The 1986 was Adrian Smith's year. He wrote by himself 3 of 8 songs on "Somewhere in Time" album (in that way, after Steve Harris, he became the most profitable song-writer in Maiden history), which 2 of them became singles with his own solos (as far as I remember, solos in Maiden's songs were played always by duet Smith-Murray or only by Murray (like in "Run to the Hills)). And also his lead vocals on "Reach Out" from Wasted Years B-Side. Greatest time for Adrian as a musician.
Yeah and its why he left after seventh son. He thought he could do it in his own. That was a huge mistake, but it did result years later with two great albums with Bruce , accident at Birth and Chemical Wedding.

And you don't seem to understand

But it never ends
You're wearing me out
Come on
Reach out (Reach out)

You always apologize
It's just your way
Of making a scene
You need to be loved
It's not such a crime
Come on
Reach out (Reach out)
And let someone into your life
Come on
Reach out (Reach out)
And let someone into your life
Over your head
You just don't seem to understand
One word I say
And you can't live your life
You got so much love
It's burning inside
Come on
Reach out (Reach out)
And let someone into your life

And let someone into your life

i couldn't believe it either dude. but i'm listening to it again cause everything they do ROCKS!
Wow!
Didn't know about the song until about 5 days ago. I like it that should not have been a B-side Iron Maiden would be 10 times bigger today. But the music industry is afraid of them.
I think the guy singing lead should let the backup singer do more of the lead vocals. (kidding)
wut
That's really funny :D
🤣🤣🤣
Hehe i laughed
Adrian is a Monster Bruce the best Iron maiden smashes UP the iron
Sounds like another great maiden song
Not bad, but definitely side project material, not standard Iron Maiden. I knew Adrian was a notable singer though, he certainly earned his spot on backup vocals.
ADRIIIAAAAAN GAVE ME CHILLS HE'S MY FAVORITE GUITARIST AND EVEN HIS VOICE IS GODLY
