Im an Aussie and I live in Europe. Many of my Aussie friends seems to know someone who knows another person going through this.
I know someone directly who's going through a family crisis due to the morality of it happening to their pre-teen child. Its really bonkers. It sounds unbelievable, I honestly thought it was a blown out of proportion but its real.
Now living in europe there is some unsavory stuff going down with this stuff in Germany, something about "sex exploration rooms" for kids, one of my german friends was telling me.

I have said it multiple times but the only way to not get cancelled is simply by not even responding to the cancel culture. That's essentially the reason on why South Park is still a strong going show.
As a bisexual man, I love Alex Terrible, and it deeply depresses me how many people there are who try to speak on the behalf of people like me, and I hate that we share the same air. There is almost nothing worse than a person who gets offended over the tiniest things on behalf of people who's groups they aren't even a part of. There was nothing that he said that warrants cancelling, and nothing to get offended about whatsoever.

Half the time it’s not even someone who is gay or bi doing the canceling or complaining. It’s others speaking for someone like you. It’s sad because it takes away your voice. To speak for someone who is gay (for example) is a bit disrespectful in my opinion. People are more complex than just their sexuality or even race for that matter.

It's like people completely forget that metal, punk, hardcore, etc. were all about saying "fuck the man". Now they're suddenly falling in line with the woke mobs in which is being pushed by who?? You guessed it... the MAN. Metal has been infiltrated just like everything else with this woke garbage.
I would argue that metalheads in general, or people who unironically call themselves metalheads, have always been pretty easily offended. You may be only looking at it from a political or social standpoint, but I can't tell you how many times I've heard opinions coming from "metals" from the start of metal that will be offended if even a new sub genre of metal comes out, metal being the only real genre and something is wrong with you and if you don't like it, prog metal being the most intellectual metal, metalcore isn't metal, deathcore is gay, etc.
Metal culture (more specifically metalhead culture) as a whole is pretty ridiculous in that sense, enough to where there is a reason the stereotype exists. And no, I'm not coming at metal. I love it. But the arguments and whining I hear in the community from years past until now is just pathetic. I think the issue stems from some people thinking they're special or more cultured for enjoying it.
