2018 BMW X5 xDrive40e | Plug-in Luxury!! - Short Review

BMW is more serious than ever when it comes to EV and Plug-In Hybrid! From the cool and sexy BMW I8 ( that is now offered in roadster version ) to the BMW I3 ( Don't forget the range extender ) and now we need to add the BMW iPerformance lineup! The BMW X5 is now offered in plug-in hybrid version! Ok, it's now a lot of pure electrical autonomy but it combines fuel efficiency and a great government incentive!

Im driving this as my everyday car for a year now and I’m super happy with it. Very comfy, I go 90% of the time fully electric but do have enough power with both engines combined when I need it. Super quiet, the comfort seats are absolutely amazing, i also have the M Paket which has a nice clean look I like very much.

I owned a BMW X5E, and I think your assessment of this car is right on the money. I think the suspension is way too soft I also owned a 2009 BMW X5 which I thought was a much better handling vehicle and a better performer. Good job with this video

The problem with this X5 PHeV is that the little battery should also pull the heavy 2.0L twin turbo engine and all other mechanic components which defenitely takes a hit on the battery range

This wasn't a review it was a sales commercial. Looking over the pros and cons overall this vehicle doesn't do anything very well. I'd look elsewhere it does look nice though
