First part, 2012-2015, in which the team legend was hired to restore the franchise and the very first signing was one of the legendary QBs, and with a success of four consecutive division titles with at least 12 wins - including SB 50 win - then the collapse began, with 16 different starting QBs & five head coaches.
Waiting for the Warriors Collapse. Coming off the bench last season, we saw Klay Allen spiral into Tobias Thompson, unfollow the team's socials, and the basket.
Given that their last title was 2022 if you want to count that one for this purpose, I think we could be a little too close still (not that they are winning another title with the same core, but I don’t know if there’s enough material yet)

As a Bulls fan I still get upset that we weren’t treated to a Bulls/Rockets Finals in 94 & 95 after Jordan’s retirement. 90’s NBA was pretty crazy when you think about it. Pistons title in 1990 & Spurs winning in 1999 w/ the 8 years in between having 2 teams win the 8 titles without ever playing each other in the finals. Bulls 3 peat, Rockets back to back & another bulls 3 peat.
May not be a collapse series but would love a video about the Yankees from their 1962 title until 1996 just because of the title drought in the 1980s for them
I will defend Jerry Krause and Reinsdorf's decision to blow up the Bulls when they did from a business perspective, and I will die on this hill. A bunch of players were going to have their contracts renewed, and they were going to be able to demand more salary because of the sixth championship, but at the same time, they were going to be in the downswing of their careers. Teams make the mistake all the time by buying valuable players when they're most expensive but past their prime (see the late 90s Rockets). We also know with hindsight that most of the team wasn't going to be able to perform at the same level. Rodman was out of the league in two years. Ron Harper and Luc Longley were out in three. Pippen lasted a while, but he never got above 15 ppg again, and they already knew he was having back problems. Toni Kukoc was really the only one who hit his peak later on. MJ was not in his prime, though by any other standard he was still an excellent player, we know for a fact that they couldn't build a team around MJ in his late 30s because it didn't work in Washington.
At least you know you're by yourself on this one. If that Bulls team came back for the 1999 season, I believe the Spurs would've beat them in the NBA Finals. Now you have your excuse to rebuild. Now they've got the stench of breaking up a team that won 3 championships in a row. The owner was cheap and the GM was in his feelings. Not a good look
And Phil and Jerry Krause were not going to co-exist, And Phil was what kept the machine oiled. Think about it….he had to get MJ, Pippen and Rodman to buy in. MJ was good with Phil, but Scottie and Worm were two notorious head cases. The team would have imploded anyway if they tried bringing the players back without Phil.
@@mongoslade277 The Jerry's May have been cheap, but that's just business. MJ was never a good manager so he never understood, but it doesn't make sense financially to pay maximum price for players at the end of their career. MJ thinks they could have offered a one year contract to everyone to compete in 99, but he thinks that because he was the star and paid well. Scottie, and some of the others probably wouldn't have taken that deal because there was too high a chance they would be injured and lose out of higher contracts. Maybe they had a chance in 99, but we know essentially for a fact that would have lost to the Kobe/Shaq Lakers in 00. Not because Kobe and Shaq are better, but because they were old.
@@zlinedavid Even MJ was a bit of a head case. Always beefing with his team mates, leaving to play basketball, not really buying in to team play until Phil came along.
Torn my ACL (getting surgery soon) and I know why you often hear this is terminal for some careers. It just kills most of what makes you. Hell, if I am half what I used to be after the surgery I would be very surprised. And I am nowhere near an elite athlete. It sucks...

@@matthewlo7868well, they just made rewinder episode of when Zlatan introduce MLS
i remember the Baby Bulls, when the GM wisely drafted 2 centers with 2 top 4 picks. GENIUS
Love these !!! I could literally watch these all day !!!
Wow, it's really good. It's very attractive and the AD is very interesting
This is great, now please make more ❤
One of my absolute favorite series of all time please can we get more
Please do a rewind of the valley oop in game 5 of the 2021 finals. Giannis fulfilling his potential coming off what should’ve been a season ending injury the round before. Coming back from 2-0 down in the finals. 35-15-5 finals mvp. Its an amazing, intense, and iconic story
So many good options:
Miami after 2005 NBA Finals
Notre Dame after Lou Holtz
Yankees after 2009 World Series
Nebraska after Tom Osborne
Pistons after Bad Boys
Celtics after their last 80s title
Can you really count the Yankees because they only won two championships in the 2000s. They were literally at the beginning and end of the decade, lol. I love the Yanks, but winning in 2000 and then not again until 2009 isn't a collapse.
@@PrinceofDrill I guess you've forgotten that the Yankees at the start of the decade were ending their dynasty. it deserves a look in because they won 4 titles in a 5 year span between 96 & 2000 and made the WS in 2001 and 2003 as well.
THe Miami Heat in 2005 is a bit odd though as they are not close to a dynasty.
Collapse ideas in the future if you decide to come back to this series:
Broncos since 2015
Current Bills if they can’t win it this year
Current Suns if this era is untitled
Brooklyn Nets since 2021
Eagles from 2018-2020 (I know my team Sprung back up, but still very much qualifies)
Broncos since 2015 is a case of a team who had a defensive identity when they won it all, and hasn’t had a good quarterback since Peyton Manning left his prime.
@@fortynights1513 Still from Peyton's decline and retirement to not making the playoffs since is a good criteria to be featured, especially with the team now in a total rebuild.
@@DanielOhebI’d have to double check but if the Jets make the playoffs at some point in the near future, the Broncos might be the next longest playoff drought in the NFL
Warriors??
As a Bucks fan watching these makes me verrrrrry nervous because we are following the collapse pattern perfectly
If Dame and Giannis ended up on the same team six or seven years earlier could they have done better than they did this past year in reality?
@@fortynights1513I think they would win 1-2 rings if they were together for that long, if they put a nice supporting cast together. And I’m not a Bucks fan.
@@whips8I could see that.
Also, out of curiosity:
I hear people say that Jrue Holiday is a good perimeter defender, how is Dame defensively?
Just curious because that’s the guy he was supposedly replacing, and I generally don’t hear people talk about defense for most guards.
My dude...yall got Doc as Head Coach. The collapse is inevitable and the only question is at what point this past season was the beginning of the descent.
The bucks won once. They already been collapsing. I mean, 1st round exit after winning it all. Yikes. Middleton is still on the team. Bigger yikes. Doc rivers is the coach. It's so cooked
Finally !!!!! Doc Style it's only right
Wow. Love this ❤
You guys really should have included chapters or at least mentioned in the description which teams were being described. I think we all have the right to pick and choose what we want to see without having to scroll through 5 minutes at a shot
thanks for the suggestion, just added to description!
That 90s astroturf was brutal. Every video I see with it in it out just looks like it's hooking cleats and twisting knees.
they didn't wear cleats on astroturf. It was literally sneakers/gym shoes. But it was definitely brutal.
Dude the music in these is always fire
PLEASE MAKE MORE!!! 🙏🏾
Love this series! Can you please bring it back? I’d love to see one on Seattle now that Carroll and Russ are both gone or the Patriots now that Belicheck and Brady are gone?
Thank y'all for this ! 🙏🏾 Bless up
Still haven’t gotten a Seahawks/Legion of Boom collapse video.
They weren’t a dynasty bud
@@GreenbayFudgepackers*They don’t have to be to get 1.. this video specifically is about “dynasties” but the jets got 1 n do you remember their dynasty?.. me either bud*
Well this should be good 🍿
I’m gonna need to see a collapse for my Broncos. Tebow-mania to the Manning era to No Fly Zone to nearly a decade of mediocrity.
The 2020 Lakers need a collapse episode as well as the 2019 Raptors
I love "Collapse", and I think it should resume. I have a good one : Denver Broncos from 2012-now. First part, 2012-2015, in which the team legend was hired to restore the franchise and the very first signing was one of the legendary QBs, and with a success of four consecutive division titles with at least 12 wins - including SB 50 win - then the collapse began, with 16 different starting QBs & five head coaches.
I've never needed something more in my life
Waiting for the Warriors Collapse.
Give it three years. When Steph retires, that's when the vid will come out.

U guys need to bring this back man
I can’t imagine the amount of work needed to make these types of videos..:.the research is one thing, but all the pics, articles, clips and effects….😮
Please do more Collapse videos
Crazy how we might be seeing a similar video on The Warriors in a couple years.
What's happened with the Warriors sort of reminds me of the Collapse video SB did on the Marlins (not part of this compilation), where they won a championship in the middle of their Collapse (in this case, 2022). If, in another couple of years, they haven't turned things around, I could very easily see them as candidates for a similar video.
Y'all need to do CFB dynasty's
Need to make more of these, here are some ideas:
*How the Eagles started to falter after a Super Bowl win
*How the Nationals went from World Series Champs to the NL East basement
*Philadelphia Flyers road to ruin
*How the Spurs went from top of the heap to Wemby
Etc.
The Nationals fall off was pretty much immediate.
Who retired or left other than Rendon?
The Patriots collapse starting with them losing to the Titans in the 2019 Wild Card Round. Then Tom Brady left in the off-season and it was all downhill from there
Eagles one doesn’t make any sense they had a couple years of poor performance but their back on their feet and don’t forget that they just recently went to the Super Bowl, don’t let last season fool u
@@fortynights1513 Strasburg got injured to the point of being unable to play baseball again. Rendon left in free agency. Juan Soto and Max Scherzer was traded once it was clear the team couldn't compete anymore. Several key players were all on expiring contracts, and the team was the oldest in baseball that year. 2019 was the last year they were realistically expected to do anything in the playoffs.
Oh man, as soon as i heard "Chicago Blackhawks" on the last one I KNEW this was gonna be absolutely brutal.
The 1990's were dead for Detroit fans till the Wings (I live in Detroit and a Avs fan) i mean the Tigers were down the Lions were up and down and the Pistons were coming off of the 80's, so being able to watch the AVS play the wings was really the only way i got to watch them play (avs) and it was an exciting time as a hockey fan
Good stuff!!!
If the Edmonton Oilers are not in this list, something is wrong. Glen Sather completely destroyed that dynasty within two seasons, got fired and they still haven't recovered...
Game 7, let's see if they recover
Double Collapse: The Asecent, Descent, Reascension, and Redescension of Terunofuji, a sumo legendary story
The 2011 Red Sox weren’t a dynasty but love to see y’all make a video about that collapse
I mean you could kind of lump them in to the Red Sox renaissance dynasty between 2004-2013. They won 3 times in that span with Ortiz as the anchor.
Thank you
Since everyone's doing suggestions (and i think SB would be crazy to not do another season of collapse), here's a few I'd love to see:
Post-Duncan spurs
Frankie Edgar/Shogun Rua sad endings to legendary UFC runs
Post-Harden Rockets (peaking in WCF 2018)
Leicester City 2016-2023
2021 Phoenix Suns (if Booker ever leaves)
As a Bulls fan I still get upset that we weren’t treated to a Bulls/Rockets Finals in 94 & 95 after Jordan’s retirement. 90’s NBA was pretty crazy when you think about it. Pistons title in 1990 & Spurs winning in 1999 w/ the 8 years in between having 2 teams win the 8 titles without ever playing each other in the finals. Bulls 3 peat, Rockets back to back & another bulls 3 peat.
Yall should do a dynasty falling for the 5 time champs Spurs, would be cool to see
May not be a collapse series but would love a video about the Yankees from their 1962 title until 1996 just because of the title drought in the 1980s for them
The late 90s Rockets and 2010s Nets had one thing in common: think a bunch of older vets will win you a title (they had no chance)
@XandateOfHeaven Good point about Pippen taking a 1 year deal. That team never did right by him. He wasn't doing that
Everytime i hear Bill Cartright i always think of that Seinfeld episode
Seinfeld, four??
Torn my ACL (getting surgery soon) and I know why you often hear this is terminal for some careers. It just kills most of what makes you. Hell, if I am half what I used to be after the surgery I would be very surprised. And I am nowhere near an elite athlete. It sucks...
Hang in there brother 💪🏻
Im a simple man i see Secret base upload i click 🤷🏾♂️😂😂
I am gonna eat so many snacks to this
Don’t forget untitled too. Bring those back too 🙏🏽. I be watching the hockey and baseball ones even tho idk anything about em lol

Anderson Silva may have gotten an episode on Collapse, now we need a Ronda Rousey Collapse episode
BRING BACK THE SERIES PLZ
2000 draft actually has few nice mf look at few of the names like Crawford
Does anyone know what the background music is for when the bulls start collapsing? 2:34
Ur mom😅😅
Why did Canadian oil affect the NHL? Thought the NHL dealt in USD
They're both out of the team, you can do a Brady/Belichick Patriots now
We need the collapse of the post-Brady Pats. They may be one of my teams, but it’s been fascinating watching them suck so much.
as a blue jackets fan, i love stan bowman. he gave the jackets 3 really good deals during his tenure.
