Haha, once I defected to the Dark Side in early 2014 (MAC, Logic and all other OS X apps I use) I don't want to ever change. The force is simply too strong! ;) Sincerely, Mike
Thank's a lot! Very helpful and useable info! 10 Points!!! :) There are not enough new Logic tips around! Please give us more, you are so clear and easy to follow in your instructions! And that is so rare! Most teachers on youtube act as if the audience already knows what they are showing them?
Thank you Roman, I'm glad you like my videos. Check out my new video on the amazing Logic update that was just released. I am sure you will like these new features! =) Sincerely, Mike
Most workflow features can translate at least between the biggest DAWs. I'm waiting for you to enter one of the composition challenges in my FB Group Luis! ;) Sincerely Mike
@@mikaelbaggstrom Thank you, I would like to finish some projects and have free time to start taking up the challenges again. Although it seems that the projects are looking for me and not the other way around xD
Hmm perhaps you need to change the default behavior in the key command editor. I don’t remember doing that myself, but perhaps I did long ago. Sincerely Mike
Look into your key commands. The correct function is "Repeat Regions/Events" and the default key command is Command R. If its something else you need to change it in the key commands window.
hello, becouse you are a logic expert i wanna ask you for a honest opinion, im a logic user for more than 9 years and I recently tried cubase 10, and first I have noticed is that it has more open and clean sound, I spoked with my friends logic users and they say they think the same as me..can you say why is that difference in sound and is there a way to make logic sound better? maybe pan law setting or else..? regards
Not really, I switched FROM Cubase after 8 years of using it. And I loved Logic so much that I switched to Mac from PC in 2014. There is not really a difference in the sound engine in any of the major DAWs in my experience. But of course, how you pan, how you use send effects, and mix etc. makes a huge difference. Sincerely, Mike
@@mikaelbaggstrom try if you have a chance cubase 10...just to tell do you hear any difference, I love logic its my daw for a long time but Im so confused now about the sound..regards
@@foxproduction4554 Well, I have chosen to become an expert of one DAW, which is why I won't probably use any other. I used many many DAWS from 1998 until 2014 when I dived deep in Logic. Much better to master one in my personal experience at least. =) Sincerely, Mike

didn't catch how you copy across the section - did you say you hold down open(option?)key?
Hello Max, yes option key + left-click the mouse and drag. =)
Sincerely,
Mike
@@mikaelbaggstrom thanks - option = alt key as I've just googled
Everytime I use cmd+R, it prompts a message asking me how I want to clone/copy the region. How did you get rid of that?
Hmm perhaps you need to change the default behavior in the key command editor. I don’t remember doing that myself, but perhaps I did long ago.

There’s arrangement regions? ☠️ how did I not know
Because Logic is deep, there is so much to learn to improve your workflow! ;)
Sincerely,
Mike
nothing to learn. Chord track? what you are talking about? there is no chord track in logic pro yet. pff
Yes there's no chord track in Logic X but what he showed in his video is his own personal way of working. Why do you have to be so angry and negative?
