    This guy is great. Bought my first Sabian in 1990 and haven't played any other cymbal since.

    Robert was really left with nothing when his father died...so THAT is how Sabian started...

    Love the old Hand hammered Sabian cymbals from the early days beautiful sound the metal is different from Zildijan and the old ones are hard to find .

    I love it when people that have been dyed in the wool Zildjian fans that have complained about Sabian cymbals find out that Robert and Armand were brothers. And that the argument over changing the formula was Armand's idea, which is why Robert said, bye and the reason he was "given less responsibility".

    Sabians actually do sound more like Zildjian cymbals than Zildjians do now. Love Sabian.

    I'm glad he specified the state wherein Boston is located. That could have been really confusing otherwise...

    That's ironic that he's called Robert Zildjian, and he's making Sabian cymbals

      These family splits happen a lot.
      There is no one named Beam at the Beam Distillery.
      There the Master Distiller at Heaven Hill is Craig Beam.
