this is so incredibly perfectly timed! i love your guides and am trying to get into ultimate raiding. so when i was looking up a guide the other day (while they are well made) i was thinking, "man i wish Hector made a guide for UCoB..." and lo and behold, here we are! thanks so much for doing what you do, your guides are so easy to understand and clean. wish you the best!
will start progging ucob with my static soon, thanks for the videos, hector. it's always a godsent \o/ hopefully you will make other ultimate guides too!
I love how clean and well-explained your videos are. I have my entire static using them now, keep up the awesome work. Any plans for an Ultima EX/Unreal guide ahead of the 6.1 patch?
@@CapnSquirrel Great question! While any neurolink pattern works, assuming they're far enough apart, I find this pattern easier to do a mechanic in phase 3, Fellruin Trio. The pattern in my guide will ensure that the neurolinks are directly underneath each of the bosses. As the group deals with either in->spread or spread-> in at this point, this pattern means the group can do a light spread around the neurolink and then collapse into the middle of it for an easy dodge.
You can, but you'd be asking a healer to do a lot of movement that would be a lot easier for a physical ranged to keep uptime during. While there's no proper DPS check in Twin phase anymore, good DPS still lets you skip more mechanics and saves time getting to further phases. 15s saved per pull really adds up when you're 500 pulls in.
you notice this is a twintania phase guide, not a nael phase guide right. People have to start somewhere to learn the fight and twintania is first in this one
Yes let's change pf markers because those never worked before. You can simply teach people how to handle range generate by having someone intercept. It makes it cleaner, you actually practice for tenstrike andyou don't have your caster losing uptime. You should have also mentioned that standing in the neurolink doesn't just decrease damage but healing given out/received. Then there's also the fact thag for some reason, the boss auto attacks can crit. You explain things well but miss out stuff

Love the guide! I needed this months ago, but awesome to have it nonetheless!
Thank you so much for all the work you do. :)

Great suggestion! Definitely a fight I plan to make a guide for.
Awesome video, 📹 thank you
Great... There aren't a lot of good ucob tutorial videos out there. Just cleared ultima weapon, l am going to give tis a try next
yooo i was thinking of starting ucob this is a sign
I highly recommend it! UCoB is easily my favourite fight in the game.
woo UCoB guide lets goo!
Thank you much. I have did Twintania yesterday becus of you're Amazing guide
Did this yesterday and will be going again tomorrow and Twister is a big meanie ;3; Got used to it though :D
Twister memes were responsible for approximately 95% of all deaths during my UCoB prog. That mechanic can do one.
Starting Ucob with friends! Watching this helped us so much! A way I can get a hand on those marker placements? :D
Ah yes twister memes. Love this raid fight
I still have nightmares of those things.
you ate....!!
I noticed that this looks like an inverted version of what's known as UPR/ on clee's guide. Is there a reason to choose one over the other?
to clarify, I'm referring to the triangle formation of the neurolinks; these are a downwards triangle whereas other guides are an upwards triangle

@@HectorHectorson making the easiest trio easier while making adds significantly more annoying isn't a very good tradeoff imo
You probably said it but do the twisters lock onto the location once the cast starts or when it finishes?
As soon as it finishes, which is why you'll need to be moving as the cast finishes or you'll pop.
Is death sentence a hard swap (debuff lasts long enough for autos to kill after invuln fades) or can it be invuln'd?
Hard swap. The vuln only falls off shortly before the next death sentence.
Can't you just bait liquid hell with h2? So you don't have to deal with the baiter switch.

is this a UAR strat?
Ayyy
You may want to go over the proper way to handle the flex pattern during Nael Divebombs rather than teaching people to wipe :/
