Crazy to think that it was 6 years ago, both still messed up after Paul and it shows really how on edge this band really has been over the entire time of it's existence, it's crazy to think they really are just now settling down
I know dude, when I read the title I thought that the fight was in the early Iowa late self titled album era, but 6 years ago? Damn... like you said, it's crazy to think that during the time they reunited after Paul's lose they still can't get their stuff together.
People give Corey and Clown a lot of shit with the circumstances around Joey and Chris but I've always contended that there's always more then one side to the story. Slipknot is a band that was positioned by a lot of troubled, damaged people that were on drugs and other bad shit and it took a lot to not only keep them from killing each other but themselves as well, literally and figuratively.

Corey and Clown made behind the scene deals that basically make them the owners of the Slipknot brand and everyone else in the band is essentially their employees/travelling musicians. If I spent the majority of my life travelling with a band, helping them build a name and sacrificing my home life for tours and concerts only to be told I'm an employee and don't deserve the cut of the money that Corey and Shawn get, well then I'd be pretty pissed. I'd probably quit the band myself if we couldn't come to an agreement. On Joey's part, sure he had drug problems, but he was also sick and only had a few good years of drumming left in him and instead of giving him the glory he deserved and sticking by their friend through hard times tey cast him aside and replaced him. Slipknot will always hold a place in my metal soul, but new Slipknot isn't Slipknot, it's "Corey and Shawn's Travelling Pay Check" band.

Sid's intense, chaotic energy is primarily why Clown brought him into the band in the first place. Before officially joining the band, Sid went to one of Slipknot's earlier shows. At one point, Sid crawls up and over the audience, onto the stage, grabs Clown, and starts headbutting him until Clown literally falls over and has to crawl away. Apparently this impressed Clown so much that he wasn't going to take no for an answer on whether or not to make Sid a member.

Bro, me and the other guitar player in the band I play with do not get along sometimes we have gotten up unplugged guitars and walked out of shows because of each other's Behavior
Corny better not make Mick mad.
Sid flip me off in Las Vegas 😅😂❤
Respect to the starset cap guy
Sid > Corey
Corey Taylor needs an Oscar. He can cry on command better than anyone in Hollywood.
Don't think this was on command
@@saviourofmankind3993 that’s why he gets the Oscar. Do you think Leonardo DiCaprio would be as accomplished an actor if you knew he was forcing himself to drop 300 n-bombs in one single movie? Nope. He’s a really good faker.
It's kinda creepy
Kelly is one lucky girl to be with Sid. I’m jealous af. He’s my fav.
