I had an 08 a few years back. It does it, but it’s not too much fun in Texas on I-10 where 75 really means 90+ to all the cars around you lol. But yea it does it.

I drive my 250 X Quite frequently on my i -95 in Florida, No problem whatsoever! I knew a guy that drove one every day on the freeway to work at 85 mph and his engine had a issue after 45,000 miles of that, but he claims he put Snowmobile oil in it ,So who knows? Mine Has 20,000 miles and absolutely flawless👍

Speedo is 10mph off at higher speeds. You got to around 75mph. On a naked bike, that's getting pretty windy anyway.
Actual speeds: 55-65mph is very comfortable and capable. 65-75 gets windy and you lose some passing ability. 75-85 is very windy and you only have gradual acceleration. 85+ is possible but is uncomfortable and only incremental acceleration.

My 2019 WR250r with stock gearing is seven mph under indicated speed compared to Google navigation.

My 2020 WR's speedo is about 4mph over the actual speed as indicated by a GPS speed app. Stock gearing. I've not done a top speed run though..

I had a little Honda CRF250L for a few years and used travel just over 60 miles every day to work and back on it.
This was all using the motorway.
I was very happy with it. Struggled up some of the hills, but got it to cruise around 80 or 90 mph...

@@MultiFab14 I never had an issue with carburetors. Fuel injection is nice though but you need a fuel pump and if the FI fails you need the right adapter to test the fuel pressure, then you have to check the fuel injector as well.

You’ll have to downshift but not the end of the world. Most people go the other way because it doesnt have much torque down low

It all depends on gearing. Most people myself included, gear down to make it more snappy. After this vid did you do any mods? They rip pretty good when modded. ua-cam.com/video/qruM24Ifrw4/v-deo.html
