I'm not even a Slipknot fan, but this is so stupid of him to say. You have a generation, maybe two who listen to your music, but Slipknot has been going on since the 90's and has a super dedicated fanbase. At least their looks are just a hook and then they also produce good music (if you are into their type of music) verses MGK only has looks to go off of. The music is mediocre at best and I've barely heard any of it. Honestly I don't want to hear any more than I already have.
The amount of dedication they put on their music is insane. And I just think that he calling them weird is offensive especially when some of the members have passed away but have helped to make the band one of the best/well known bands.

It's annoying when these young new artists disrespect veteran bands such as Slipknot. Slipknot provided a young, lost, and rebellious generation in the late 90's and early 2000's a voice. They were able to relate to lots of kids that might of been going through hard times. They made it cool for kids to be themselves and not allow anyone to pick on them for that! Trust me I know because I was one of those kids! MGK needs to do his homework and start showing more respect to those that came before him in my opinion, especially when it sounds like MGK wants to stand up for kids who are lost in our current society!
