Took my daughter to her very first concert 2yrs ago and it was Iron Maiden. She said after it was the greatest thing she has ever seen in her life. Not just the performance but the people. She also said that she doesnt think she will ever experience anything else like that and i have ruined every concert she will ever see because this is what she is going to compare it to. She doesn't know about Manowar.

Did you just discover the Powerslave album? I saw the 2 minutes to midnight video when it was new & loved it. I then saw Flight of Icarus from Piece of Mind & I was sold. Maiden is also one of the best concerts I've seen, the seventh son tour in Kansas City. I'd rank it maybe 3rd but honestly there were 2 great concerts & then the rest compete for 3rd. The #2 show ever was KISS on the Hot in the Shade tour & #1 is, of course, Metallica on the Justice for All tour. No one, I mean NO ONE beats Metallica back in the day. I've seen some great shows but they all pale in comparison to Metallica. It just one of those shows that can't be adequately explained nor can the energy be adequately caught on film or audio.
