Using Midi Controller on Darkglass M900V2

Tech 21 Midi Mongoose Pedal w/ Darkglass M900 V2
I was not able to find a video walking through this, so I made one!
I'm not at ALL an expert. I just want others to feel confident making this purchase as it works and opens up a whole new dimension to the head.

What midi cable do you use? Looks like the Tech 21 has a 7 pin and the DG has 5 pin.
