The GoPro 10 looks well impressive . Image quality, color science and operation used to be cumbersome. This new GoPro seems to be skipping a few generations when it comes to image quality. Combine that with horizon leveling and you have an awesome camera. Looks like the surfer boys finally nailed it.
Fyi, IQ sucks. Only if you’re at the brightest of sun and light it’s good, but as soon as you get somewhere shady or god forbid, lowish light, IQ crashes to compressed artifacts nightmare. I bought it but now I’m sorry. Should have stayed with my Gopro Black 6.
I have the 10 and it is the best image ever from a GoPro. It actually rivals or betters the iPhone 12 Pro Max in flat mode and full data rate in Davinci Resolve. I am very impressed with it. I have both and have tested the IQ. You are right about low light it is horrible. It is an action cam.
Yeah, but not only low light…in the woods, for instace, where it’s shady…image starts to fall apart. Basically it’s a camera you can use ONLY in good lighting conditions. Of course, if you look for image quality. If not, that’s another story.

Ahhhh, your finally getting in to my world. So far the GP10 is getting it done. Camera audio isn't to bad and I haven't experienced any freezing or malfunctions so far. Maybe the surfer boy is catching up and getting it right, but to soon to tell. Looking forward to hearing more about it from you.

I’ve been waiting for your review. I had the 8 and it sucked because of the locking up. I’ve had the 10 a week know. It works great. Save your battery and turn off GPS and voice control.

Just checked, my old mic adapter does seem to work with the Hero 10, so far. Shows up under the Media Mod menu item.
