in ANY other style, these bosses might actually be absolutely terrifying to go up against. Thankfully the style of Banjo and Rare made them all somewhat cute!
Yep. The battles are totally different but I would agree that they are rather similar in design, especially the eyes. They also both serve the role of the World 4 boss. Hm... perhaps I should do the DK64 boss themes next.
TVthePunisher Welder and Mad Jack themes sound so alike. Same with Pufftoss, and Lord Woo Fak Fak soundtrack. The Hag 1 sounds kinda similar to the Army Dillo part 2 boss fight them in DK64 crystal caves level.
Beaz Richz you’re absolutely right about that. There’s a moment in the Hag 1 fight that I know exactly what you’re referring to. Rare has a certain way of spinning their boss music and it can sound similar to other works in different games but it still blends that worlds music to make something special. Though the Banjo and DK64 levels definitely have common themes. Easy ones are the Angry Aztec and Gobey’s Valley or even Hail-Fire Peaks. Grunty Industries and Frantic Factory, the entire last level of BT similar to Hideout Helm. Horror themed levels between both, snow...I could go on but i feel like they’re effectively a trilogy of games between two franchises the RARE Platformers. Make it a Quadrilogy with Conker haha
This is really awesome, how you gathered all of the bosses together! :) Also, my favourite boss is Terry. He only attacked you because he thought you had stolen his eggs! What a sweet parent!
+Painted_Leaf_Rewritten Thanks! I was surprised to find that no one had done this before me. Terry is a pretty cool boss, and and I love when you recover the eggs and get to see him playing with his kids.
Actually, Painted Leaf is right. Terry is a single father. If you talk to King Jingaling while he's a zombie, he'll mention Terry and the fact this his wife left him recently.
This is so awesome banjo tooie was and still is my favorite game of all time and my favorite bosses are chilly willy, and chilly Billy they were just so bad ass when I first faced them but the game has so much good music that it is hard to choose.
Other than Mr. Patch, I don't know how the boss rematch dialogue/cutscenes go(when/if you die against any of these bosses and have to fight them all over again)......
Actually never thought about the bosses having different themes. A lot of them sound very similar, prbly Klungo and Mr Patch are the most distinct to me.
@@Jamoney-sy9zy Love the design for Weldar, and love Grunty Industries, might be my favorite BT stage. But can't say I care about either of those boss fights 😅 Lord Woo Fak Fak was more interesting than either.
Fun Fact: Part 9:36 to 9:47 (Lord Woo Fak Fak) and 11:29 to 11:39 (Terry). These Parts are pretty similar or better to say: THEYRE THE SAME. Lord Woo Fak Fak has the samw theme only with a touch of some water theme. Terry has the same Theme with old Age Theme. If you see also no difference write a comment, so i see some humans know this cool fact. :)
Technically the boss themes are remixes of the _area_ where you fight the boss, seeing as how Lord Woo Fak Fak's theme is a remix of the Atlantis theme rather than the standard Jolly Roger’s Lagoon theme. So in a sense Mingy Jongo’s theme is a remix of his world’s theme, or rather his location - in a Mumbo Skull.
You're very welcome! I mean, a lot of modern games are good too, but certainly nothing can ever quite compare to how uniquely awesome Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie were.
i don,t understand the never made a rework version. ultra HD. old school version best. the just need to make a new version high graphics no game changes
That's what Nuts & Bolts was originally going to be before the higher ups on the team decided it'd be fun to make a game based on the new physics engine at the time. Would have had a smoothed out version of the same artstyle too.
For me the best themes are: 8:54 Lord Woo 11:03 Terry 15:19 The Twin Dragons 17:35 The Shamanator 😂 13:18 Whoops, nearly missed the poor "toilet cleaner " 😂😂

Grant Kirkhope could take any piece of music and turn it into an epic boss theme.
including Amazing grace?
Mr. Patch really stands out with its quick tempo and progression
It's so fitting considering it's a battle between a giant inflatable monster while you are forced to take flight to fight him lol

Nah, Lord Woo Fak Fak is still terrifying
@@NathanMargaglio it's also cruel AF, since you're literally shooting grenades at him to pop blisters on his skin.
Lord Woo Fak Fak reminds me a lot of that one fish boss you fight with Lanky Kong in DK64
Pufftoss?
Yep. The battles are totally different but I would agree that they are rather similar in design, especially the eyes. They also both serve the role of the World 4 boss. Hm... perhaps I should do the DK64 boss themes next.
music is identical too , but that's because they are both rareware games
Lord Woo Fak Fak’s, Targetzan’s and Welder’s themes are probably my favorite out of any of the other boss themes.
@the6runawayguysfan35 oh my god im so glad I'm not the only one who really knows there names 😅 ❤
Also, Mingy Jongo's theme is a remix of the Mumbo's Skull theme, not Cloud Cuckooland's theme, going off of the description.
Oh, you're right! Thanks for pointing it out. That's a silly mistake on my part.
I'll update the description right away!
Do you know Cloud Cuckoland theme actually is a Remix of Mumbo's Skull theme?
If Mingy Jongo never existed, who would have been the boss of Cloud Cuckooland? Maybe a bird?
Mingy is perfect as a boss for that world
It is indeed. I was so confused but I realized it.
Kinda cool how bits of each worlds music can be heard in the boss fights
SeniorSuiki my favorite thing about the N64 rare game soundtracks. DK64 did the same

The originally Mr. Patch and Lord Woo Fak Fak tracks are in Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Klungo is rearranged.
0:16 Your games endsssss here! - Klungo
I don't know why but these songs are catchy
THE ENTIRE GAME IS CACHY i don’t know why but still
I’ve lost my marbles so here I am. Reverting back to nostalgia as a form of coping with madness. I miss being a child.
Hope you are doing better my dude.
Even though the boss themes in Banjo-Tooie are just sped up remixes of the level themes I just love it
No, some of It has some changed note for the more spooky impression
I find it amusing that the only one out of these to get a remix for Smash Ultimate was Klungo... and it was a damn good remix
Weldar, Mr Patch, Old King Coal, Klungo, Lord Woo Fak Fak, and Targitzan are some of my favorite
Other than Mr. Patch, I don't know how the boss rematch dialogue/cutscenes go(when/if you die against any of these bosses and have to fight them all over again)......
The only difference between DK 64 and this game’s music is the tone.

Chilli Billi just like fire dragonfly in DK64
Lord Woo Fak Fak was a pain in the ass.

Old king coal done dirty with how pathetically easy he is with such a good ost
I hated grunties industries so much that I didn’t even know weldar was a boss until 15 years after playing this game for the first time
The xylophone really shines at two things, being a picture for the letter x in the alphabet and banjo music
