Hi Kon. Your interview sessions are great. Real life scenarios. I'm glad you brought up the question of the impact that charging has on the electricity bill. This is something that I find missing from most reviews. Thumbs up on your content - reviews and interviews. 👍
Awesome stuff looking forward to more car reviews of this sort. It’s a much needed to get feedback for the used car market and what to lookout for. Keep it up!
@konwailuen 2017/8 X5 are going for RM110k. Some with very low milege. Would you buy one as it seems to be a bargain. Very surprised similar year XC60 is double the price. Volvo has held their prices while X5 has tanked. Worthy buys ?
Oh, to answer your question, you need to book your slot through this link and pay a deposit of RM450 club.evomalaysia.com/group-buy/evoclub-extended-warranty/ After that, you'll be contacted to make an appointment to perform the inspection at any one of 42 inspection centres of your choice. :)
@@KonWaiLuen Can the petrol engine charge the battery on the go during long distance? And also the air-cond compressor of PHEVs are powered solely by the battery or can also be driven by the petrol engine like in regular cars?

Haha.. in this scenario. PHEVs are win.
Cost of Per charge ?
Around RM 3-4. Charging is always cheaper than petrol.
Hi
Are PHEVs suitable for long distance?
Can be used for long distance, but you won't get the same kind of fuel savings without the ability to recharge during the journey.

@@kelvinliew2182 you’ll need breaks the car in order to recharge, so it won’t work for long distance drive specially on our north south highways
@@TOTO-mj4zt So that means the petrol engine can’t charge the battery on the move?
@@kelvinliew2182 basically yes, that’s why when we drive in city we use electric and when we on highway we switch to petrol
