Tested it on X series day in Thailand x5 is awesome, x4 put me on understeered comig out of a corner, we had test drive day on the track
hi bobby nice review... but I hoped you could have pointed out the misaligned front fenders and the front bonnet... very dissapointed with the assembly built quality of the BMW..
Bobby you really need to buy an external mic. It's very hard to hear you behind all those background noise.

Nice! What about comparing the Q7 , X5 , XC90 with the RX turbo? How will the comparison to the RX turbo be like?
Well the new Lexus RX is built from a Toyota Camry platform with a wheelbase of only 2,789mm whereas the XC90 has a wheelbase of 2,984mm and the Q7 2,994mm. So that's why you can see the Americans comparing the RX to the likes of the Q5 and X3 because even those have a wheelbase of 2,800mm and above. The Lexus NX on the other hand, is built from the RAV4, which is a CRV class vehicle.
Not complaining but the review was being disrupted by the drone of a V12 of a mechanical bull towards the end.

You were right in saying that others would "f_ck off" upon seeing the X5 in their rear view mirror as demonstrated from 4:45 onwards. The Persona took a bit of "extra" time to move out of the way though. The Avanza really took the cake and didn't give a flying f_uck when U turning on a highway at 8:10. The front grill is intimidating enough for most but not intimidating enough for a few, like the Avanza.

Definitely the x40e. It drives better, more high tech, has iDrive, has Concierge service, looks better. The RX200T is just a decent SUV that is more spacious than the x40e. Other than that it's rather boring.

Can this be charged fully while on the road? I think the 330e can only charge to a maximum of 50% using kinetic charging.
Nope, it only goes up to 50%. Because if it allows you to charge to 100%, everyone will start doing it, and actually not achieving the goal of reducing emission, or transferring the root energy to renewable sources.
The 330e will be able to charge up to 90% if you change the hybrid mode to SAVE BATTERY MODE.
yeah the mic is bad. and you might not want to show us the Speedo next time.
What about road and wind noise in car X5 vs XC90?
Current 2020 X5 i havent driven as yet. I would presume it would be comparable to the XC90 given how ghe curre t 5, X3, 7, 3 are all extremely quiet. As for the previous X5 that the XC90 was created to challenge, there's no contest. The XC90 is extremely quiet.
Bobby how do you compared this to XC90 in comfort and handling?
XC90 beats this car in every measure. Handling, comfort, build quality, design, practicality, space. Everything.

The NX is a decent car but given than that it's smaller than the RX, and the RX is even smaller than the X5, the NX seems rather expensive.
True tho bobby! I like the lexus nx but the price tag is little bit competitive with the A45, A car guy would go for A45 but Lexus nx seems like a nice family car :D btw, what do u think bout the Vw scirocco?
+god blessme i would go for the NX over the A45 lol. Scirocco WAS a great car 10 years ago. Now competing with R35 as world's longest production car still in service.
the A45's interior seems boring? But I would go for anything that lexus makes :D hahaa, actually im a scirocco owner, its a 2.0 turbo but its powerful, really really powerful, I was once told by the salesman from VW said that Vw produced scirocco to go against the GTR. is it true?

Hi, what's your opinion of this vehicle compared to Volvo XC90?
+Song Lin X5 has a slightly more pliant suspension, the XC90 is better in everything else. XC90 should be charged whenever you can, but the X5 can be driven like a normal non hybrid car without being charged

Bobby Ang I have both the X5 40e and XC90 T8 and I feel the complete opposite. The X5 effectively turns into a 20i with a 200kg deadweight when the battery is depleted, making it feel like it's stuck on limp home mode. At least the XC90 can rely on its beefy T6. It's a shame, because the X5 would have otherwise been the better driving all-rounder of the two.
Yau Hui Lim what i meant was, the XC90 had a software that limits recuperation to only 30% of its battery whereas the X5 can go 90%. But a few months ago they have updated it to recuperate to 80%.

Today this car has lost 80% in depreciation value. Never buy a hybrid or electric. Tons of problems, (BMW wouldnt be able to help you) Never ever use hybrid or electric
