I honestly think this is karma....karma had to get her far enough away from the people who originally called her out, so that she couldn't blame them, before it let her fall from her own mistakes.
So here's what I think happened. Dave's Gourmet actually tried to make a good deal out of this, making money with her on her branding. The deal they signed was likely a royalty deal - she gets a % for every bottle sold. They realized that her "recipe" was never going to make it past any checks. She was OBVIOUSLY dumping a massive amount of pink food coloring into that recipe to get that neon pink color, and you just cannot do that and get FDA approval. There are limits to what you can put in a food product. Even candy can't have too much coloring, or coloring of different types, or alongside certain other ingredients, for example. She didn't even know what the F in FDA stood for so no wonder she wouldn't understand something like limitations on ingredients. Dave's changed the recipe to make a legal and safe product, and one that would be more appealing to a larger audience. That's why it's "beige" and not neon pink. That's why it tastes "vinegary" instead of loaded up with sugar or whatever else, because we still don't know what her original pink sauce was supposed to taste like (which is a big red flag on its own). This is what she cannot comprehend, because she is intellectually incapable of working out that you can't just make a "sauce" with food coloring, dairy and sugar and sell it without a label and without FDA approval. Dave's dropped receipts showing that they delivered $120K to her in one year. They have been paying her, she just doesn't understand the deal she signed, the business she entered into, or how damn lucky she was and the opportunities it delivered. Now she's defaming them online and they're probably not only going to abandon the deal they made with her, but they'll probably sue her too, at least to get a gag order and stop her from repeatedly defaming them. Dave's Gourmet is the victim here. They genuinely tried to help her go legit, but she's too stupid and too mentally unwell to understand that she's her own worst enemy.
Good take. Also, what if consuming all that food coloring during her early days of promoting the sauce had an actual effect on her mental health? Food dyes have been observed to cause agitated behaviors in children when consumed in high enough quantities (amongst other connections to cancer, thyroid issues, asthma, and more), specifically Red 3 which is a very similar shade to the original pink sauce. This could very well be an act of public service in identifying the effects of food coloring overdose in adults.

I think Walmart got screwed the most out of this deal, if you think about it Dave Gourmet sold x amount of product to Walmart and was able to pay her a percentage of her company (probably a huge percentage due to lack of sales and quality, $120k seems like alot) and had the royalty deal in place. She’s pissed cause she probably thought the more “marketing” she does then the more sales will come in. I bet you anything she blew through that money, she’s over here going insane on TikTok for anyone to buy her sauce and we are all here sitting and staring at her circus she has created.
There's a video on the How To Cook That channel that proves you can make vibrant pink sauce by using dragonfruit as a natural food coloring. However, the pink color fades overtime, and so does the initial flavor. That's why the product looks and tastes different after being on shelves for too long. Even when Pii was making them herself, the color had changed by the time the sauce was delivered to the customer. She conveniently left that part out in her rant. The reason why Pink Sauce isn't selling as much as Pii expected is because its novelty has worn off. Aside from its weird color, it doesn't have much else to offer to the culinary industry.
So basically, she signed a deal to sell her sauce in stores, and she assumed she would make so much money from this deal that she just stopped working entirely. But since nobody wanted the botulism sauce, it bit her in the ass.

“Deteriating” lol I lost it. She can’t do math, she can’t speak, she can’t read contracts, she almost killed people, and she can’t take accountability for anything. This is what it looks like when a child is raised by parents who treat them like a perfect human being who could never do wrong, like they're a genius, like they're the most beautiful person ever. Dave's gourmet showed their receipts. They payed her in 10,000 increments. They paid her 10,000 the day AFTER she put up her gofund me. She knew she was getting paid because they pay her every month on the same day with the same amount. Nobody is going to work with her after her biting the hand who fed her.

According to Dave's Gourmet ( and they showed the receipts to prove it) they paid her 10K for 12 months ( or something like that). Found one of the yahoo articles which links to a site called Blavity: "Dave’s Gourmet has paid Chef Pii over $120,000 to date and it continues to make all payments as due and on time based upon the terms of the contract." Also found it funny in thar same youtube video he came across a video where she claimed her mother passed away before she was born. Then who is giving her $20 lol.

I don't feel sorry for them. I'm pretty sure they didn't step in to help her but because they saw an opportunity. Unlike her they are a company that actually functions as a company. I find it funny how she's talking about the people who bought her product "helped build her business " but not too long ago said straight to one of her consumers who was part of the people who helped build her business that she wasn't special and that chef P did not need to get in touch with said consumer when the consumer had questioned her product. Here's what I think is going on. Pink Sauce Lady signed a deal with Dave's Gourmet to put her sauce in WalMart. She thinks she's made it in life and believes she's rich, so she starts spending money like crazy. Dave's Gourmet assumes she's read the contract and starts compensating her accordingly. The sauce isn't selling as well as she likes and/or she doesn't like the cut of the profits she thinks should be getting. So she takes to social media to make it sound like Dave's Gourmet is "robbing" and "cheating" her. All while she's spending herself into debt, thus prompting bankruptcy and a need for a GoFundMe. Why do I think this is a case? Because the Pink Sauce Lady isn't the first person who's acted in this particular manner and won't be the last. Greed and stupidity are a violently toxic combo with damaging consequences for so many people. And naturally, in every single case, the "victim" is ALWAYS the person who keeps choosing poorly.

They might let her out of the contract if she ends up being enough of a headache but she better be careful before she screws up. I'm sure Dave's got a real chef to develop a safe, FDA approved and marketable product hoping her branding would develop it into a good line of products. She's just too stupid to be able to understand how basic business works, the costs of production, the royalties and branding agreement. She could have turned this into such an amazing business. Like any other "celeb" putting their name on a product someone else made she could have continued to develop a whole range with Dave's, using her social media to promote it. Over just a couple of years that could have been making her millions. Even after failing so badly so many times she was given an incredible opportunity, and she still f'ed it all up! I think they're just pandering to her now so they can show a court that they really tried, while showing the public that they're good people. When it does go to court, and I'm sure it will (because she just cannot admit she's wrong and she's going to continue to make this all worse) the court is going to find in Dave's favor within an hour and issue a gag order on her.

I imagine what happened in the contract was that the company paid her a large upfront sum, potentially split up in a few months because she said that her checks dramatically decreased in size , that ballooned her initial checks. Once that large sum was paid out, she was only receiving royalties which likely decreased in size quickly due to her sauce being on the gimmicky side.
My understanding is that Dave's paid her consistently for a year to the tune of $120,000. That must have been her initial lump sum spread out and like you said now it's royalties, but there's none to be had because no one is buying the sauce because it's crap. I don't subscribe to the belief she's mentally ill just a little dumb and really bad at understanding business at any level so she goes on the defensive. I manufacture furniture polish and the volume has to be enormous to make a profit and any upfront payment needs to last the lifetime of the promotion. I have a truly amazing formula for a furniture polish but have never been able to sell it because it only has a three week shelf life so I make a less amazing one instead.
With her saying that they've sent her a negative balance (which sounds like to me they're saying she owes them money), one of my thoughts is that the contract wasn't for them to just completely take over everything for the sauce and pay her royalties, but that they'd do production, distribution, and marketing in exchange for a cut of profits, but with a stipulation that if the profits don't cover costs that she owes the remaining balance. This would me a lot of sense because the attention and hype of the sauce (however negative it is) has greatly died down and now it's pretty much just another over-priced novelty sauce at walmart and people aren't buying it much at this point.
I have a feeling that if this does actually go to court, Dave's will probably have a field day with her over all the stuff she's been saying about them and such.

Thank you for pointing out two very important, crucial things - 1) ZERO accountability on her part, not even to take care of her kids. Based on the current situation, Walmart got their units and they're not selling through thus the reason for the discounted Pink Sauce images people have been sharing. So here’s my take on it She was given a large sum of money from Dave’s gourmet to mass produce the sauce (another person pointed out that’s probably where the 200k bottles came from as in the contract was for 200k bottles which isn’t sales) and she expected more money to roll in Well more than likely she burned through all that money and since the contract was more than likely contingent on selling a certain amount before she saw a return, she probably didn’t get that much money if at all and a contract like that would make sense for a sauce that’s kind of a wild card in terms of how well it would do since it’s not an every day kind of sauce She probably didn’t read the contract or understand it and thought she would just get truckloads of money and when that didn’t happen she claimed Dave’s gourmet was screwing her over My opinion? So here's what I think happened.
Dave's Gourmet actually tried to make a good deal out of this, making money with her on her branding. The deal they signed was likely a royalty deal - she gets a % for every bottle sold.
They realized that her "recipe" was never going to make it past any checks. She was OBVIOUSLY dumping a massive amount of pink food coloring into that recipe to get that neon pink color, and you just cannot do that and get FDA approval. There are limits to what you can put in a food product. Even candy can't have too much coloring, or coloring of different types, or alongside certain other ingredients, for example. She didn't even know what the F in FDA stood for so no wonder she wouldn't understand something like limitations on ingredients.
Dave's changed the recipe to make a legal and safe product, and one that would be more appealing to a larger audience. That's why it's "beige" and not neon pink. That's why it tastes "vinegary" instead of loaded up with sugar or whatever else, because we still don't know what her original pink sauce was supposed to taste like (which is a big red flag on its own). This is what she cannot comprehend, because she is intellectually incapable of working out that you can't just make a "sauce" with food coloring, dairy and sugar and sell it without a label and without FDA approval.
Dave's dropped receipts showing that they delivered $120K to her in one year. They have been paying her, she just doesn't understand the deal she signed, the business she entered into, or how damn lucky she was and the opportunities it delivered. Now she's defaming them online and they're probably not only going to abandon the deal they made with her, but they'll probably sue her too, at least to get a gag order and stop her from repeatedly defaming them.
Dave's Gourmet is the victim here. They genuinely tried to help her go legit, but she's too stupid and too mentally unwell to understand that she's her own worst enemy.
Good take. Also, what if consuming all that food coloring during her early days of promoting the sauce had an actual effect on her mental health? Food dyes have been observed to cause agitated behaviors in children when consumed in high enough quantities (amongst other connections to cancer, thyroid issues, asthma, and more), specifically Red 3 which is a very similar shade to the original pink sauce. This could very well be an act of public service in identifying the effects of food coloring overdose in adults.

I think Walmart got screwed the most out of this deal, if you think about it Dave Gourmet sold x amount of product to Walmart and was able to pay her a percentage of her company (probably a huge percentage due to lack of sales and quality, $120k seems like alot) and had the royalty deal in place. There's a video on the How To Cook That channel that proves you can make vibrant pink sauce by using dragonfruit as a natural food coloring. However, the pink color fades overtime, and so does the initial flavor. That's why the product looks and tastes different after being on shelves for too long. Even when Pii was making them herself, the color had changed by the time the sauce was delivered to the customer. She conveniently left that part out in her rant. The reason why Pink Sauce isn't selling as much as Pii expected is because its novelty has worn off. Aside from its weird color, it doesn't have much else to offer to the culinary industry.
So basically, she signed a deal to sell her sauce in stores, and she assumed she would make so much money from this deal that she just stopped working entirely. But since nobody wanted the botulism sauce, it bit her in the ass.

Here's what I think is going on. Pink Sauce Lady signed a deal with Dave's Gourmet to put her sauce in WalMart. She thinks she's made it in life and believes she's rich, so she starts spending money like crazy. Dave's Gourmet assumes she's read the contract and starts compensating her accordingly. The sauce isn't selling as well as she likes and/or she doesn't like the cut of the profits she thinks should be getting. So she takes to social media to make it sound like Dave's Gourmet is "robbing" and "cheating" her. All while she's spending herself into debt, thus prompting bankruptcy and a need for a GoFundMe.
Why do I think this is a case? Because the Pink Sauce Lady isn't the first person who's acted in this particular manner and won't be the last. Greed and stupidity are a violently toxic combo with damaging consequences for so many people. And naturally, in every single case, the "victim" is ALWAYS the person who keeps choosing poorly.

Dave's is a professional operation. They're not going to engage in a social media battle with some nutbag. They're just going to follow the contract and let a judge sort it out if it comes to that.

I'm sure Dave's got a real chef to develop a safe, FDA approved and marketable product hoping her branding would develop it into a good line of products. I imagine what happened in the contract was that the company paid her a large upfront sum, potentially split up in a few months because she said that her checks dramatically decreased in size , that ballooned her initial checks. Once that large sum was paid out, she was only receiving royalties which likely decreased in size quickly due to her sauce being on the gimmicky side.
My understanding is that Dave's paid her consistently for a year to the tune of $120,000. That must have been her initial lump sum spread out and like you said now it's royalties, but there's none to be had because no one is buying the sauce because it's crap. For her to think she's singlehandedly keeping Dave's going is hilarious. I believe those initial 200k bottles were to stock shelves and now their left with stock that's not moving

I don't subscribe to the belief she's mentally ill just a little dumb and really bad at understanding business at any level so she goes on the defensive. I manufacture furniture polish and the volume has to be enormous to make a profit and any upfront payment needs to last the lifetime of the promotion. I have a truly amazing formula for a furniture polish but have never been able to sell it because it only has a three week shelf life so I make a less amazing one instead.

This would me a lot of sense because the attention and hype of the sauce (however negative it is) has greatly died down and now it's pretty much just another over-priced novelty sauce at walmart and people aren't buying it much at this point.

Based on the current situation, Walmart got their units and they're not selling through thus the reason for the discounted Pink Sauce images people have been sharing. Called it. When she got this deal with Dave’s, I commented (on an Atozy video, I think) that she is simply not very bright and so I was sure that she was getting screwed in her contract. And I predicted that she would eventually be pissed b/c she didn’t understand and that she would irresponsibly spend any money she DID make. I’m sure I’m not the only one who saw this coming.
She got lucky she even got that deal. After all the drama she created with her unprofessional behavior the hype around her sauce was gone. If she had tried to produce the sauce herself, she wouldn’t have made anything close to what they paid her out. She thinks because the sauce went viral it’s going to have the same amount of attention even all these years later. She thought this sauce was going to pay her for the rest of her life when everyone knows social media forgets about things almost as fast as they learn about it. Your 100% correct she spent all her money. I mean the sauce that went viral is nothing like the stuff they’re selling. She got popular off a lie and is now complaining that people aren’t buying the stuff they had to come up with when people wanted to buy the ranch and food coloring she made the video with lol. I just feel sorry for her kids. She’s talking about not being able to feed them while bragging about getting plastic surgery and wearing designer clothes.

She claims intelligence, yet what sort of individual enters a business contract without legal representation? The responsibility lies with her - she fails to assume accountability for signing documents beyond her comprehension. I wouldn't be surprised if buried within that contract is an agreement relinquishing all sauce rights to the company.

I don't think a lawsuit would do anything towards humbling her. She's a toxic narcissist who genuinely believes that EVERYONE ELSE is the problem. She made that evident when she held that poor girls hand on TV and told her "you're not special". From her lack of knowledge about the FDA to her not understanding the contract she signed and believing she is single-handedly keeping Dave's Gourmet open, her way over inflated sense of self never ceases to amaze me. So here’s my take on it
She was given a large sum of money from Dave’s gourmet to mass produce the sauce (another person pointed out that’s probably where the 200k bottles came from as in the contract was for 200k bottles which isn’t sales) and she expected more money to roll in
Well more than likely she burned through all that money and since the contract was more than likely contingent on selling a certain amount before she saw a return, she probably didn’t get that much money if at all and a contract like that would make sense for a sauce that’s kind of a wild card in terms of how well it would do since it’s not an every day kind of sauce
She probably didn’t read the contract or understand it and thought she would just get truckloads of money and when that didn’t happen she claimed Dave’s gourmet was screwing her over
