Consistency is hard when your ADHD brain doesn't produce enough dopamine and distracting thoughts ruin your attempts to get things done.
Follow these 5 steps to start following through on your goals:
1. Set-up routines
2. Switch Things up
3. Break down your goal
4. Know what you are doing it for
5. Improve your overall lifestyle

Thank you! I rely on comments like yours!
It was a long long commercial intro
😂
😂
thank you. that product feels like a scam. it would help to link to 3rd party test results beyond what the brand might offer up.
Building habits and actually doing them have definitely given me a sense of satisfaction that I did complete some task and then feel motivated to do some more. I had no idea I might have ADHD, I found myself resonating with a lot of adhd memes on instagram and then I found your channel a few days back. I think I have adhd, it should probably get myself diagnosed. Thank you for your videos. Currently hyperfixating on your channel😂
Man, my house has been a construction zone for years...Other than electrical and roofing I do everything myself and every room has that one thing I just didn't finish...I think I've now identified the problem...My ADHD brain 🤣
May of taken 2 weeks to hit play, but glad I finally did. Thank you for yet another wonderful ADHD support video right when I needed it.
Having a list in full view where ever you need to be in the morning.
Max 3 things, and nr.4 should be where to go next.
Toilet morning.
Brush teeth
Take bath
Breather
Go to kitchen
Kitchen morning
Make food
Make coffee
Drink water
Go living room
If you get out of the routine, check list and let the list be your brain and buddy.
That's a great idea! I'm good with my waking up and starting the day routine. It's after that where I struggle especially since I've stopped working and the kid's are grown. I used to have other people's schedules to work around but know I have absolutely NO schedule. I always have a "To Do" list both for the week an then broken down to daily task's. It's transitioning between task's that's the real problem. I'll try adding the transition from one location in the house to another and see if it help's. Thanks for the suggestion! 👍
@@ruvoodoo4862 glad to help 😁
This sounds silly on the face of it but my brain said “that’s a good idea!” So I’m going to try it. I’m so distractable so can’t hurt to try!
@@kathiejl1 works for me 😅
I may or may not have had to restart a few parts after zoning out… but I’m newly understanding that my issues I’m most frustrated with in life are ADHD related .. I’ve never been treated or anything so I’m going to get started but it’s nice to know that I’ve been doing good things for myself!! I’ll definitely try the getting out to focus on the task if I can option!!
I increase the watch speed so it’s quicker and keeps my attention! Otherwise i zone out because people don’t speak fast enough 😅
Great way to lose an audience with ADHD: spend the first 3 minutes of a video on advertisements 😹
This was helpful. I've struggled with this so much and it's affected my life a lot. Gonna try the magic mind too!
Amazing tips! I'm so thankful for finding this, will adjust my morning routine. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much @adhdvison! This is a godsend for me! I started a coding boot camp on top of work and I had a few breakdowns and I suspected I have adhd but this course is making me really face things! And maybe I do need to take extra care with things other people find easier
You say to build habits, but my question is how to do it when u r not consistent
little by little. Step by step. First, some minutes a day…until that in intenalized, and then, after some weeks, you begin to keep adding dificulties
I think as first habit try a good workout plane with jumping exercise
Wow this video spoke to me! All your secrets really is something I’d tried to figure out with but you explaining gave me the answer. I really need to continue in the morning I noticed I do everything compared to mid morning or afternoon.
will watch later for sure
Thank you !! So much I am 57. And u are making so much sense
Hey Nick! Enjoyed the video. This may seem obvious, but could you give an example of some of the goals that you’re setting? Also maybe talk a bit about how different people have different size goals? I’m not sure how to put what I’m trying to say.
Congratulations on your sponsor 💓
Tnx man!
I just found this channel. Where are you? Why don’t you post anymore. What a great channel.
Thank you
Consistent routines have been key for me gaining momentum and staying motivated towards achieving my goals.
My current challenge is creating an effective routine for after my work day is completed and I return home. My before work morning routine is working out great but once Im home I shut down.
I was discussing with my wife a few days ago that rather than going home immediately after work, I’ll be stopping off at our local library to work on my side hustle for an hour or two.
The library is literally a 2 minute drive from our home and so I don’t have to worry about a long commute afterwards adding to my stress.
My morning routine has been great but I can’t afford to get up any earlier than I currently am and not having an afternoon routing was killing my gains.
Thanks for the video. It was great confirming that I’m on the right path as I was already implementing many of your suggestions in my life’s routine.
Why is your face so beautiful!
Also nice vid
Take care 🌻
I didn't finish the vide
Does the Magic Mind drink replace caffeine or is in addition?
can you please tell me the name of the guitar song :)
What's your experience with Matcha compared to Coffee? I went back to Matcha for the productivity benefits
Are you from Belgium?
I've really been enjoying your videos lately. Building a good foundation of routines and habits is one of the most important changes I'm trying to make.
How do you personally track these things and remind yourself to do them? I have a bit of trouble remembering to look at my list :D
Hey Madison, thanks for the lovely comment. I have journal that I use to keep track of them and follow "The Bullet Journal" Method. I would recommend looking it up..might make a video on this pretty soon aswell ;)
@@adhdvision Cool! Looking forward to it. Lately I've been using Notion to try and keep all my info in one place-- useful but some habits just haven't stuck yet :D
One of my symptoms is getting incredibly frustrated waiting for people to get to the point. The video starts at 2:40
Me too! I never knew this was an ADHD symptom, most people think I'm just a rude boar for getting irritated when they take forever to get to the point.
"LET ME TAKE A MOMENT TO THANK YOU, AS WELL!" ay
Nice
I skipped like half of it i have 0 patient hahha
Cool
Coffee is like crack for me. No coffee thank you.
Motivation lol what is motivation. I do not think I know this word. 😂
Starts at 2:40
OK...I know what my goals are, and I know how important they are...but I am going in circles and circles and never getting into them. It doesn't matter how important they are, and I know it. I can't find a way to reach them. Are you really ADHD? Do you really understand? This video makes me doubt that. In the coffee place would be way too many distractions to concentrate on writing. I'm thinking you don't really know what to have ADHD really feel likes and means.
Maybe don’t start a video aiming to help people with ADHD with a massive sponsor segment…
For clarity, it’s not the optics or morality… it’s the fact that I, and likely many others, have already shut off by the time you start shaking a a drink
@@deanxavier_ that’s on you
@@awwyoumad not really... if the target demo has an issue with the format of the video then it's important to understand as a creator
Looked up that drink and, as usual, it’s so expensive.
Most people do. If I don’t like it, I fast forward it.
Ok, I am over 3 minutes in and still not heard anything useful 😮🤔😡 Is this a language or simply communication issue?
Realise you are a non native English speaker so may struggle to get to the point🤔
I looked it up, Magic Mind has 55mg of caffeine per bottle🤦♂️
