Join the construction crew as we hang out, have some fun and get just a little work done. I have several updates and some very good news for a change. Enjoy
I had a friend call me once because she knew I was working on my house. "Can you come over and fix something in our house? It's electrical." "I'm not an electrician, Jeannie. I'm just putting in outlets." "This is minor." "OK, let me drive into town tomorrow." They needed a light bulb changed and her husband was afraid of electrical stuff. You can't even make this stuff up. At least Ray was joking.
Ryan is so pompous, thinking we’re so concerned about his little top secret jointer. It’s likely not even anything new or innovative and has been designed before by others a million times over.
Ryan, you really should wire the fuel cell on excavation trailer to your trailer connector. 7 way has a dedicated 12v hot line you can tap into. As long as you’re hooked up you have constant power. Keep a battery for when it is unhooked but you’ll never be down in the field. Good work!
That Mack start up was great. Farmers and other equipment operators enjoy a good cold start up. More camera on the exhaust next cold start up Ryan. Thanks for the videos and keep that mud stiff
Commodore 64 Texas Instruments Atari 400/800. Showing our age. But in reality it was the best of computer age. As for best mom Monday, you know from us older people who realize that your making your mothers day. She’s glowing with pride and joy.
Ryan, you have my thinker working overtime here... I don't know if you want to invest the money on fitness equipment, but it could be good to have a corner of the building dedicated to that, that all employees can use. All you need to have is a gym liability waiver like the big gyms have. You would want one in case someone gets hurt using it (more than muscle stiffness, haha) but think of the benefits it could have on everyone. You would have them sign the waiver keeping you from being liable should they get an injury while using the equipment. I'm thinking that's not such a bad idea, Ryan!?! Getting in shape pre-concrete season would be a huge Victory for everyone! A treadmill, bike and/or rowing machine, universal gym, free weights. You could buy the equipment slowly and then you'd only have to pay for it once and be done with the gym fees. All the guys, a month before concrete starts (haha!!!), could come and get a few lbs off prior to starting!
Really good idea. Sad thing is, with the basic membership doubling in price, that place may not survive and Ryan will need a back up plan. Having equipment at the yard would be perfect.
@@ItzMzJulez2U Exactly! Maybe Ryan can buy some equipment off of them when they close their doors! 😂 Ryan's fees will automatically rise after one year or however long his initial contract is up.
Why would that be funny because dewalt is sponsoring Ryan? If milwaukee tools had any smarts they would have grabbed ryan a long time ago and sponsored him. And I agree I would blur it out every time lol
Your wife kicked your declawed cat out of your house? A cat that can’t defend itself against predators because you selfishly declawed her so she doesn’t ruin your furniture?
As I stated in an earlier video my dad invented a fitting for the vacuum truck industry. Invention came to him like your jointer. His career was spent owning a vacuum waste service and working in hazmat remediation. He came up with an idea and patented it. We worked with foundry’s a little and the manufacturing in a foundry was definitely less expensive than a machine shop but for what the fitting did and the design we had to go back to machining them out of solid bar. I’d think a concrete tool would be a great fit for casting. Excited to see where this goes for you!
I love an old-fashioned "sweat gym." I want to hear people putting in work, it is so motivating. The last gym I was at was Planet Fitness, and the first time I was there I got "Lunk Alarmed" for clinging weights. Haven't been back to any gym since. But, on my way out that day, I definitely grabbed a couple pieces of free pizza. LOL.
Awesome video. It’s great watching men that work together have fun together. Rare to have that in construction and very happy to see you guys celebrating it. Great news all around, you got this Ryan!!!
Man this video helping while being sick for past 3 days. The energy you and the crew have is great!! Always look forward to watching your videos. Can’t wait until the season starts
If you list employees as W-2 employees, then your accountant should be able to just hit "PRINT" and send the State all the info they need. If you list your "employees" as "independent contractors", the State is going to rip you to shreds. By definition, independent contractors cannot be told "when" to arrive at the jobsite and they must provide their own tools. They can only be told what needs to be accomplished for the day, no start time. Additionally, no more that 33% of their income can be derived from a single source....meaning they MUST derive independent contractor income from sources other than Victory.
We had the same problem with our cat using the exact same litter box that Annie has. Pro tip: if you take the top off there is more room for her to spin around and do her business in the back. Our Nala 🐱is timid and likes to see her surroundings at her most vulnerable time. Turns out the lid was making her nervous as she could not see who was coming around the corner. The sight and the smell of the box with the lid off is worth it in the end.
Yea the sewer pipes you are wanting are called sewer stubs ,you bring in the sewer pipes close to the area of a future building you put in a plug in the sewer pipe ,you will be able to dig up and hook up at later date with not much hassle .
