Love the video, and the organising ideas always good to do some organising. But I've got quite a few burgundy things, going to have to avoid them until they're out of fashion again.
Loved this video and the one suggesting a capsule wardrobe for the season with one box in,one box out. I’m off up to my wardrobe now to have a rummage. First clear one rail of stuff I’ve not worn for ages and then use that for the capsule. Feeling very inspired!! Thank you 😊
I like that you recommend shopping in charity shops. Too much fast fashion these days - shop your closet, shop charity and consignment shops, and then consider shopping new. Thanks. I like the video.
I have just discovered your channel, and I adore your smart ways to organize a capsule wardrobe. I also hang onto well-made clothing and wear it for decades! I am 72, and I love Boden and Kettlewell catalogs - because I am in the US.
Well done on the shop your wardrobe theme, love it! I bought burgundy suede ankle boots last autumn from a preloved boutique (£25 still in the box) can't believe they're now ticking 2 trends! I also have an old burgundy Next leather belt and a burgundy moto jacket. I've added a burgundy puffy on trend cross body bag from Matalan for £17 so I will be adding these to my clothes for autumn a current twist. #Creativity over consumption.
Such good ideas for newest fashions! Am getting leopard prints out. Recently purchased animal print dress at thrift shop AX Paris for $4. What a steal! Thanks for sharing great tips!!👢👖💄👠👗
I love your capsule wardrobe videos. I went ahead and placed my October😊 wardrobe because next week it may be 73 degrees here. In the 80’s now. I don’t have a striped shirt, updated vest or cardigan.
I have just subscribed, not having cime across your channel before. You keep mentioning UK and America, I live in Australia and whilst I know our seasons are not comparable to yours it would be good to hear which retailers you are usung that is a vailable to us too.
Shopping your wardrobe what a great idea - just doing that now and finding some fab things I'd forgotten and suprised at how on trend they are. Loving animal print which I have already and burgundy that I don't so need to invest in a couple of key pieces. Another great video thank you ❤❤
Zara has great cotton shirts! I think Women over Seventy like you and I have to wear collars because of sagging skin at the neck needs to be covered. Leopard print is classy with lots of things. Burgundy is hot right now especially leather or Pleather. Older Women in Jeans is out though. I'm new here, sixty six, from the USA. My go to shop is ZARA because it's two hundred miles to the nearest shopping center and the returns and styles are easy. I wish though that we had a Primark or an M&S. thank you.
@@jackiewightman2966I agree. If you feel good wear anything. I don’t love my neck area but don’t cover it. I mostly cover my arms because I’m not confident with how they look. If I’m hot i don’t though.
I have days where I act the same way ,where I forget things and I forget what I was talking about so please don’t feel bad. I think it’s funny. I guess I shouldn’t be laughing at you, but I do the same exact thing.😂😂
I’m 70 now and really don’t follow trends anymore. I just stick to classics. I have jeans, but never wear them. I just prefer joggers or wide led pants, but not too wide. I love v neck tops and button down shirts, mostly in white or stripes. I guess I’m boring😂
I appreciate that you buy clothes from resale shops.
I love the way you can go way back with your clothes whereby a lot of us are too quick to get rid of things once the trend wanes how foolish we are.
I keep my stuff for a long time as well. If I still like it, I’ll still wear it!
Yes you do too Carolyn x
I am 77. I have always been fashion conscious. Loved your ideas!
Love your approach, shop your wardrobe/closet
Thank you! And that’s a beautiful shirt on you!
Oh thank you so much
This concept is brilliant.... And you will eventually have great monthly practice putting a capsule wardrobe that suits your personal tasted!!!
Love the video, and the organising ideas always good to do some organising. But I've got quite a few burgundy things, going to have to avoid them until they're out of fashion again.
Wow, a ton of items. I wouldn’t call it a capsule wardrobe though, with so many pieces. Lots of options though, very diverse selection.
Love your jackets x

PS just found a lovely leopard print scarf I’d completely forgotten about!!
Some fabulous ideas there ❤

I have been looking for a blue suede jacket. Love yours.
Great video. Gosh how I wish I had kept some of my clothes!!. You have some beautiful pieces. Thank you for showing x

Sounds great!
You always remind me to have a second look in my closet and I appreciate that! Great looks. Thanks for posting.
I found a burgundy purse in my stash from last year….whooo hooooo!!!!!!
I want to try this 🎉

That is an awesome find.
I love your videos

I'm glad it was useful . With the temperatures you'll have, striped shirts would be useful and chic.

I often add Australian links. I’ll add some in again .
You own a lot more clothes than I do. 😀
Great video. Love from Australia. It's Spring, never look forward to Summer, too HOT!

Thank you for the video. I am going through my closet this week. I found a suede car coat, just need to replace some buttons.
I'm Scottish . . I've put my wee classic dark blue jacket/blazer well away.. for next summer.
Love the burgundy but I’m right off the leopard print just now. Find it just so middle-aged despite younger people wearing it.

Thanks for sharing!! I do M&s hauls and include USA links. You should also look at my Boden video from a month ago as that has USA links too.
I’m 71 and am never giving up my jeans! I think older women can look great in them. Depending on style and body shape and how they are worn.
I think you can wear Jeans and don't have to cover your neck whatever your age! If you enjoy your clothes then wear them!

Jeans are not “ out” for older women. If you style jeans correctly they can look great… very stylish.
Is there a link for the burgundy jacket with the fur collar
JACKET MAKER BOMBER JACKET bit.ly/3Udk7Nl use code ANNE10 for a discount.
I need a spare room to keep perfectly good clothes that come back into fashion.
Me too 😀

I am 70. Have a similar leather vest to yours, but it has a hood, is it ok to wear it? Or am to old for it?
Wear it. Just make the other items more classic

I feel the leopard prints don’t suit her skin and hair colour. Love the vibrant blouse she wears here .
You are right. I say that in other videos. It’s why I don’t have much and the grey toned one is better for me.
