It's fucking WILD to be in the MIDDLE of losing a defamation lawsuit and threaten to sue people over defamation because they're covering it. What a menace.
The interesting thing is that it's really hard to actually win a defamation suit since you have to prove a bunch of things, like actual malice, etc. Her doubling down is really what torpedoed her chances and proves some of the things normally very hard to prove. This is why they send the Cease and Desist letter. That's usually enough, and if they don't stop, it helps prove actual malice.

The funniest part to me is that she thought being sued meant a trial against Rebecca? “I’m gleaning to show my evidence” maam. That’s not what is going on. Ur being sued. YOURE the defendant 😃
There's still evidence in a civil case, that's what discovery means. What she actually means is that she intended to try to use the discovery process to force Scofield to turn over a bunch of personal and possibly sensitive information for Gillard to dig through for something she can use to "prove" her involvement - where here "proof" means what it does whenever Trump says he has proof of the election being stolen.
That’s what got me at the start too! Like “I saw her on the website and, after I did her reading, I did one for the students”. Like, if she was for real, wouldn’t you start with the students? It’s stupid just on its own, even without all the other BS.

Her logic made her think she shouldn't have been able to get sued since she isnt in Idaho yet she can freely sue every one who "defamed" her on the internet. Talk about double standards.
Technically her argument was just venue which means she thought that the case should have been brought where she is rather than in Idaho. It's still wrong and something a legitimate lawyer would have been able to tell her but it is an important distinction.
THIS is a lady that actually deserves to be sued for defamation. This is the type of situation where you’d actually sue someone for defamation. Not if you’re butthurt that someone exposed you, but if they do something like this. So many people think you can just sue someone for defamation over negative things that they say about you, but it’s truly reserved for extreme situations like this.
Yes, exactly! It's one thing to be called out or exposed. It's another thing to be accused of wrongful acts you obviously had nothing to do with. This woman is just delusional and crazy.
Defamation doesn’t have to be “extreme.” It’e one of the oldest lawsuits in history of American civilization. Most people migrated to America with nothing worth more than their good name. All they had was their good name and thus livelihood. When it’s defamed with no base the lawsuits were filed to save their livelihood.
Defamation is not about being extreme. It's about LYING. Period. Doesn't matter of the lie is extreme or not. If it hurts someone's reputation then it's defamation.
The families of the victims should sue her too because this was so disgusting and especially the girl she accused of having a relationship with her professor that really probably piled unnecessary stress on those parents
That's another thing that makes me so disgusted with this woman. Those 4 kids had their whole lives ahead of them. For them to be so senselessly murdered is heartbreaking enough, but then to have Ms. Main Character Syndrome come in with her tarot cards and spew so much bs that the investigators actually investigating the crime had to publicly state that Rebecca Schofield had NOTHING to do with this (and yet she STILL ran her mouth and further hijacked this tragedy) is disgusting.
I literally would, if i were one of their parents. Because, like u said, i wanna add to her stress since she’s sooooo hell bent on giving everyone else stress.
I had an "intuitive tarot card" reading done once. They rambled on about me being young, entering the work force for the first time, and starting my adult life in the real world. etc etc etc. ...I was a 32 year old divorced Air Force Veteran with two college degrees and a career. I just look younger. It's insane anyone would take psychics serious.
Defamation is not criminal and we abolished debtor’s prisons over a hundred years ago. Unless she commits a criminal offense and a prosecutor picks up the case, nothing is going to happen to her
@@WoodlandT At least the online roasting she's well deservedly getting means she's not going to have many paying customers or get a chance to pull a stunt like this again!
@@WoodlandTthere are rare instances of a person's speech landing them in jail. For example: yelling "fire" in a crowded theater when there is no fire CAN get you arrested. Same goes for making threats against a public figure (such as the president). Even if you don't mean it, you can still get into legal hot water for it. Not sure if there is a case for her being criminally liable for what she said, but given the hell she put her victim through in all this, I would certainly hope so.
The worst part about this is that Ashley could have easily backed down and said something like “I made a miscalculation - it seems I was wrong and the real suspect has been apprehended. I apologise to Miss Schofield” and people would have just clowned on her and moved on. Instead, she doubled and tripled down on her BS claims for even more clout - turning Rebecca Schofield’s life upside down and for a year by doing so. Absolutely repulsive and reprehensible. Ashley needs to be banned from using the Internet as she’s clearly insane and won’t learn from her actions.
What’s possibly even worse is that the Professor has had to spend an absolute fortune to get this judgement and the likelihood of her recouping any of her costs or the damages from this nutjob
Sadly, the professor is just one innocent bystander who was viciously targeted and harassed by chronically online morons. Every single male that the "true crime" mob became aware of as existing in Moscow became their primary suspect. The food truck guy. The yoga neighbor. The law student neighbor. Every frat boy. The father of one of the victims. A second food truck guy. The vape store owner. The bar owner. The cab driver. The chief of police. The home owner. A white car owner. A third food truck guy. A journalist. Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME the moron mob became aware of a male existing in Moscow he was automatically guilty of the crime and these people were relentless in their harassment and abuse. They were even calling the bar and screaming insanity at whoever answered it. That's unfortunately what he "true crime" mob is like, so many total and utter lunatics.
@@HulaHula667 It could take a long time but I think in most instances the the damages are automatically taken from the earnings of someone, and if they attempt to claim they can't pay it they can have their car and home etc seized. I really like that show, but one of the episodes the protagonist is most unlikable is an early one where she is so angry and offended when her boss asks her to lie on the stand about how she got her tip since psychic visions aren't actually evidence so he had lied on the warrant request. She seemed so ridiculously delusional. Now it seems much more realistic.
@@trinitybernhardt9944 I know! I HATED that episode! I really couldn't stand Alison after that. I like the show, especially the middle girl, she's so funny! But I could honestly do without Alison Dubois. Even as a teen watching the show, I couldn't stand her. And her visions. If you have visions and can talk to the dead, why are they always so wrong or she acts like they are so vague. It annoys me with "psychics" that they will say that they don't get clear visions and yet turn around and say that their deceased loved one says that they love you! Acting like they are talking directly to the dead. If you can talk directly to the dead, then why are their messages blurry or whatever? But yet you know EXACTLY what they say word for word? I'm horrible at explaining things so I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. That's also why I didn't like her character. I liked every character on the show BUT Alison Dubois. She even gets on my nerves how she would treat her husband. Oh, this is a PERFECT example! Alison is getting angry at Joe because in her dreams, she THINKS they are having an affair. Turns out, he wasn't. Don't remember what happened but I am pretty sure it was something innocent about work. It just looked bad in her visions. Either way, she accused Joe of sleeping around and getting upset about it when he never cheated on her. Instead of talking to him about it in the first place, she just is angry at him thinking he's cheating. She acts so childish because she doesn't communicate with her husband and instead, just wants to get angry over visions that even she KNOWS isn't the whole picture. Reason the judge was so lenient throughout the case is because when someone represents themselves its very easy to appeal if it is thrown out for procedural reasons. The judge had every incentive to see the case completely through and not reprimand the psychic to make it look as fair as possible on record for when she does try and appeal the decision.
even psychos have rights in court so it has to be by-the-books even if it’s annoying and the leeway is pointless and based on how much of the judgement was cut/dried it’s likely an intern clerk wrote it with the judge just signing off after giving it a quick look

What I find so funny about this is, because of the first Amendment, defamation is actually a really hard case to win... And somehow this TikTok psychic managed to find an actual scenario where the burden of proof is on them because they are simultaneously the source, the speaker, and the publisher of the claim. It's genuinely insane how she created this situation.
She's also outright accusing a person of committing a verifiable crime in which the suspect has been arrested. I'm not sure if he's actually been convicted yet, but if he has then that would add on to how much money she would owe. This is like a textbook defamation win.
The victims are Caucasian. She is not. She has a pompous, arrogant disposition. Had she been somewhat humble and appeared to be a likable person, she may have had a chance. But people see this black woman with uppity attitude and showing no remorse? Nah America doesn’t play that sh*t
This TikTok Psycho (I refuse to say 'Psychic', because she's not one), actually said that she would find proof during the discovery phase. She literally made a baseless claim, then said she would find proof during the process where she's supposed to present proof/evidence of her claims. *The Discovery Process is not when, or where, you go looking for evidence.* Essentially, she was trying to go fishing for proof of her baseless claims. And Judges don't like that.
She's a scammer, a con-man, a fraud. There is no such thing as a psychic. There has never been any evidence of any person seeing into the future, or reading people's minds.
It still blows me away she was apparently unaware that people in 1 state can sue people in another and yes, you may have to travel to their state for court.

Daaang, great point haha!
The fact that she selected this professor randomly from the university website leaves me dumbfounded, it’s so bizarre.
It wasn’t random, she was guided by the cards lol

This woman is just delusional and crazy.
its a shame that people who try to use the law to threaten others are the ones who don't know dick about the law.
Well she’s no lady to start with
Defamation is not about being extreme.
The parents made life, and the case, hard just as well as this idiot...

Yet, talk to a ghost and she would. I wonder how that works.

If I was her sorority, I would ban her from wearing letters because it just makes the sorority look real bad
The fact that she says 'I did a reading' as sole proof of her accusations is insane!
Whats scary is people had to investigate and take it seriously and destroy lives.
narcissist that thinks the voice in her head is some higher power telling her things.
@@Coockiez-007 "I once made the mistake of confusing my hubris for God's touch..." Unfortunately, she is not as bright as Boyd Crowder, and 10 times more arrogant
She pretty much just said "source: I guessed lol"
i recently got a tarot reading from someone for the first time. it was a very nice moment of introspection and a fun discussion about beliefs and self improvement
not ONCE did we go to PREDICTING THE FUTURE AND SEEING THE PAST 😭😂
They can be fun. Improv cold reading is a neat trick.
That how it's done right but this lady idk what reading she doing is not it
Tarot is demonic, look it up and you will see its evil. Psychics can't tell the future, they get their information from demons and demons only know about your past. God is the only one who is all knowing.
Yeah, because predicting the future is not what tarot card readings are for. They're for what you've been doing. Sounds like a nice experience.
I've been interested in it when I was younger but dropped it eventually - and that it was for introspection was the first thing I've learned about it.
Repent and break the covenant before it starts wreaking havoc in your life
Never represent yourself in court.....never!! 🤣🤣
"Who clout chases on a tragedy?"
From the top of my head: Alex Jones, most preachers, politicians, and media.
Alec Jones is a troll like Tate was 😂

Alex changed his name to Alec to avoid paying restitution. 😂👍👍

Rudy Guiliani too!
In order for her to win a defamation lawsuit against Atozy she would need to prove that the allegations aren’t true. Good luck with that one!
I don't think she understands what's going on to this day
Tarot card readings do not count as proof of guilt short bus.
Not just untrue but knowingly false.
Oh I'm thinking Atozy is gonna be juuuuuuuust fine lol
Uhm, hello, Tarot Cards! Who needs lawyers and court, she's clearly going to take Atozy for all he has😂😂
1:50 I like how she claims to have been sued, and won by others... I want to see a list of these "cases" that she says she won, names and case numbers so that they could be checked up on,
I saw this coming a mile away……Am I Psychic?
You're a hell of a lot more psychic than she is THAT'S for sure lmao
The cards say yes
YES!!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Yes and you should totally do readings on these mystery murder cases /s
I saw this coming also😂😂😂..I am amazed at the level of stupidity now adays😂😂😂
Guys, I think we all are Psychics...We all knew this was going to happen! Im gonna start a business and help more people WITH MY POWERS!
SPREAD THE WORD!
I should have known..😂
Honestly, in 2024 it often feels as though being sane and of reasonable intelligence is akin to having a supernatural power.
Yeah same I did reading on you and my Pokémon cards say your business will do amazing 😌
She calls someone else an idiot and she's totally screwd in and out of court
This and the Pink Sauce lady are my favorite sagas on this channel.
Don't forget about BitBoy and The Ace Family 😂
They’re competing for being the most annoying person on the planet.
@@plaguebunnyproductionsBitboy was my fave for sure 😂😂😂
Certainly 😂

6:30 she is questioning jurisdiction as pro se, this is definitely sovereign citizen BS for sure! 😂🤣
I really hope the victims’ families don’t read all of that; if it had been my family member I’d sue that “psychic” for slandering my family member who can’t defend themselves
I think she should go to jail honestly. I couldn't imagine how stressful it would be having someone slandering you this hard.
I would lose my mind.
And you know she has to have at least a couple dozen really stupid followers who went and harassed the victim.
Yea. She needs to go to jail.
Everybody doesn't need jail time. Especially for something like this. Yeah she lied and so does the Pope.. Do you want him in prison too? Prison doesn't stop people from lying..
I blame the crime drama hype now everyone thinks they’re a psychic detective smh people have abused the hell out of “body language” it’s so annoying.
Haha I have been waiting for this. They gave her so many chances to shut up, back down, and apologize. You don't often see someone earn their consequences so hard
Her complaining about how the improper venue was such an inconvenience blew my mind! Never mind about the plaintiff who she publicly accused of something heinous having to sue to clear her name. The fact that she only thinks about herself means she won't learn her lesson - I'm sure she'll do it again.
Prayer circle for her getting something like the EDP445 treatment and she's just banned from every type of social media available. Harder for her to spew her bs, that way.
She might have tarot cards, but she's not playing with a full deck.
Bam mic drop!! Perfect answer!❤
Finally, justice is served. I hope that the professor and the victims’ families find peace 🙏🏾🙏🏾.
I don't think it's JUST for attention... I think she genuinely believes that her tarot readings are 100% true and that those readings themselves are the "physical evidence" she thinks she has. That's why she wanted Schofield's private messages; she believes that there'll be things found there because that's what the cards have told her. Zero sympathy for her regardless.
Exactly, she fully believes she has the power to predict things with her readings. Shes not just trying to ruin that woman for attention, she has convinced herself that she's right because her powers are 100% real. Criminally delusional won't be fixed with just a fine and jail time unfortunately, she needs mental help.
@@glaive120 For sure she does, though I can't imagine her ever admitting it. I'm also really curious about what can/will be done once the legal process is over and she continues to defame, because that is undoubtedly inevitable.
I think she shows signs of a cluster A personality disorder.
Oh no, not the racism card! I'm sure the plaintiff is shaking!
I know a family who's young daughter left this world by her own hands. "Psychics" and conspiracy theorists have never given them peace. Still try to make content off of her death, allowing a neverending stream of media iliterates to follow their footsteps in harrasment. Not even a decade later has it stopped.
These kind of people really suck.
Oh that’s just so horrific for the family, as if losing your child isn’t bad enough, in any circumstances, let alone like that. Same for the parents and loved one’s of these student’s, and to defame the Professor like that. I honestly think you have to be really mentally sick to keep doing that.
Is her name Eliza by any chance
People are still making videos that Kenneka Jenkins was murdered and some massive conspiracy happened to cover it up. Unfortunately when something is well known about this will happen when they are motivated by financial gain
@@thelittleredhairedgirlfrom6527 no, it's not.
It's so vile that there are multiple versions of the same story.
I'm basically lost for words. I cannot understand the hibris of this woman. Absolutely unhinged.
This is what Dunning Krugerism looks like in real life 😂 she thinks she knows better about everything than everybody, even about how the law works.
If someone is already not playing with a full deck and is inundated with internet drama it's easy to not understand the weight of throwing around accusations based on imagined insight.
It's like all the get rich quick schemes devolving into people threating actual fraud like a legitimate infinite-money hack.
She didn't see this coming 😂😂😂😂
not only is she trying to ruin this random woman's life but she's telling lies about the victims who can't even speak up for themselves
This is a 70s joke from my father: a man goes to his psycic appointment, upon arrival, he pushes the door bell/intercom button. The psycic answers and asks: "who's there?"
🤣🤣🤣
if it’s anything but “i knew you’d come” you have a fraud 🤣😎
2:24 she really just said she was going to present her ideas in court as if her ideas are facts that's hilarious
LOVE that you clearly care about Madcatster & how he’s doing. He’s a gem of a human being & must be protected at all costs!
I agree!
Did she actually think going on the offensive would stop the professor from suing her 😂she started using the cards instead of her brain to think for her 😂
Wait so if she wants to sue you for defamation, why can't she be sued for what she's doing lol
To be fair, if you’re hearing the terms “TikTok psychic” together, you know the person is going to have issues.
