I’ll go for the RAV4:for reliability. European cars in NZ have not got the greatest name for reliability.

@@johnmartin7158 Kind of a toss up being that its Batteries vs Gas powered engine, the volvo comes with 8 year 100k warranty on the battery pack.

Yes, AWD on Hybrid is not attached to a physical Torque Converter. In gas model it is, so maybe gas has better Torque? I don’t know

Should have tested the RAV4 in Mud&Sand Mode where the traction control is turned off.

In testing cars, use same modes and same tires for more accurate comparison. This not the same comparison.

The test is irellevant. All season tyres are not ment for heavy snow. Equip them with snow tyres and redo the test
