s any support for the troops manning the radio station in Metro 2035 being identified as members of the Order. Miller and his inner circle knowing about the jammers doesn’t mean that Spartan personnel man the stations, guard them, or even know about them.
I personally thought they were due to their equipment, reaction to the colonel and how Artyom and Anna responded too then but maybe I used to book too much to make that judgement. My bad, but thank you for making a note of this and that I was wrong.
@@WiseFish Thanks for the reply Ranger :) A good way of thinking about it is how different countries work together when in a war-time alliance. In this analogy, the invisible watchers would be like allied command and Miller is the head of the armed forces for one country under that command. The Hansa Major that Miller talks to on the train is in a separate chain of command, but the organizations that they each represent owe allegiance to the same authority (the watchers), hence the Major threatening Miller with court-martial by the supreme command. However, given the clandestine nature of the supreme command, the average soldier in each organization is not aware of this higher authority. There seems to also be a difference between the books and the game here, in that, in the game, the Invisible Watchers seems to be another name for Hansa, while in the books they are two separate organizations where the Invisible Watchers have de facto control of Hansa because they hold kompromat over the de jure leaders of Hansa. While I don't remember that being explicitly stated with respect to Hansa in the book, that is how it works for the Reds and Reich, and I think it is reasonable to assume the same for Hansa. In 2035, it is revealed that the fuhrer of the Reich is kept in line by the watchers because the watchers possess pictures of the fuhrer's disabled daughter, and hold over him the threat of releasing the pictures if he doesn't toe the line. The conflict between the Reich and the Reds comes about because lower officers, who are not aware of both factions owing allegiance to the watchers, initiate conflict to achieve their own stations' goals, which are not in line with the goals of the Invisible Watchers. This is the same for the Rangers, with Miller, and perhaps a few other high ranking rangers, knowing about the invisible watchers while the vast majority of the troops do not. Miller was only brought into the agreement with the watchers because his forces are cut in half after the battle of D6. This is because the watchers were able to get leverage over him by giving him soldiers from Hansa in order to prevent the rangers from becoming irrelevant. While this action by the watchers prevents the dissolution of the rangers, it also indebts Miller to them. Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm trying to explain the system of blackmail and kompromat that keeps the metro in line under the clandestine control of the Bessolov and the watchers.
this game has spectacular environemnt graphics(in this video clip)... and I mean artistic + technical way, not raw pixels. it is not about when game was made but how much passion devs put into it.

I dont think watchers do what they did for the sake of power alone, but also genuine desire to sustain metro community. Threats of foreign occupation may be induced by paranoia, but overpopulation is a very real threat there
So in a way there are two groups of Spartans The orders Spartans the good ones The Hans Spartans the bad ones who worked for the invisible watchers or the other government leaders 🤔
Agreed hopefully that in the next game we see artyom and his Spartan friends go and tell the people in Moscow that they found a clean and safe place but also tells that the government leaders know as the invisible watchers were the ones who lied that Moscow was the only ones who survived hopefully we actually see the invisible watchers in person and artyom gets answers about the watchers 🤔
I loved the game but hated the far too overbearing moral system, the old one was much better. The last section is borderline unplayable for a combat build

I don't get why the people in the ark doesn't get out of it since people can travel to their location. Is it because the lack of radiation protective gears?
That, and by the time we find them they’re probably all infected with Prions with the amount of human flesh they’ve consumed, which does affect cognitive function

You don't actually kill that many of them, I doubt there's even 500 cannibals at all (Assuming this was the original population when the bombs dropped). Hell, I'm pretty sure those who decided to become cannibals slaughtered those who refused, so that reduces the population of the bunker by quite a lot, and they seem to have kept prisoners for later consumption as well, and no doubt they also did steal whatever rations the refugees would have brought with them, saving up on having to kill them right away, though those were likely kept to those who were in charge so they wouldn't be driven insane as cannibalism will deteriorate your brain over time. However, your argument is also true, as eating only human meat is not viable for long, let alone for close to 20 years. So the whole thing is a massive stretch of realism at best.
