Hey guys, I'm glad you're all liking this video, it honestly means alot to me! I was thinking about doing some full covers of songs from this medley mainly 'Targitzan' and 'HAG 1'. Let me know if you'd be down for that or if you want me to do any other covers from the Banjo Kazooie games 🤘
I'm just so happy there's more than one person who adores the soundtrack, killer medley man and thanks for letting me be a teensy part of it as tricky as timing was
As much as I love these renditions, especially with the added vocal flair, the true highlight of this piece is the ever tenacious Klungo. Properly placed after all the madness that are the other bosses, it perfectly captures how sad, pathetic yet admirable his persistence against our vastly overpowered pair feels.
I'm playing through Banjo-Tooie again on NSO right now, and when I was looking up boss music I came across the masterpiece! This is SO SICK! Well done!!!!!
Man, this was priceless. Fantastic job! It’s always good to hear cool remixes of music from a game you have never played, so you can update your collection of bopping OSTs!
Glad you enjoyed it! Banjo Tooie is one of my favourite games, so if you get the chance it's worth playing, although most people prefer the original 'Banjo Kazooie', so maybe play that one first if you haven't already.
I love the softer sound for Lord Woo Fak Fak. Fits the underwater setting as well as the character himself. Poor old fish just wanted to be left alone.
1:14 Grenade Eggs actually aren't the fastest way to defeat Old King Coal, if you wait to fight him until you get the Ice Eggs you can deal even more damage per egg, plus a faster firing rate to really take him down fast.
this is actually incredible, i don’t know how there’s so little likes on it 😢 i love the boss battle music in this game, how it’s recognizable as the world’s main themes with most of them being in minor keys, my favorite music to listen to and sing. you did a bang up job. i’m going to listen a bunch more times
Okay ... So this is one of the coolest things I've ever heard. And I strongly desire this entire thing on Spotify. Is it on Spotify? 😂 You're really talented and you have gained a new subscriber :D if you ever stream the game on Twitch in the future I'd definitely watch!
Amazing work, well done! Kirkhope soundtracks are some of my favs and you have perfectly captured the environmental atmospheres of the fights with your music. Excellent 😎
WOW WHOA WHOA WTF?! This is amazing!! 😃 I’m literally only at the Targitzan part and I feel like I’m in an awesome reboot of the original game and in a real Mayan world! 😃 The vocals in Mr Patch’s theme we perfect too!! I think both the guitar playing and your vocals really made this 🙂 Wow I loved the soft transition to Lord Woo Fak Fak/Atlantis theme!! That was so nice :) And I got mega chills at Hailfire Peaks/Chilly Willy 😃 My favorite!!! Omg, what an epic medley!! I would love any future Banjo games, but Look forward to any more game covers you do 😊
@Corporal Spiro the only reason Why Banjo was made is because Project Dream was canceled, due to realistic characters being too hard on N64. Now that technology has advanced Rare no longer sees a use for the bear and bird other than ports. The good news is that Hat in Time was very inspired by the Bear and Bird.
@@swanletsecondchannel8533wow I thought I was the only person in the world that did that lol I just remember when my brother beat the game I just explored everywhere on his profile that was just so much fun to me as a kid
Awesome! Vocals were a nice touch too. I always thought they'd fit Targitzan well, would've liked them to be a little louder though. You've also some nice lighting going on and your desk is appropriately decorated... but skip the cough next time, especially the wide shot. The couch-drawers-wires combo spoil the vibe :P
Yeah the couch shots was done last minute. This project was originally going to be a collab with those leads being played by the other party, but things didn't work out and I had to record those parts myself in order to get this video out on time. In retrospective I probably should of just recreated the lead shots I had already recorded. At some point I'll setup a dedicated space just for filming, but that's a long way away at this point.
Here Comes Trouble is a good intro song for a boss fight. I won't foget watching the demo stuff on the title screen, and they play it when Chompa swallows you without context. My 9 year old self had some figurative shat pants. So they did a good job with that theme.
Old King Coal is the easiest boss in the entire game in my opinion. Klungo 1-3 were pretty easy. That would be awsome
That Targitzan full version especially sounds like it'd be excellent based on the bit you did for this medley.
Hell yes!!
Gimme them all
Would love a full cover for Mr. Patch! But yes anything you do will be awesome
oh dude the vocals were a SICK touch
I'm just so happy there's more than one person who adores the soundtrack, killer medley man and thanks for letting me be a teensy part of it as tricky as timing was
Thanks Ro! Hopefully we can collab at some point in the future, was thinking of doing a 'Donkey Kong 64 Boss Medley' next year 😉

I will always hold the opinion that these boss themes are my favorite works from Kirkhope. Killer medley dude.
Banjo-Tooie's entire soundtrack is my favorite work from Kirkhope. The best gaming ost of all time imo

@@DYLZAL I played Banjo-Kazooie, but never felt like I want to try the second game. However, I think I will give it a try if I have a chance!
@@reggiegiygas6066 Be warned, there is more backtracking in Banjo Tooie than the original. It's also very easy to get lost because there is no map.
@@DYLZAL If you interested Hat in Time is a great successor, because it was inspired by the Bear and Bird.

1:14 Literally the most underrated song in the entire game
Well with the ice eggs later in the game, it makes look like a joke with that elemental weekness

Mingy Jongo’s theme was badass, the little chant with the ekum bokems was a nice touch
Your Mingy Jongo piece was AMAZING! I would LOVE to see an extended piece of it!
I can't believe more people haven't seen this. This is so well done. Outstanding execution.
I can't believe how good your cover of targitzans theme was, exceptional all round!

Those vocals! I never normally want them in a video game cover... but you, sir, got my exception. Smooth transitions, fantastic cover!
The fact that you lasted with the Mingy Jongo´s theme is special because is a variation of the mumbos theme
When I was younger I theorized that mingy was made in grunty industries.
Dude! I love the use of Eekum Bokum during Mingy Jongo!
Amazing!
I keep listening this on repeat! I love it!
Every time I hear Mr patches theme I am reminded of a world war one biplane taking on an inflatable balloon...
OMFG! I love yours Porter Robinson covers and now this... Banjo-Kazooie is my favorite game! ❤️
This is amazing!
Bro. You are a legend. This was amazing!!
Mr. Patch's weak point next to his tail was the bane of my existence.
OMG!!!! Why didn't I know about the existence of this video before!!!! This is beautifully sick!!!! Thanks for honouring our boy
Holy damn! this is by far the best Boss Medley of one of the most childhood gold games, thumbs up my man, my Horn goes to you, Skâl!
I'm incredibly happy to see you playing one of my favorite video game tunes with a Jackson Dinky (as another Dinky owner). Sick vocals! 😎
the first 10 seconds remind me of A jewel traced through coal from Dimmu Borgir
Thank you for doing such a precious work, its awesome
must've been a ton of fun work to put this together. great stuff!
This is just awesome! I love Banjo Kazooie/Tooie. I would love to hear more themes.
Thanks Dylan and great job!
Got me bobbing my head in the gym!!
Killer medley, my guy!
I enjoyed the vocal parts you added to some of them; nice touch.

great medley !!! Also liked the vocal parts a lot :)
Happy to be Like # 600. Incredible effort (and drive, given what it must have taken to achieve this). Feel good about it, and keep it up, friend!

so its all great but mr patch is a special one and you FUCKING SLAPPED IT OUTA HERE bravo
terry and welder fucking slapped too
Wow those vocals though 🤯😨 I'm in love with this! Bringing back the good memories, god I love this game! Definitely putting this in my playlist.
That was an absolute beast of a cover. I would love to see more Banjo Kazooie and other N64 games. Keep up the fantastic work dude!
This is incredible.
damn man, you made me feel like a kid again playing banjo tooie, good times, epic medley man keep up the awesome work

Klungo & patch, definitely my favs
This video made me realize that all the boss music is just remixed music from their own levels... I feel stupid.
but not the cloud world
This gave me an eargasm
Epic job my dude!
Amazing Work As Always
we NEED a full version of the Targitzan remix lmao
Nice!! Great arranging with the smooth transitions and capturing the best of each boss tune!!!
This is really well done! Great job man :D

the klungo one sounds like clankers cavern
Zero dislikes.
Excellent.❤️
Its been a while since ive heard family jewels
Old King Coal’s section was about as short as the boss fight itself if you go in with grenade eggs 😅
you are ewosame realy i like that work you are incredible
my favorite was the Targitzan remix. Can we get an extended version? Also what are the lyrics? Great job on the compilation bro!
Imagine if they remastered kazooie and tooie added more things intensified the boss fights and added this dudes soundtrack.
GREAT work dude, loved it!
How long you been playing guitar? 🙃
Thanks so much mate ❤️

Marvelous! Like the touches with the vocals!
Has Mr Kirkhope heard your interpretation of his work?
bravo!!

Yes!!!
Nice 😊
Is it just me or does the beginning of Klungo's theme kind of sounds like Spiral Mountain's theme?
