The Lazy Mom's Guide to Summer School (Funny Reading Eggs Commercial)

Every year you guys, every year I say I am going to school through the summer. And yet every year life just get's away from me: parades and events and camping and vacations and on and on we go. These days it is pretty much 30 minutes on the iPad and I'm calling it good. They are at least getting a refresh in reading/LA and math and it keeps us going through the summer plus I can bring it anywhere, do it in the car, etc.

Trick is, never buy one for them. Haha But really, none of my 4 have ever had one. They have had a cupcake frappuccino occasionally. As in a special.birthday treat and maybe one another time in the year.

We only bought them once because of the Flat Stanley book and now they always ask if we go (not too often, but nonetheless!)

The tip was don't stress over summer schooling, you can do something easy like Reading Eggs or some other educational game online.
