Works as advertised for my Nikon D5100

Works fine on my Sony A7 III. Just a quick caution - when you first start the app (in my case Windows 10), it wants to update the firmware on the box. You MUST NOT have the box plugged in and charging when you try to do the firmware upgrade. It has to be running entirely on battery power, otherwise the app crashes and nothing works.

Can you let me know if it saves the photos to the SD card in the camera or if it only saves to your PC when connected? Someone posted a complaint on the a7riii that he was unable to save to the camera. That would be a problem for me also.

Did not work live-view on Sony SLT-A99, SLT-A77 and DSC-RX10 IV.

      Hi Angelisone,
You are correct. As we listed at www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1243532-REG/vello_lw_100_extend_aacute_wi_fi_dslr_remote.html, Sony cameras have these limitations due to the way they function. Please see that link for our full list of limitations.
      Thank you

Vello Gear Photo Accessories, you are so correct that Sony really screwed up in making Sony A-mount popular cameras that can do live-view, just all that they are making now have live-view at turned on (now, Sony abandoned all Sony A-Mount Photographers).
The other piece of craps they Sony & paid reviewers failed to say that the MIS is joke.
Then come this, not a single one of mirrorless cameras can do ATG's AF Assist Beam.
Sony can't even make a TTL/M transmitter with ATG AF Assist Beam.
I guess they learn nothing from Canon's.
      Thank you for replying back.
