The Metro lore is an amazing thing and to add this is the philosophical thoughts that is the war worth it and the post nuclear war that humanity's greatest and its worst.
It's so interesting how there's such a big difference between the books and the games and yet both of them are such masterpieces, both of which manage to encapsulate the message of "hope".
Khan is one of the best characters in the series. He's so unique with how different of a viewpoint he has and how much he knows about the spiritual side of the Metro.
Khan was a really ominous figure, you couldn't really figure him out but one thing he made sure was that you can see other perspectives on a matter. Even him questioning the time we know in our daily life opened up a completely different perspective on us humans. Something in us loves order but is it natural or something that was left by the old order and the stations trying to reestablish it? Love your videos and keep going! 🤙🏻 P.S: Could you also cover the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R? Would be really nice to hear you taking on the lore of S.T.A.L.K.E.R from Shadow of Chernobyl to Call of Pripyat maybe even Heart of Chernobyl when it doesn't get delayed.
Knew a guy named Khan. Looked exactly like this guy and always smelled of incense. Last time I saw him; He walked away in one of the abandoned tunnels in Chicago. Still think of him to this day.
God, I love Dimitry Gluvkhovsky's work so much, and those that pioneered it into the video games. Whish fish giving a breakdown on one of its most influential characters is a trip down memory lane. Thank you, NS
I've never played a Metro game until now with Metro Awakening.. loved the game. It got me really interested in the lore and especially Khan. Really cool to see how big of a role he played in previous games. And after playing Awakening and watching this video, it makes sense. It was a great origin story. Metro Awakening shows his philosophical journey and how he became the mysterious spiritual person he is in the previous games.
Great video! I've really been enjoying watching Metro lore lately, love the quality of yours. Khan's always intrigued me during playthroughs. Ever thought about making a D6 video?
"You reap what you sow, Artyom. Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt." -Khan Metro 2033
Khan is really something weird. Dude just appeared out of nowhere, helped us then disappeared for some reason, then appeared again in the second game and just a flick of a finger gone again, like wtf man?(I haven't read the books so i have no idea of the fate of khan) 😂
Tbh I think when metro awakening comes out modders will probably end up making a Non VR mod for the game the same as what people did for half life alyx
I hope metro 4 goes back to metro and the city. More creepy stuff in and maybe more a top open ish area. The best parts were the storm and ghost. Really gives of the dead city fibes.
Sadly i dont want to buy a VR set to play da game becuz it make me feel dizzy and want to puke, same happens to me if i use a magnification lens to paint stuff. So i will need to wait till the game its out and wisefish analise our boeh Khan. Who could win? Khan with an temporal anomaly from Stalker games or Mamma murphy filled with chems?
Hope you all enjoy this video as much as I did putting it together! The 2033 book bit with Khan is so good if you haven’t read it before!
Right when I was thinking "I wish WiseFish would upload some more Metro lore", my guy delivers

Khan. I missed him in Metro Exodus. I honestly think he would have been a great addition to the Aurora
@@Megatron_95 Sadly, Khan decided to become a recluse inside the tunnels
Not quite right on that, khan is present on metro exodus but not in the way people would like
@@elmad-alex6617 please eleborate
Khan potential is so great, hope he follows up with his promise in metro exodus bad ending for metro 4
I’m sure he will. Can’t have him have such a massive role in Last Light then never see him again surely! Same as the Dark Ones
@@WiseFish I'm so hoping the little dark one returns, one hilarious moment be him helping Anya
The Moment when you met Khan in the afterlife was so good.
He helps you on the last Journey
oh great, the story of the man that gives everyone headaches and existential crisises. good one
He’s certainly something 😂
It's why I always liked the "singing pipes" line.
Sure, it sounded funny, but it was a reference to a far more horrifying scene in the books.

I'm pretty sure thats Khan
@@cereskerrigan Khan came to our realm to give you guidance, you are a wolf cub aswell it seems XD
Recently I have viewed again all of your Metro lore-videos. Thank you for another one! :)
Thanks for another Metro lore video, Wisefish! Loving the content so far. Also, your Cyberpunk videos are top-notch. Keep up the good work!
Thank you dude! Really appreciate it 😊
@@WiseFish Of course, man, you're my go to lore UA-camr.

I've watched a lot of your lore today and this was the final straw.
You've got yourself another subscriber.

I'm so excited for awakening. Vr metro is gonna be INSANE
@@Somegoy It was great too. Had a blast playing it!
Many thanks for this awesome video! Appreciate all your hard work!
Hope you cover the entire lore in metro awakening because most people who love the lore have no access to VR and can't enjoy it
Exellent video! Thank you for your diligent work!
Great video, love the metro series (games and books) but never knew of the 'bad' ending for exodus, thank you for revealing this 👍👍
"You reap what you sow, Artyom. Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt."

Alright, fine. I'll play Metro again, twist my arm, why don't ya? All jokes aside, love all the videos dude.

He reminds me of the mysterious stranger from the fallout series
You don't know why he does what he does but you learned to accept it.
Awakening is a VR exclusive game.
Fuck.
I am super excited for this but still want artyoms story to continue
Amazing lore! Metro always wins
My only complaint about metro was how they made basically killing anyone in the game mean a bad ending no matter what
This is interesting
He is the one who have been more connected to the change of the world
Khan such a great character loved his milk run mission
Tbh I think when metro awakening comes out modders will probably end up making a Non VR mod for the game the same as what people did for half life alyx

Cool vid bro.😺
A real bro, cant wait for the sequel And what comes next for the story
I still think he’s a dark one hidden and acting like a human
カーンがいるのでエクソダスのバッドエンドが好きです
or khan is a angel, trying to help the souls to get too the right place after death of the body one way or another.
Amazing
We need a side story for Khan DLC
"I am dead no more me" than just dies? I think i like Bourbon's death in the games better
i played metro awakening and geez its so damn good
His beard makes him look like he has a cig in mouth at all times😂
You play as khan in metro awaking
Who else is UBER hype for Metro Awakening tomorrow for deluxe edition pre-orders! 😁
Ah yes, I love when ear blasting sound drops me " to my feet" Lol you're a beauty wise🥰lol
to much bass in your mic btw. good vid tho
am i tripping or didn't you upload a warhammer 40 video?
I liked khan but I really hated how preachy he was ahh yes these bandits shooting at me I better not defend myself because I’m a bad guy for it
The mos mysterious character in metro Frenchies
Too bad i dont have/cant afford a VR headset

@bocktordaytona5656 if you play the vr more and balance the headset your motion sickness will go away
I hope the new game isnt just for PC....
I Am fully trusting God Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Take a step away from the mic
