What are your favorite NASCAR races ever?
All of them that jimmie won
2017 Dover Spring no doubt
2019 1000bulbs 500, 2020 Geico 500, 2015 Goody’s 500, 2017 Pocono 400
2014 Daytona 500
2020 Coke Zero Sugar 400
WILLAY
The Iceberg: *Dale Jr simp*
Also Iceberg: *Has best race with Jr winning*
6:05 *It was at this moment my joy went to mass spiraling pain.*
Your here too? 🤔
Hehe oh why
Brickyard 2014 Gordon scoring his 5th and 90th win felt so good. I really thought at the time he was going to make it to 100 Cup wins.
I'm sure had Nascar kept that package, he definitely would've
Beats the Silver Fox maybe
Why was the call of the 2014 500 final lap so perfect😂That FOX trio was incredible
The absolute best. Mike Joy is one the greatest. DWs excitement and quotes are great.
"Oh we got a wreck!"
“Good job June bug!”
2011 Ford 400 was the perfect ending to the most exciting chase race ever. The 2000 and 2001 spring Atlanta races are also a couple of my favorites.
2012 Finger Lakes 355 at the Glen, an underappreciated classic!
2019 Fall 'Dega Race was *AWESOME*
I agree. My favorite race as well.
That will probably be my favorite forever.
Wait, The Iceberg is a Jr fan?
Always has been.
2014 Daytona 500 was an AWESOME race with a great and memorable finish. It was also the first Daytona 500 I saw on TV.
im a huge dale jr fan and i was at that race
Thank you for including Jeff's 3rd 500 win
2000 Brickyard 400 is probably my favorite race I ever got to watch live. Being a Bobby Labonte fan it was awesome watching him win at such a historic track even though my 4 year old self probably didn't comprehend it at the time. Another classic although much more painful for me was 05 Coke 600. I fell in love with Bobby's FedEx scheme and hated Jimmy for stealing the win.
Did anyone else know he was going to pick the 2012 June Michigan race, he's only said it 50 times
My favorite race from this time period you mentioned...
Is the 2014 Daytona 500
All time favorite race was the 1991 Hanes 500 as that was the very first nascar race I saw and Dale Earnhardt got his 50th win that day.. a fan for life.
My favorite race is and will always be the 2019 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega last year. There was so much that happened to me on October 13-14 that year, and all I can say that it was an emotional roller coaster. This race made me feel like myself again, and it officially made Talladega my favorite track. The racing itself was fabulous, especially towards the end. It was a crazy race for sure and a crazy few days for me.
My parents went to the 1992 hooters 500 on their 1 year anniversary. Pretty badass on its own but they also sponsored a lap and got pit passes and met a few drivers including Earnhardt and Davey Alison before qualifying. They also went to a banquet and got to have dinner with Bobby Alison and Harry Gant. Love your content dude you're my favorite Nascar UA-camr! I got to go to my first race in Vegas 2019. Keep up the good vids man. Crazy that you got to go to Dale's win at Michigan in 2012. As a Jr. fan that is epic. #TheDarkKnight
I’ve literally watched the 2014 Daytona 500 ending so many times I was saying it out loud when it came on haha. So many years of heartache in our family watching Dale jr. We all freaked out when he won. Definitely one of my favorites for sure. He obviously wasn’t his dad, but he became his own man and we loved him for it. 🤘
2014 Daytona 500 will forever by my favorite race by a long shot. My dad and I took the motor home down to Daytona beach for the 500 with us staying at the KOA a short distance from the track. I got to attend the duels on Thursday night, the truck race on Friday, the Xfinity race on Saturday which was also my 18th birthday which let me and my dad pick up our garage passes and then the 500 on Sunday. My driver Jeff Gordon finished 3rd that day.
Very very good editing in this video Berg.
2011 homestead is definitely a fantastic race. The way Tony fought and Carl being so good and Tony getting the title as owner driver just a few years after starting the team. Great race
I remember almost all of these and i still have chills watching a few of them.
I was the biggest Jeff Gordon fan since the age of 2 in 1996, but I never got to see him win a race in person. Then he retired and I was pretty bummed that I would never get that opportunity. Then I go to the 2018 Watkins Glen International race with my new favorite driver and like you, I cried quite a bit because I have never seen my driver win in person before that day. Now 2020 is over and I may have had a similar reaction from my living room since 2001, I was 7 and I could not appreciate it fully back then. That is probably my favorite race of the bunch of Loudon races I have been to, a handful of WGIs, 2 Dovers, and 1 Charlotte. NASCAR has been my sport my entire life, I could name #, driver, sponsor, team, manufacturer of the full field when I was about 6 years old, and I do not think I have ever missed a race since watching it. Passionate fans like us are why NASCAR is the greatest sport ever, such a niche and family sport!
Was at the ‘13 Auto Club race. I don’t think Kyle Busch got that kind of ovation when he won in Vegas.
People went crazy over that finish.
Yo i was there too
It’s cool that the 05 500 was both our first flag to flag race! I remember sitting in front of the old box TV to watch this race!
Mines gotta be the 2007 Daytona 500. My first race I saw and it got me hooked for that cool yellow car which managed to pull it off
Still feel horrible for Mark Martin, though.
2016 ford ecoboost 400. I was there and it
Was a hell of a show
my favorite race: tie between Jimmie's 7th Championship, and Chase Elliott's First.
my family is a Hendrick Family, i cant help it
Lmao. Whats cool. My dad loved bill Elliott when he drove. And now i love chase Elliott. What do you think the chances are?!
7:23 I agree 100%, this race was so good, Kyle vs Kyle in the final 10 laps was so amazing to watch. This was the last Nascar race I attended, and probably the last I'll attend for quite some time, but it's such a good memory.
I was at fontana in 2013 I'll never forget Kyle Busch doing burnouts and no one cared lol Dale Jr running up through the field in the 2010 500 was amazing too
10. 2017 Kyle Busch Bristol Sweep
9. 2019 Kentucky
8. 2019 Fall TALLADEGA
7. 2014 Daytona 500
6. 2011 Championship
5. Jeff’s final win
4. 2019 Daytona 500
3. 2016 Sonoma
2. 2019 Championship
1. 2015 Championship
The first race I watched live was the first pro invitational race and I loved it. Started learning more about nascar got my dad and grandpa into it and we watched the darlington race and loved it. I also watched the Texas summer race in person and while it was hot a hell me and my dad loved it and now we already have tickets for all star race and plan to watch the Texas playoff race. We are now big fans of almost all thing racing now
One of the most engaging ones for me. The 2020 Xfinity 500. I WAS GLUED TO THAT POINTS COUNTER THE WHOLE DAMN RACE. MY HEART WAS JUMPING OUT OF MY CHEST THROUGH THE LAST RESTART, PRAYING that Harvick could get it done, even though I was heartbroken it didn’t happen, that was one of the best races I have watched.
14 year old me cried in 2015 when Carl Edwards won the Southern 500. You aren't alone with that, man.
The September 2014 race will always be my favorite race. I grew up a Jeff Gordon fan. Had attended a lot of races to that point, including the past 6 fall Dover races. Not only did Jeff win, but I was lucky enough to have hot passes for the weekend and got to spend the race behind Jeff's pit stall. That and I was with my best friend, and the whole reason we're friends is because I wore a Jeff Gordon shirt to soccer practice in 5th grade. It doesn't get much better that that! Unless Chase wins a race in at with my Dad. The whole reason I'm into racing is because of him.
That is awesome choosing NASCAR over school !!!
Love your choice for 5th. That was my first race watched from start to finish. I had decided the winner would be who I'd root for... funny how Jeff Gordon ended up winning. I regret nothing!!
My favorite one’s off the top of my head are the 2015 fall Martinsville race, the 2007 Daytona 500, The 2020 Charlotte roval XFINITY road race, the 2018 Chicagoland race. I’m sure there are many others but those are just ones off the top of my head.
Listening to DW in some of these clips make me miss him more as an announcer. My favorite race tho was the 2017 Daytona 500
My favorite race is probably my first race and that was the 2006 Ford 400. It wasn’t the best race ever but it got me hooked on the sport and made me a huge Jimmie fan. The bittersweet part of it was it was the fact that it was Benny Parson’s last race before he passed away. I loved hearing his voice with Bill Weber and Wally Dallenbach. I go back and watch that race frequently just for the nostalgia.
#10 should be #1. A race- long display of driving skill. The number of cars he passed overall (multiple times) was phenominal.
Jeff Gordon fan so I’m biased. But my favorite ever was seeing Jeff win his last race at Martinsville. What a moment
My favorite race is June Pocono 2011. It was my first ever race and my favorite driver Jeff Gordon won. This was the best day of my life and it even made my dad become a NASCAR fan which made it even better.
Good song choice on the intro bit
2001 Pepsi 400 at Daytona! It was a complete ass-kicking by Dale Jr after losing his dad! It was the start of the healing for all of NASCAR and it was one of the most amazing event's that i've seen in my 47 years. I personally recorded and kept all the Cup races for many years and i'm happy I did. PEACE!
I was at 06 Michigan, 11 Chicago, and 18 Chicago too! I think I was about 13 for the 2011 Chicagoland race and got to ditch school too! It was awesome to see everyone run out of fuel at the end
Both the 2007 Daytona 500 and the 2007 Pepsi 400 fantastic races and brilliant coverage from FOX and TNT
2014 Kansas night race is my favorite race. The racing was great (as usual at Kansas), and it had comers and goers. Many of my favorite races were in 2014.
2010 Aaron's 499. The most competitive race ever and a great finish. Definitely one of the greatest races of all time.
2013 Aaron’s 499 was amazing
As a fellow Jr fan, I wish you could've seen the 01 Pepsi 400. I watched with my grandparents and it was one of the few times we were allowed to stay up for as kids at my grandparents' cabin.
My favorites are:
1. 2015 Goody's Headache Relief 500
2. 2016 Toyota Savemart 350
3. 2016 Ford Ecoboost 400
4. 2017 Pocono 400
5. 2018 Gobowling.com 355
6. 2018 Bank of America Roval 400
7. 2019 Geico 500
8. 2019 1000bulbs.com 500
9. 2020 GoBowling 235
10. 2020 Season Finale 500
The 2005 Daytona 500 was my first race, I'll never forget it.
Iceberg great list my top 5 are 98 Daytona 500 Sr finally getting the win, 2000 fall Talladega Sr's last win unfortunately, 2000 Jr.'s first cup win, Harvick's Daytona win 07 and 2014 Homestead Harvick's Cup Championship win.
2014 Daytona 500 was probably my favorite race for what it was, I'd just lost my mother and for 2 1/2 hours that night I was that 11 year old watching Nascar with my mother again ( even though I was watching it at the base bar for the marine corps ) he's always been mine and my mothers favorite driver, if there's ever a reason I will always watch Nascar its cause for 3 hours on a Sunday she's with me again
14 year old me cried when Jeff won at Kansas in 2014, it's all good 😉
@GN he'd have been champion under Winston cup points that year... which is one reason I still hold that Jeff was better than Jimmie.
@@aviserig who cares who was better between jeff and jimmie because...........................dale was better than both
@@nascarfan8891 I must 100% agree... I'll be even more controversial and say that he was better than Petty.
@@aviserig in my opinion dale is nascars greatest ever
2019 Daytona 500! Hands down! Also pocono race 2 in 2019!
Pocono is probably the most boring track. I wish they added a high drafting package that would never spread out the field.
@@RhygonGG Pocono isn’t nearly as boring as Indianapolis oval and unpaved Atlanta
@@rudyk5518 true. I wish one of the Atlanta races were at night becuase a night race could save the racing. Also Martinsville usually provides some good racing
Dude the tickets I got to 2015 Martinsville race that was Jeff's last win was also a birthday present from my parents lol It was my favorite IN PERSON race, but my favorite race I watched is a tossup of 3 races 2014 Daytona 500 Jr win, Chase Elliott's Martinsville win to lock him in final 4, & Chase Elliott's Championship clinching win at Phoenix.
Tony winning Indy in 05, Jeff Gordon wining his 3rd 500 and Jimmie winning the 05 600. Coincidentally all in 2005, nonetheless those are my favorites.
That Martinsville rave was my favorite because I'm a huge Jeff Gordon fan. My second favorite was the battle between Tony and Carl. My third favorite is the Kyle and Kyle Show at Chicagoland.
The 2004, 2010, and 2017 seasons were my favorite for the fact that every race went the full distance or into overtime. The full distance only counts for 2010 and 2017. As for 2004, definite. I have been to 10 races, but some were snooze fests and one was shortened. I was at the last Xfinity event at Nazareth (2004) which saw Truex steal the win, and three of the five Xfinity events at Pocono, with two being awesome (2017, 2019). For Cup, my all-time favorite is the 2014 Pocono 400. I've seen two Truck races with the 2010 inaugural event being insane. I've been to 6 Cup events, 5 Xfinity events, 2 Truck events, 2 ARCA events, and 2 IndyCar events.
I remember that Michigan race when jr won that year for all the wrong reasons this time but everyone in my house that day wanted him to win :)
best race for me was definitely the 2018 daytona 500. i live in new england so Ive only had been to New Hampshire and Pocono. going to Daytona and walking out to the grandstands to this massive track w cars going 200 nose to tail was insane
Oh yeah I'll never forget the 2013 Auto Club 400 even though I missed some of it at the time when I didn't feel like going anywhere. I also will never forget the 2007 Daytona 500 that was the coolest Daytona 500 race on Fox I got to watch since it ended at night.
I am a "former" NASCAR fan. Born in 1990 and was a Dale SR/JR fan. My interest started going away in the late 2000s with the but have been enjoying your videos. And it's sparking interest. What are a couple races from this year that will help me get back in the spot that I should watch?
I think the second martinsville would be a good one for you
I'm a kyle busch fan and I remember losing my mind at auto club in 2013 that's gotta be my favorite. My first race being at the track was the 2016 fall martinsville race is one of my favorites and the fall martinsville race the next year ( 2017) my guy kyle Busch won. and the 2015 championship race gotta be up there
2018 AAA Texas 500
Reason: I have been to Texas 3 times butI didn't go when Kevin Harvick won in 2017 at my hometrack. So in 2018, I got a hot pass for the fall race & went with my best friend, met Kevin Harvick & Rodney Childers earlier that day & wished them both luck. Few hours later, they won the race & I was there to see it. Been a Nascar Fan since 2000 & been to Texas 4 times, best day of my life. Can't wait to go to a few races in 2021.
#8 was the exact same scenario for me, except for the 2018 brickyard 400, with that great finish and it was the first race i had ever gone to
I was an adult and not a jr fan and I teared up when he won that day.
Obviously number 1 is a dale jr win
I’ve already been watching replays of races
2007 Daytona 500, first race I watched and what a finish!
The Iceberg:Loves 1992 Hooters 500 and does not ad it
Fans: Triggered
S1apsh0es:ULTIMATE TRIGGERED
Also the 2012 Quicken loans 400 is my son's favorite race of 2012 season and second of all time behind 2017 Firekeepers casino 400 because it is his first ever race.
Saw that same Michigan race on tv when I was younger
Iceberg is too young to experience NASCAR's glory days
That I was there for was the Auto Club 400 where Harvick passed JJ on the last turn on the last lap!
Imagine being a lifetime die hard Gordon fan and your 2012 Michigan moment was 2015 martinsville.... that’s how it was for me. (Although I did see Gordon win the same race 2 years prior when he did the crazy burnout)
I could only imagine what the June 2012 Michigan race felt like, I unfortunately, I didn't start going to Michigan races until 2015
The 2005 Daytona 500 was my very first race and was the only time I ever got to see my favorite driver, Jeff Gordon, win in person also
I'll just go with favorite races I've been to in person. 1999 food city 500 (Dale rattling Labontes cage), 2001 Pepsi 400, 2014 Homestead (nothing like watching your driver wins the championship in person) and 2015 coke zero 400 (last time seeing Jr win in person and Dillon in the fence at 2:30 A.M.)
The first race I watched was the 2017 Daytona 500. My favorite race is the only race I’ve been to, the 2019 Digital Ally 400 @ Kansas. I also went to the truck race the night before. I was hoping to go to another race this year, but... ya know
liked video 👍🏁🏆
My list of all of the races I've been to : 2017 ISM Connect 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
2010 Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen, only because it is the one and only nascar race i have been to in my life. My dad and i got burnt to a crisp in the August sun and spent the entire ride home yelling Juan Pablo out the window of his car.
I can’t say I have a favorite race but one of my favorite moments to a ending of a race is the Jimmie Johnson Carl Edwards finish at Kansas I believe.
That "Gordon wins at Martinsville!" still gives me chills
Atlanta 2001 Harvick winning in the 3rd race after we lost Dale. I cried like a baby.
My first race I watched live was the 2001 Pepsi 400 as a young JR fan it was electric.
2011 is underrated as a whole season. Agree with the Ford 400 being on there but to me should be a little higher. And also the 2010 Aaron’s 499 is another race that is my favorite and I feel very underrated not only cause I was there but 88 lead changes and my then 2nd favorite now favorite driver Harvick win in person
I was also at the 2013 auto club race. I was heartbroken at the end of the race.
I was at the 2015 Coke Zero 400, Got to see Dale Jr. Win (Yep, I’m also a Jr. Fan, as well as a Chase Fan) and of course the infamous Crash that you all know.
For the 2012 Michigan race, I still have the end of the race filmed on my old Flight 2 phone. Still one of my personal favorites
You should do top 10 nascar champions that deserved that championship that year. Cause sometimes a random person wins the championship that probably shouldn’t have. Idk
i got to see larson win at richmond in 2017 and that was my first race!
*Me after the guidelines are set* "2011 Homestead better be on here"
Me a minute later: "Good. Low, but good."
My favorite race was the 2015 Goody's Headache Relief 500
I've being playing Nascar 07 on my ps2 for the past couple of days because I needed my dose of oval racing😅
2004 Southern 500 for me
I don’t really know why but it think it was the fact that Jimmie won and also it was the only Southern 500 in November
You’re lucky to have had the 2005 Daytona 500 as your first race. My first race was the Richmond Spingate race. AND I’m a lifetime Bowyer fan. Yikes.
Michigan would be my favorite track, my daughter and I have both gotten our drivers to sign for when going there. To bad they only have one race there this season
2005 coke 600 has a special place in my heart I was born a week later after the race
