No, some people are absolutely donkeys with no taste and love in life. That’s what this guy is.
Case & point: Arkham Origins. His armor was heavy, thick, and bulletproof. It wasn't until he became older, wiser, and more combat experienced that he started relying on his skills, making his suit more flexible and thin which made him more susceptible to being shot.
The entire point of this Batman is we actually get to see him as a sophomore version of the character. We see him learning from his mistakes.
It's not Batman's fault that the bad guys are terrible shooters.

I really wanted to like the new batman more but it didnt really do it for me, that said i still have hope for batman 2 and i think rob fits the batman character pretty good. Its just the movie itself was lacking for me.
