      100% agree. I think it’s because lying has become so normalized. Gaslighting is literally a primary debate strategy for so many. Look at our leaders (BOTH SIDES) all they do is LIE, GASLIGHT and basically accuse people of doing horrible things, assigning HORRIBLE TITLES to people that turn out to never be true…and they are never held accountable for it. When society normalizes abhorrent character flaws this is what happens. Honestly, we need to go back to JUDGING people for their poor life choices, especially when they hurt others. People thought “judging was mean” and not inclusive. Sorry folks. Some things SHOULD BE JUDGED and should carry a stigma. Being a LIAR should never be condoned and normalized.

      Another harm is that in many parts of the world she would probably get murdered for being a witch. That kind of thing still happens far, far more often than people realize. The body counts in some parts of Africa over the past few decades dwarf the number of people murdered for being "witches" in the four centuries of European witch hunts.

    This woman makes me so frustrated. My aunt was missing for over 15 years. She went missing before I was born, before social media but some lunatic "psychic" saw my aunts photo on one of those "have you seen me" postcards they used to send in the mail and she believed she had a vision. She claimed she saw my aunts death and that my grandmother killed her. This was absurd. My grandmother was frantic searching for my aunt and my cousin, who went missing with her and was later found across the country, she was just two years old. My grandparents adopted her. Anyway this woman began writing letters. Hundreds of letters to my grandmother, to my grandmother's work and church. She tormented her and was eventually arrested.
    My aunt would eventually be found, alive, over 15 years later. This woman on TikTok reminds me of the situation my grandmother went through, and I cannot fathom how much worse it would have been if social media existed. This Ashley girl is hurting the professor and her family, hurting the victims families too(because she is claiming that the man they arrested, is innocent, in her TikTok today). For what? Views online, attention, no matter how negative?
    I do believe Ashley has some sort of mental health issue happening, she made a TikTok where she claimed her spirit guides told her someone was waiting outside of her apartment to harm her, she seems to believe that the professor texted her ex, there is just layers of delusion, paranoia, religious delusions however mental illness is not a excuse to terrorize people this way, she needs to stop

    I live really close to where the stabbing happened. It's not a very big area and I've met so many people who knew the victims personally or had a loved one who did. Seeing how the murder impacted so many people and caused University of Idaho to practically shut down for the rest of the semester, I don't think people realize how big of a deal the deaths were for those of us in Northern Idaho. Seeing someone trying to gain fame on TikTok through these sort of things is already gross, but this one was very personally disappointing and gross to see.
    Edit: Also as someone who is part of the queer community and lives in Northern Idaho, I do not think this woman realizes that accusations of just being gay could lead to serious violent repercussions from some of the crazier groups we have up here. To add onto this such an inappropriate relationship/power dynamic between an advisor and student as part of her story---this sort of thing can genuinely ruin a career, /especially/ in an area as conservative as this. I'm glad she is getting sued over this. I am disgusted that someone would do this and not at all understand the harm to both the victims families and this professor.

  • @myfairytalelife3
    @myfairytalelife3 Рік тому +77

    So the only reason why many people believe that Kaylee was the target is because her injuries were worse than the other three victims. What everyone fails to think about is that even though it has been stated that some of the victims had defensive wounds, Kaylee is the only one who's been definitively confirmed to have fought back during the attack. That means that of course her injuries would be worse. Defensive wounds just means that the victims tried to protect themselves as they were being attacked so the injuries would not necessarily be as gruesome as the injuries would be if a victim fought back. So just because Kaylee fought back and her injuries were worse than the other victims it doesn't mean she was the intended target.
    [EDIT]
    Also, police cleared Jack really early on into the investigation so regardless of whatever anyone wants to think, he's innocent and he did not have any involvement in the murders. If he did he would have been arrested shortly after the murders.
    [EDIT 2]
    By the way, phone records don't show Jack's phone near the crime scene so Jack would not have known someone was calling him until the next time he saw his phone. That means that her claims of him freaking out about getting several phone calls around the time the victims were murdered don't match evidence police have.

    The funny thing is people don't actually want the real thing. I used to run my own occult shop, and I've been doing professional tarot readings for decades. I always make it clear to my querents that what I do isn't supernatural, and that what I do is assist them in projecting their own unconscious thoughts onto the archetypal narrative of the cards. It's useless for telling the future, but scary-good for digging into your own mind and figuring out how you really feel on the deepest levels about yourself and your existence.
    As a result of this, I am a _terrible_ tarot card reader. People generally go to a fortune teller or psychic to be told pretty lies by someone they know is a fake. They want to be told they're going to win the lottery, find love, and go on a trip to an exotic place. What they _don't_ want is a painful exploration of their darkest, innermost existential dreads. Which is unfortunate, because it means the fakes make a fortune while those of us who work hard and spend a lifetime achieving shamanic mastery are mostly ignored.

    • @NoJusticeNoPeace
      @NoJusticeNoPeace Рік тому +9

      @@falaramal3979 I think of The Fool as my card, and always feel warm recognition when he turns up. The Fool is card 0 of the major arcana. Taken together, the 22 cards of the major arcana tell the story of enlightenment, with the final card of The World showing a circle which represents the cycle beginning all over again. The Fool is a figure about to step off a cliff, and we don't know whether he's going to fall into the sea and die or fly off into the sky. He represents the blind step of faith which begins any new venture, that tentative groping in the dark for the first stair of the staircase, not knowing if you're about to go down the stairs headfirst. I have always been The Fool, fearless to step off the cliff for good or ill, and he always draws a smile of recognition from me.
      Death is another card which carries mixed blessings, representing drastic and radical change which occurs with the end of the old. Unlike, say, The Tower which represents the catastrophic destruction of the old, Death is about the impermanence of all things, and the need for acceptance that in order for a fresh start, you must allow the old things to perish -- as they will do regardless.
      Both The Fool and Death are narratives which can be a heavy weight for those who dread change, but can be exciting and a sign of fresh adventure for those with a hunger for new things.

      After the 2010 Copiapó mining accident Sylvia Browne was being interviewed on _Coast to Coast,_ a talk radio show about the paranormal and conspiracies and things like that. During a news bulletin a story was read saying all the miners had died. Browne confidently pretended she had know that all along because of her supposed abilities. The problem? The story was wrong and 33 miners were still alive. Browne then pretended she had actually known _that_ all along and that her predictions had been vindicated. It was hilarious to watch a psychic immolate in real time.

The crazy part was that the girl was ALIVE and WATCHING THE SHOW FROM CAPTIVITY. In an interview after she was rescued, that girl said she hoped Sylvia Browne would tell her mom she was still alive. It’s fucking crazy that these people are allowed anywhere near police matters. People who are experiencing grief don’t need this. False hope doesn’t help.
