    Man I really appreciate you leaving in the part where you had the welder set wrong. I learned more from that than if you had just deleted that part and only had clips with everything set correctly. I just bought this welder and should have it tomorrow. I'm glad i stumbled onto your videos while trying to learn how to use it. Thank you and keep up the good work.

    Thanks for your insight with both of your videos I was looking at many reviews on multi use
    Welders for starter / hobby and narrowed it down to azunno and toolium after your light hearted video I now feel the toolium 250 would cover any small projects I may have.
    Will definitely give you a reference upon purchase, thanks again.

    Hey Chuck, really enjoyed both part 1 and 2 but really can't wait to see the 250 do some Aluminum. Kinda leaning towards this welder for the price/features. I've done flux core for years but new shop has no exhaust except an open door. Time to get some gas shielded mig going. Thanks for the vids, liked and subscribed.
    P.s. the humor makes the videos very entertaining, keep it up.

      Yeah, it has a teflon liner get pure argon and reverse polarity. I have done that on my other welders and it works really good. I havent tried it on this one yet though.

    I really appreciate all three of your videos especially the part where you screwed up and left it in there. I can relate with that. I’ve been trying to find a welder for aluminum in your review. Sent me to buy this Tooliom 250A welder. I saved your videos and subscribed, so I can keep going back and look at them. I can learn more on how to use this welder. Thanks again.

      Thanks brother. You can't go wrong with the 200. It's still the best welder for the money. I just used mine to weld 3/8" plate to a 2" square hitch. It had plenty of power and ran really smooth.

      @@rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles I bought that welder, what does the 2t and 4t mean?

    • @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles
      @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles  Рік тому +1

      2t is normal MIG. Pull the trigger to weld, let off to stop. 4t is for production work with automated fixtures. You pull the trigger and let off to start the weld, do it again to stop. Let's the weld continue with you not touching the torch. 99.9% of people would never use it.

    Yeah just turn off that auto setting thing and turn up or down amps/volts and the wire speed. Cool video. Yeah you just need to make sure you have gas pressure and play with the knobs/nipples. Lol

    Haven't welded for 30 year, but I just got my Mom's 1979 Camaro Berlinetta and it needs lots of steel metal work. I heard there are welders with a spot wrld settings. Ever use or review one?

    • @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles
      @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles  Рік тому +2

      I have heard of them but never used one. Not really sure how that would work with delicate work. The timer would probably mess me up if I wasn't in position yet. I'd prefer to just use a regular MIG setting and just blip the trigger a second when I was ready. Plus when doing sheet metal with tacks, you want to skip around to allow the metal to cool and keep down the warping. Good luck on the Camaro.

    • @jsnjcnt
      @jsnjcnt 10 місяців тому

      @@rpmchuck-nitrouschroniclesyeah thats what i would do, i have a thermal dynamics 250 and it has a spot and burn back timer. I dont like the spot setting. Just use the trigger for thin stuff and use .023 wire.

    Would you reccommend the welder? I'm a welder by trade and I need to upgrade my shop welder I got a miller that can only weld 3/16 and it has been having a lot of trouble popping and not penetrating. And I want something that can mig and tig so I don't have to buy 2 seperate welders. I don't want to spend over 500. I know you are probably sponsored by tooliom but i'm looking for an honest suggestion.

    • @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles
      @rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles  Рік тому

      Not sponsored. I just needed a replacement a year ago and tried the 200. I think it is a pretty solid machine and probably impossible to beat for the price. I still think the 200 is a better value for most people unless you need the extra power and manual mode option on the 250. The TIG function is only lift start. No high frequency start and no way to run a pedal amp control.

    • @ModernBeastx1
      @ModernBeastx1 Рік тому +1

      @@rpmchuck-nitrouschronicles I have almost no experience with tig though I have done some research on lift tig and I think I would be fine with lift tig. I want to basically start practicing tig and get decent enough to weld a full exhaust system for my s10 truck I'm building. Thanks for the reply buddy!

      That one only has the synergy settings. You have to throw out conventional MIG settings and just use the chart to pick the amp setting and adjust from there if it needs it. Check out my video on it and you will see how easy it is.
