I recommend starting with "A Dozen a Day" (warm & scales book), Any reccomended theory book, & a repetoire/pieces book, all in the level gr.1 tho you could start with any set of gr.1 books you wish, but I reccomended at least 1 scale/warm up book, a theory book, and a pieces/repetoire book. Start with the theory book to learn what each key is on the piano, what a time signature & key signature is, etc. then go on to scales, keys, etc. till you get the hang of them. then move on to warm ups & pieces Usual practice sessions start with a warm up (could be any simple or complex bit of music, usually short but some pianists use a bit of another piece to warm up), then go on to playing a piece over & over again until you iron out the problems. Repeat the next day. Warming up is not necessarily required but it can help, ESPECIALLY if you are just starting out I reccomend not skipping warm ups. Remember to practice scales, etc. & a few theory sheets often. Doesn't have to be every day, but try to make it regular. Tip: When playing - • Sit up right (you can change your posture once you've gotten more comfortable with piano) • play with the pads and tips of your fingers (I was always told as a kid to think of it like spider hands, don't have your full finger on the keys) • REMEMBER THE METRONOME! (If you want to improve well-being, you'll have to use a metronome. It helps SO much with rhythm & tempo) •Always go at your own pace (when you first start something it will take time to get it up to speed, start as slow as you need and work up in small increases) If you have any questions on how to be able play parts you just can't seem to get or questions on anything else let me know. as someone who studies with paper often and who spends a bunch of time drawing and using my fingers, these exercises are great to release built up tension and loosen my wrist! def recommend for less stiff hands as well as the elongating exercise

Пальцы у меня достаточно длинные, просто хочу похудеть в них. 17.06.24 - 17.07.24 1 день: утро- сделала, но не доконца, потому что после первого упр болят руки. My hands looked much different
day one: my fingers are aready leaner and thinner! but only a few minutes after the exercise
day two: not a lot of change, but feeling better!
day three: lmao I did this like ten times today, but I can defo see the difference!!! better knucklebones and thinner fingers!
day four: my fingers hurt so much today, so I just played piano for longer :D
day five: I can see the literal HUGE DIFFERENCE, I don't need to stretch my fingers out to palm a basketball that much anymore!

day 2: ✅ again it was good! and i felt a little pain in my fingers but it was relaxing at the same time
day 3: ✅ I didn't feel any pain today, and I'm noticing few differences :D
day 4: ✅ I felt some pain in my palms but not in my fingers
Day 5: ✅ I forgot to write but no pain and I already notice that my fingers are growing a little longer!

I did this and became my habit every day, I do it unexpectedly when im watching something or stretching my hands after painting in a long period of time, id say this was helpful

1 день-все хорошо, не болит , так как помазала кремом, ручки стали как у младенца(мягкие, и не тяжёлые)
2 день-уже появляются косточки, вены появляются, чучуть скинули и стали тонкими
Я перестала делать это упражнение, стала делать другой. Очень эффективный

Day 1-My fingers are very skinny but not bony so i will start this excersise!its a bit hurtful but in relaxing later,i am excited for the results!
Day 2- Surprisingly my knuckles are a tiny bit more visible in a short Time!
Day 3-I am super schocked on how well this worked😮!!!today i didnt go to school so i had alot of free time,i did this like 8 times💀(yes i seem crazy)but my fingers are very longer than day 2!
Day 4-I was getting an AC in my room at morning so I only did this 2 times after the ac was plugged in I do see a slight difference than day 3 tho
Day 5-My cat died today I was very sad today😔I only did this 2 times,but knuckles can be seen a tiny bit more
Day 6-Did it 3 times today,same as day 5
Day 7-(I forgot to do day 7)💀
Day 8-I am gonna do an extra day since I forgot to do day seven but whatsoever I do see slight improvements
Day 9-My fingers look longer than before so as slimmer,I'm seeing good improvement!❤
