    This was interesting and cool to watch, basically watching Tim get s therapy session which for whatever reason watching a man take care of his mental health brings me such joy and peace

    Such a great convo. Tim really is about that life let me tell you 😅 I have that thing about not sitting with my back to the door too, but for the life of me, I couldn’t tell you where it came from 🤷🏽‍♀️

    You can tell that Uncle Tim (B-sider here 🙌🏽) is still processing by the deep exhales that he makes in this conversation. I love the transparency and vulnerability, this episode helped me so much. Thanks Nancy! Love what you’re doing ! 🥰

    I learn so much just absorbing the conversation. The body posture, countenance, facial expressions, the tone, the interactions, there is so much there than the words. Thank for giving us a glimpse . ❤ 1:10:45

    Some of the things that Nancy says, even though she is an expert in her field, leaves me in awe. To specifically point out that what Tim was saying about the police was normal life for a black man in the inner city was in my opinion very short sighted. This type of police behavior is not just relegated to the inner city! Let's not be naive!
    The depth of anti-blackness can run deep. As quite as it's kept, even among those who believe that they are not. Those who haven't really had that conversation or even believe that it is necessary(HOT)

    Question:
    When can Black People ever feel safe in their own skin🤔
    Tim may feel safe in Australia; but there's racism there also. Just ask the Indigenous Australians.
    I always say where there are people; there is always the propensity for something to pop off!
    Whether you live in South Dallas, as Tim mentioned; or in a gated community!

    Is grief work biblical? Cause some would say accepting Jesus is enough

    • @Tiffanylee329
      @Tiffanylee329 6 місяців тому

      I would say yes. God wants us healed & the enemy wants us bound. Considering the amount of times God uses other humans to bless/help others, I think she’s doing Gods work. All this is of course my opinion.
      Accepting Jesus allows us to see more & reflect more & He will guide us in all the ways (if we allow Him too) to get the help we need! Of course this is just my opinion again. Hope this helps & makes sense ❤

    It makes sense that Tim thinks that racist police and people with authority is scary to him. They are people with guns (the way he measures safety) and little to no consequences when they use them historically, especially where he came from. Someone who can alter generations with skewed and horrible perceptions of people.
