I enjoyed the campaign and the multiplayer is quite fun. I don't really play much cod tho. Last was Mw2019 and then original black ops. Perfect comfort game to me. Just play for half an hour and leave.
Great review! Definitely gonna wait for a sale on this game because I don’t care to pay full price for a cod game anymore. Definitely looking forward to the battlefield 2042 release.
Started playing in 2008 with cod4 and from there i stopped at ghosts from being burnt out and had enough of the same stuff every year. Got back into cod during lockdown with MW19 and it felt nostalgic to play but cold war ruined it all again, all my friends completely stopped playing after a month of its release and now it seems everyone has had enough of cod
because they are ruining their own game by adding unnecessary stuff just like fortnite did. i think most of the community prefers the old fashioned games (waw, bo1,bo2 and mw)it’s just the little kids that like the new ones
The last CoD game I bought was Modern Warfare which I thought was pretty decent but I’m the type of gamer that needs a good reason to get this. The hardcore fanboys who buy CoD every single year are obviously going to judge it differently than someone like Angry Joe.
They say angry joe isn’t a good source but player reviews for this game is at a 2.3 😵💫 sit this one out ik yu saw the clip where smb got a 30 second v2 rocket with jus hip fire and no aim with a 10 attachment shotgun
Thanks for reviewing this man, I really like your reviews and also trust your opinion on games. Definitely going to just borrow this from a friend to play Campaign and try out Zombies just once.
spawn trapping means good spawns, since beginning of cod the point is spawn trap opposite team, and if they spawn trap u ur job is to anchor and stop that
I’ll buy this game if it was 20 dollars. It looks unfinished; when I played the beta it felt like it was 30% done. Cold War was a good game and it didn’t even reach its potential. CW had one of the most potential for a cod game but they’ve been slacking. I really wanted a good ww2 game cause I never played the last one. Let’s see if the price goes down this Black Friday
I used to be a big cod player from modern warfare up to black ops 2. After that, it’s all been the same for me and got bored with it. Gotta be honest though, Ive met so many friends at that point and we even have our own team and we played every night. So many cool memories, our team was almost always destroying other teams, it was so much fun at that time.

The only COD game I've ever played is WW2. I am a fan of the campaign more than anything else like multiplayer. Mainly because I don't have a lot of time to play often. A campaign usually takes me 3-6 weeks to finish. With that being said, which COD game should I pick up? Cold War, Vanguard, Modern Warfare, Black Ops 3, or BO4? I have a lot to catch up on and plan on playing all of them at some point. I'm leaning towards Cold War to start for now, but I respect and appreciate the opinion of experienced COD players. Thanks, everyone!
Vanguard campaign is great from what I’ve heard. So is the newest modern warfare. Bo3 campaign was horrible. And bo4 didn’t even have a campaign. So in conclusion I would get modern warfare because it has some iconic characters from the older games and has a great story line that dosent replay the same features and is very entertaining.
People saying Vanguard is good only ever use 3 weapons. Most of the weapons are too inaccurate and useless. Vanguard will be dead in 6 weeks, avoid it.
the lack of factions in a WW2 game shocks me, I hate how every match feels like a FFA game because its the same operators on each side... like you're fighting in germany/japan but it's Allies versus Allies... why
Yeah I think it's because you might hurt some feelings if there was a team of Nazis. They said a while back no more swastikas in their games. It's ridiculous. Plus it might spark racial humor and bad jokes in the lobby chat. I don't like it either but people are fragile these days. You gotta protect 'em, make 'em feel safe and all that mess and blah blah blah... 🙄
@@Brimst0ne_XB not sure where you heard that but there were definitely swastikas in the campaign black dude even got called a negro a few times which is kinda suprising for a cod game
@@allancarreon5679 Yeah I'm playing the campaign right now. I meant in multiplayer. I'll have to hunt down the article I read. I was a few years back. Maybe when WW2 was released. I remember they started using Iron crosses in their multiplayer maps instead of swazis. And now you don't even have separate faction of axis vs allies. It's just kinda weird like.. are we that fragile these days? It's history man I would think perks could handle it.
Good review, you're one of the few that constructively praises the game and not mindlessly bashing it. I'm a BF fan and Vanguard really grabbed my attention with the Blitz mode, the 20 maps at launch and how it's harder for campers to be around as they were in MW, which is a game I personally didn't like at all. The setting and graphics on Vanguard look gorgeous as well and it seems they took a page out of BF's book and made the environment destructible. Excited to play it.
Campaign was very good, the only thing I didn't like about is is that it was too short. For example the Midway mission doesn't feel like a Midway Battle, it was too short. To make a real mission that would depict whole Battle of Midway from the beginning to the end, that mission would have to last equally 10 hours. But Yeah, good campaign.
Interesting review. It’s the complete opposite of Angry Joe’s take. Some of the issues he showcased were pretty bad but as long as you’re enjoying it, that’s all that matters.
I feel like if someone is getting burnt out with a franchise releasing a new game every year, the best solution would be to just no longer play anymore of them moving forward. I'm not saying that Call of Duty isn't contributing to the series' yearly fatigue, but the player still has the choice of whether or not to buy a new entry. The best way to describe Call of Duty right now is that it's comfort food to those who still enjoy the series. If you aren't tired by COD's annual releases, then go ahead and buy Vanguard; if you ARE tired of the series, then just don't play anymore of the games and focus your attention on other franchises.
HUGE SPOILERS FROM THE VERY END: !!!!!!!! They made zombies canon, i don't know what to think about it, i guess the realism of modern warfare will no longer be there, anymore.
Some of the cutscenes in the campaign were next level. Not everything, but they are getting closer and closer to photo real. Some of the scenes with the "Little Mouse" were just amazing to look at, and the acting in general was superb!

6:00 What these stats do? It collects information for their stupid SBM system. Even if you don’t have a problem with it, you HAVE to at least mention it! It is a no go for a lot of players!
Ignorance is bliss, I guess. As someone who spent a lot of time researching World War II, this game is an absolute travesty for so many reasons. For starters, Arthur is based on a real life British paratrooper named Sidney Cornell. Sidney was the first black paratrooper in the Royal Army. For some unbelievably ridiculous reason, instead of playing as Sidney, we play as this 100% unrealistic plastic doll as a character. Arthur is from Cameroon. Cameroon was a British colony back in those days. The British intentionally kept the local population down and exploited them for their labor. Despite this, we're supposed to believe Arthur was born into a wealthy family in British-controlled Cameroon, and then sent to study at Cambridge University in London. No, just no. Do yourself a favor and look up the story of Sidney Cornell. An absolute lion of a man, yet he just wasn't good enough in Activision's eyes to have his story told. Next up is Polina. While there were plenty of women snipers in the Red Army, Polina's character is just a big, "no." She's less of a sniper and more of a one woman army. The scene where she's carrying her injured brother through German lines, mowing Germans down one by one with a pistol is a disgrace. You know what would've made for a better story? If Polina was operating an anti-aircraft gun at Stalingrad when the first German bombings took place, as there were a lot of women who did that in real life. Or, how about Polina being a member of the famous "Night Witch" bomber squadron, an all-female bomber squadron equipped with a single-engine bomber that was outdated before WWII even began. Despite that, they flew thousands of missions, and the nickname "Night Witches" was given to them by the Germans. Both of those sound more appealing than "invincible super-soldier with no personalty." Lastly, there's no attention to detail at all, in any of the missions. You find German weapons in Japan, weapons, attachments or tanks that weren't made until 1944 or 1945 (or sometimes, never even made at all) in a mission taking place in 1942, uniform changes that didn't happen until 1943 present in the Stalingrad mission taking place in 1942. The German bombers at the beginning of the Stalingrad mission are also 1943 variants of the Ju-87 Stuka with 20mm gun pods made for tank hunting instead of their normal bomb load. With the Stukas are dozens upon dozens of He 177 bombers, despite the Germans having no more than a handful of them at that time. It's simply a joke. They should've just went full-on CoD and made the game some sort of alternate dimension or something. At least you can suspend your disbelief at that point.
Answer: No. COD is as soulless cash grab like Madden. Why pay $60 for a 4-5 hour on rails campaign with constant right wing propaganda and tacked on, lazy, and disrespectful tokenism (The all black soldier story is just lazy and doesn’t do anything unique to say something about what they had to go through). I’m going to be playing Halo Infinite thank you very much.
Modern Warfare is 100x times better than cold war if you ask me. The multiplayer is very nice and fun. Its just a good cod. I didn’t like cold war multiplayer at all tbh. But this is my opinion about the compared 2.
Only COD I enjoy are Cold War and Modern Warfare for the stealth but that's really it tbh. Vanguard is aight unless there's something broken that comes up in PvP
I don’t agree with activision going for political correctness instead of historical correctness. What I mean by that is how they have a woman fighting on the front lines of world war 2.Woman were not allowed to fight in armed conflict. Before anyone calls me a sexist or something like that, there is the issue that the woman character is Russian, and Americans and the English despised working with soviets, which isn’t something that was accurately portrayed in the campaign. Also, there’s the issue of black men in WW2, who, of course being a minority group, were very looked down upon by many other people, including their fellow soldiers.Again, another issue with the relationships between the main characters in the campaign.
Soviet women saw a decent amount of frontline combat as snipers, anti-aircraft gun operators, pilots (bombers) and some were even tank gunners or commanders. So, yes, Activision decided to throw out any kind of historical accuracy for some "girl power" abomination of a mission taking place in Stalingrad, or rather, a highly fictionalized version of Stalingrad the Soviets would've tried selling to the world before the war. The girl power mission isn't the only abomination, though. The whole campaign is an absolute disgrace to World War II.
Battlefield 2042 doesn't have any campaign. In my opinion, 60 bucks for multiplayer alone is the deal breaker. Still if you're a hardcore battlefield fan and don't care about single player mode, you can go for it
This was a great review that summed up my thoughts perfectly. Critical and AngryJoe's reviews both seem lackluster in comparison, definitely not taking anything besides surface level consideration. Though I don't blame them since they're as casual as you can realistically get.

Terrible game, campaign is a waste of time and the multiplayer is just frantically running around until you get shot, usually in the back by someone who just happens to turn a corner a split second after you do. No immersion, no tactics, no fun.
No word about the fact that they changed a Russian war hero to a woman, just for their narrative? And the fact that you are playing a bunch of millennial characters in the most horrifying war ever? No word about the fact, you are playing a black soldier commanding a troop, what was not possible back then. Moreover they let out the fact, that the US soldiers were quite racist against black soldiers. First video of yours I don’t like!

Honestly if COD didn't go back in time again I would’ve bought it
Vanguard completely sucked, the worst color duty they’ve ever made. Cold War was superior in every way and I would much rather play that.
6:00 What these stats do? It collects information for their stupid SBM system. Even if you don’t have a problem with it, you HAVE to at least mention it! It is a no go for a lot of players!
I like your videos, I've been on this channel for a while. But definitely don't like BADguard. Cold war is just enough : )
I haven’t played cod since 2014 advanced warfare, should I jump back in and get vanguard or will I be disappointed
Man I have been playing Blops 4 for like three years now. Was thinking of getting either Vanguard or Cold War. Not sure which one
Both of those sound more appealing than "invincible super-soldier with no personalty."
Lastly, there's no attention to detail at all, in any of the missions.
Do you know when is the soonest sale for cod vanguard?
I think a COLD WAR VS VANGUARD would be a good video too make. I would want too see comparison
please review assassin's creed 4 black flag
Btw 69k subs ❤️🔥
Ok looks like BF2042 is the move this year.
this didn’t age well
Could you please do a Should you buy The Witcher 2 and/or Skyrim Anniversary Edition? Love the content mate
Already planned on doing those two, and thank you I really appreciate it!
Thanks, your one of the main reasons why I got into AC too
Btw this cold war and mw 2019 which is better game ? I haven't played a cod in a long time so want to try one
Modern Warfare is 100x times better than cold war if you ask me. The multiplayer is very nice and fun. Its just a good cod. I didn’t like cold war multiplayer at all tbh. But this is my opinion about the compared 2.
@@crespothings4883 lmao modern warfare was not a good cod... But I do agree that it is way better than cold war
@@bonystickmanking1250 dude liked his own comment

Watch your emails if you could boss . Your videos are fire great stuff I always feel like you feel the same way about games as me
Same man
Only COD I enjoy are Cold War and Modern Warfare for the stealth but that's really it tbh. Vanguard is aight unless there's something broken that comes up in PvP
Is it worth it playing Assassins Creed Liberation HD ?
my favorite channel
No! Just saved you time and money. You’re welcome!
My boi fast
I've been playing COD5 WAW and have recently bought this game. It's like a modern update of the game I still like playing
Wow I wonder what recoil control, accuracy, initial recoil control, and recoil recovery means! :0
i am every happy to play it. this why i have the game already now i am exited now
the best call of duty whit that thematic is WW2
World at war doesn’t exist ?
WW2 campaign was good
@@raskenk7929 in my opinion the second one was bether
@@rolandx6584 understandable have a great day
@@GRGCompletionist I would disagree but that’s just my opinion
Do not use a sniper scope on a sniper, then they are really good!
You should do a video on bloodborne. It's a great game but a bit forgotten.
Should i buy vanguard or battlefield 2042?
Battlefield 2042 doesn't have any campaign. In my opinion, 60 bucks for multiplayer alone is the deal breaker. Still if you're a hardcore battlefield fan and don't care about single player mode, you can go for it
This was a great review that summed up my thoughts perfectly. Critical and AngryJoe's reviews both seem lackluster in comparison, definitely not taking anything besides surface level consideration. Though I don't blame them since they're as casual as you can realistically get.
Clearly you don't have any decent taste in gaming joes review was the most honest review on UA-cam and this one is just way to misleading vanguard ain't enjoyable or worth the money this guy is clearly doing this biases crap for a reason
To call Charlie casual is so hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
Hey can you review Alan Wake remastered ?
No don’t buy it…..WWII are where the players are going, so many newbies joining on XBox
I have vanguard and just got nw3. I mostly play tdm and mw3 is very disappointing to me. Its an aggrevating experience of take 3 steps and die. Vanguard tdm is far better
You enjoyed the GAME with SBMM🙄😳👀
This game is terrible. Unrealistic fast running speeds. Unrealistic gameplay. Wooden walls you can run through. Small maps. Play a proper military game like hell let loose and support them rather than an arcade shooter that is the same shit every time they release it apart from a few cosmetic details
Your shitting on a game for being exactly what people expect from it an arcade style shooter and for gods sake stop going to a cod game excepting anything realistic it never has been and it never will cause that's the fucking point of it
@@allancarreon5679 my opinion is that its shit unrealistic wank. Watch documentary on how the game was made they tried to make it ‘realism’ don’t know how though because the game sucks balls
Do vanguard vs modern warfare
Yes
Van guard or battle field 2042?
Not gonna buy it. GTA Remastered drops today. I'll wait for a big sale before I acquire Vanguard.

TBH, COD getting boring. The Multiplayer always be Deathmatch like play CSGO or R6. They never have balls to Fight BF series. And like every new COD always dead like 1-2 months after release and End up become Warzone Trash content. This need to be stop such disrespect for COD franchise to become Warzone content again n again.i played COD since COD 1 on PC in 2003
Vanguard is not bad but is not good
The game is just Mediocre

Who needs to play a new ww2 shooter when you can play a ww1 shooter from 2016. *PROCEEDS TO PULL OUT BATTLEFIELD 1*

Bo2 and Bo4 still the best hands down, sledgehammer games sucks at making games
Bo4 is shit
@@ashkesslet1149 that's why I still get lots of games when playing, there Is still a huge number of players online today, I think its the best COD in the PS4 era. Anything sledgehammer spits out is trash
The answer is :
No
You don't even get to fly that plane yourself 🤣😭
I'm never buying it, there shouldn't have red dot sights, and they fucked up the guns.
I don't know why, but I'm really glad that the campaign specifically has been received well!
I think cod should start making open world shooters now !
It's time to stop the foot on the ground COD because these last few cod ain't working. Advanced Warfare 2 please come year!!!!
