I have this incredible ability to never get to the point 😂 thanks man, I’ll do another long form vid soon, I’m currently recovering from a brain injury so the next one should be interesting 😂👌🎸🤞🤟
Hey, I’ve not had the chance yet, my set up is simple, a looper + gr55, admittedly I don’t use the looper to its full capability, it distracts me too much from the performance. My good friend JP has experience with the headrush and lots of tutorials on it too
Hey man, how are you? I know what you mean, on the skinny little twin pedals I’ve set one of them for singing, it’s just an eq setting I was playing with, the regular mic in sound I use for vocal loops.
Hey, yes it’s simply for the midi clock, any delay fx on the gr55 automatically sync up with the beat/tempo I create on the looper, I noticed a huge difference when I started doing this, used to do the same with the rc300, definitely recommend if you have these units ⚡️👍
4:42 small advice to save time building up the loop press the recording button when you record the first guitar part and the drums will kick straight in!
Yes this is great advice, I don’t use the inbuilt presets on the 600 I record on save them directly to track 1 externally, there a way of changing the preset beats but I haven’t managed to delve into that yet, definitely an incredible shout 🙌🙌
@@JohnWynne I do the same, i think the internal drums are mostly shite. I make my drums with Addictive drums & Ableton then import them to Tracks 4, 5 and 6. I also achieve what SamWolley suggests but using 2 assigns on an external for switch. Assign 1 to start track 4, and second assign to start recording on Track 1. I put all my drum loops in single mode so when I start one drum loop it replaces the previous one. its a great way to build a track with drums. Nice vid by the way, that bass emulation is incredible.
Not this one, I find the onboard beats to be pretty naff so I found some good beats on Apple Loops within garage band and recorded and saved a few bars on track one of the looper🤟
But how to you get your sound on the video. Is your boss rc600 connected to a computer with an USB cabel? And then you put the audio over the video when you are editing your video?
Hi, yes it’s simply usb from the rc600 to my iPhone, I use a camera connection kit to link it up, sometimes I may have to edit the eq as it can be a bit heavy on the top end 👍
@@kiercronin1442 depends what you want it for really, for me it was for the guitar to bass which sold it, I love all the other fx too, the sound is super clean, has no interference and it’s easily programmable
@JohnWynne I'm interested in looping many instruments through my guitar.... piano and strings etc..... I've looked at the boss version too. And also the Jam origin stuff.... But really undecided what route to go down
Hey Geoff, they’re called the skinny little twins, momentary pedals which I use to control mic fx on the rc600, pretty sure they’re now sold on Amazon 👍
Great work! A powerful rig!
Hey, thank you so much. What rig do you use?
Hellow my friend, Very good sound.

I gotta get my hands on a godin, never played one before, I love the way it’s all built into the guitar, I worry about my gk3 getting damaged
Just when I was thinking you may be a "little bit scotty" you mentioned it 😭Great tones keep up the good work 👍

Hey bro new subscriber here I just came across this video. Have you ever used / tried the headrush looper pedal ?

great catching up man, I never got into the mic going through the rc600 it just sounded dead to me , maybe it was my settings!

I see the GR-55 and RC 600 are hooked together by a midi cable. What midi functionality are you using with the two pedals?
Hey, yes it’s simply for the midi clock, any delay fx on the gr55 automatically sync up with the beat/tempo I create on the looper, I noticed a huge difference when I started doing this, used to do the same with the rc300, definitely recommend if you have these units ⚡️👍
@@JohnWynne ok cool, so midi out of the 600 to the midi in of the gr-55 correct?

@linzkirk I’m gonna have to check this out 🙌 I’ve been ripping off my drum tracks from Apple Loops
is the drumbeat one of factory ones that comes with the rc-600? thanks

thanks yeah i have an rc600 and i was like i dont remember the beats being that good lol. i'll have to check out apple loops sometime @@JohnWynne

lovely and god you are funny! You need a different camera angle so we can see the looper and the whole setup at the same time as performing.

Love the vids man😊
@SamWoolley-om5hh JP is my good friend, we live in the same town, he’s an absolute legend 🤟
Any chance of a video on the GR55 please?
I sure will! Do you have a gr55?
